Lucas avoided these gatherings whenever possible. It wasn't that he minded being social, but he preferred quieter gatherings. He had business on the space station over the next few days so was stuck for the time being. He settled into a booth, having one of the waiter's droids bring him some spiced drink.

He glanced across the room, seeing prominent figures from across the ISC, nodding to several as he made eye contact. His eyes were drawn to several of the dancers in the room before finally turning his attention to the game. He had gone to enjoy watching the game of Hutt Ball. He still preferred racing, but it would suffice.

Lucas took a sip of the spiced drink and set the glass down on the table as play began. The only thing that could have been better would be a plate of wings. He leaned back, unbuttoning his jacket and relaxing for the moment.

One for social formalities in places where the rich and famous hobnob, York stood and removed the cigar from his teeth as the man (@Reyn ) entered and made his way to a chair next to the couch that Soygun claimed. Soygun sat when the stranger sat. The man was dressed formally, in a military uniform of some rank it appeared. When he introduced himself as one of the Lords of Onderon, the pieces came together. Onderon was firmly placed inside FWA space, but so was Kattada once upon a time. "And you are?"

"Soygun York. I represent Kattada in the ISC as their governor representative." York figured that a Lord of Onderon would recognize the name being that he had been in the news for weeks, labeled as a "leak." That all blew over when he was "exonerated" by a full confession from another senator. "It's a pleasure. Tell me, are you here in an official capacity, or do you enjoy watching a good bit of friendly competition now and again? I have to be honest," York said chuckling softly to himself, "I do enjoy a good, competitive Huttball game."

The Twi’lek father had been very clear with his son. “Don’t drink anything you’re too young to drink, son.” The mother had been no less. “Don’t make out or make off with any girls, son.” The son had smiled his best. “Don’t worry about me, guys. I’ll be in the bar just watching the game. Promise! You two enjoy your spa and get them lekku massaged and go play over there okay cool thanks see ya”

Then the young Twi’lek was off. He walked into the bar—some old bastard had raised his cane at the wrong moment—and rubbed his head. “Watch where you’re swinging that thing, gramps!” Gramps just smiled. “Say, Billy, is this the bus to Coruscant?”

Ignoring that, Taco moved along. The other bar he had walked into was everything he could have hoped for. Bars and cantinas and other such synonyms were a sixteen-year-old’s favorite dream next to making out with a Zeltron Jedi in the school cafeteria with mynocks flying around.

Well whatever dreams were dreams but right now this bar on the Daedalus was as real as any other. There were hot dancers, two of his own fellow lekku at the bar in the bar, a bunch of lively people here to watch Huttball and the droids catering to them all.

Taco was more interested in getting his drink on right now so he walked up to the nearest droid to place his order. “Hey how’s it going, hey?” (@Nor'baal)The Twi’lek greeted as he straightened his jacket and stood tall, trying his best to look above the drinking age (just at the drinking age was too obvious, hey?).

“Yeah I’ll take a rum on the rocks—stirred, not shaken—and a couple of beers to get my game started before the game starts.” Popped his collar. “Need to show these lightweights how it’s done! Oh and make it snappy.” Snapped his fingers.

Klied forced a smile as York introduced himself. A politician. Great. And he was certain he had heard York's name before. Some scandal in the senate a while back. He wasn't the most up to date on galactic politics, so he wasn't aware of all the details. Still, not wanting to appear ignorant he nodded in half-recognition. "Ah yes, I know you." He said neutrally. "And likewise."

The man next asked if he was there in an official capacity to speak for Onderon. No doubt he would be eager to use the opportunity to try and sway Klied's opinion against the FWA if he was. The hunter smirked at the thought. "I'm just a private citizen Governor, here to support a friend." He said, nodding towards the television as it showed a brief clip of Poffo showboating to the audience. Klied chuckled lightly at that. "Hunting is my sport. Although recently I've started looking into starting a business. I imagine a man in your position has regular contact with private security firms?"

It was no secret that Emryc was a Huttball fan, but very few knew just how much. When he was asked his question, he cast a brief glance towards the giant screens that panned over the arena and the crowds. He thought back to when he had to scrounge up credits to pay for nosebleed tickets way in the back. He thought about those days where he worked late hours as a DJ, only to go right to his driving job the next day. He thought about spice runs and favors he did to be able to afford the worst tickets just to get into the arena. He thought about when he painted his face, his skin and chest in the colors of the Rancors. He thought about how he screamed, roared and cheered from the crowds till his voice was hoarse, tearing his shirt off and celebrating victories. He thought about how he got into fights when others tried to steal his tickets, when people significantly bigger than him mugged him for everything he had. He thought about how he suffered an entire month on the space station because he used every last credit he had for a seat that was just barely closer to the arena.

Emryc thought about all of this before he took a sip of his top shelf whiskey, expensive chrono glinting on his wrist as he looked back at the reporter.

“Yes, I come out to the games every now and then,” He stated as he glanced into the camera with the hint of a smirk touching his lips, “I will be putting my credits on the Blue Team,” Emryc took a drag from his cigarra as he waited for her next question.

Silver gaze panned over till they spotted a woman at the bar. He almost looked away, but she met his gaze and it took a moment for him to recognize her. Silver eyes pierced into ambers, frosty daggers that had the uncanny ability to cut away and shred at the curtains others put up as shields. The gaze lingered briefly, but long enough, before he glanced down and typed a few things into his datapad.

A moment later, one of his security droids discreetly broke away from where it stood behind the crowd. It walked towards Doctor Morata, presenting her with a card.

<<President Thorne invites you to join him and the other executives and officials in his VIP box>> The card was an access key.

Emryc was already focused back on the interview when the Huttball games were officially signaled to begin. The half Spehi looked at the reporter, “Two more questions, make them fast.”

York looked up at the screen when Klied mentioned following a friend. His chuckle as the screen showed the flamboyantly dressed combatant gave the governor that this was the friend he was support. Then he mentioned hunting was his sport and asked about private security firms. Soygun smirked. Just here to support a friend, huh? Asking about private security firms, he was either looking to hire or to be hired. York would gloss over that question. Soygun figured he could read the man from a business perspective if he put him on hold. He would ask again if he was serious, and how he did so would tell Soygun, an experienced businessman a lot.

"Sure, a time or two. Mostly for travel security." That is all he would say on that subject for now. "But hunting, you say? Makes sense being a Lord of Onderon. Onderon is mostly untouched wildnerness. I would imagine the predators in those jungles would make thrilling trophies, Lord Raxx?"

At this moment, the Hutt PA said the word "GO!" and Poffo could hear even the people on the Daedalus yell in near unison in excitment. York let his drift back and forth between the Lord of Onderon and the Huttball game on the screen before him.

Aska raised an eyebrow as Emryc asked his question. The intuition of this man was astounding to say the least. Other than Klied and Ali, the clone had told no one of just what it was that had brought her to Daedulus and yet he had came out of left field with his assumption. Then again, you didn’t get to be the President of an entire quadrant of the galaxy by being naive.

”Yea, that colorful son of a bitch. Business partner more than friend but call it what you want,” she replied with a smirk (@Sreeya )before raising her beer to her lips. It was then that the nosy reporter (@Scoobert ) muscled her way in between the clone and the Sephi, causing the lip of the glass bottle to push against Aska’s teeth and spilling some of it’s contents down the front of her jacket. ”Mother f***er!” she hissed as she rubbed her teeth before shooting a red hot glare at the back of the woman’s head while she pleaded Thorne for an interview. Instinct began to take over as she reached down for the SE-45 on her belt. ”It’s Hutt space. People die for less every day. No one will miss one less reporter,” Aska rationalized silently but when Emryc agreed to her request, calmer minds prevailed. Besides, the last thing she needed was getting a tarnished reputation as a cold blooded murderer while Klied was stirring up business for their newest venture.

It was then that the droid’s remark finally donned on her (@Nor'baal ) and as Aska turned to face the mechanical construct, it’s words brought back her smirk though the irritation still bubbled beneath the surface.

”You make it a habit to fry kids, droid?” she responded. ”Well that’s just all kinds of messed up,”

The tall man answered her question and it didn't disappoint. Soma looked to the camera and smiled brightly and beautifully. She knew this interview was going to land her a big score back at the station. She noticed the count down to the game beginning and grabbed the camera to aim it at the clock as it ticked down 3, 2, 1.. and then when the Hutts all in unison said go there was cheering going on all over so she waited for the crowd to quiet down just tad before going back to the interview. Placing the camera back onto the security droid she giggled.

Then Mr. Thorne said only two ore questions. She was thankful to even get one. So she would rely to him,

"Why of course Mr. Thorne! Don't wanna miss the big game!"

Now she was ready to ask a business question. Maybe more political than business. It would be nice to hear the ISC is fairing these days. Are they in discussion with the Republic and FWA? It was time to ask the man in charge here.

"So Mr. Thorne, how would you say the ISC is fairing compared to the Republic and FWA? I know that your expanding and looking to get to be a very prevalent government in the galaxy. Please tell us what the future plans of the ISC are."

This was a good question in case there were people back home that hadn't any idea of the ISC. It was a learning moment for the people to be a part of. Soma was ready to make a name for herself and right now it was through Mr. Thorne.

When they locked eyes, she merely gave a slight nod and a toast of her whisky to the President (@Sreeya) before taking a sip. At the droid's words, amber eyes swept over the card, and there was the slightest nod. Picking up the card and the glass, her low voice rasped through the cheering crowd. However, her eyes hadn't left the President's once having given a cursory glance over the access card.

"I'd be delighted."

She would break her gaze away, and begin making her way through the crowd with the confident stride of a woman in her element. Though many jostled and crowded to stare at the screens, many would take a step back at the woman's direct movement, some with widened eyes at the frosty aura.

Within her chest, she felt a small element of smugness that she could still make people move out of her way.

She made sure to pass by her employees' table; she could spare a moment and make jaws drop.

Making sure to lean over Jack, she slipped a credit chip into the front pocket of his jacket, her voice soft in his ear.
"Choose your bets wisely, Seypka," and pause long enough for him to recognize who she was, giving a faint flicker of a teasing smile. Giving a light pat to his shoulder, she would nod once at Orell and continue to the box, curious about the VIP treatment as well.

After all, she was worlds away from watching the game on a tiny screen on the Telomere, cheering over a cheap bought beer and a healthy snack.

Klied took a mental note of York trying to change the subject, but decided not to force the issue. They had just met after all and he didn't want to come off as desperate for an investor. That would only hurt his chances of success. Small talk wasn't exactly his strong suit, but he'd play the game however he needed to. Before he could answer the man's question however the main game finally began.

Klied turned his head to watch as both teams came running out of the gate, only for one of Poffo's mates and opponents to both stumble and make fools of themselves on the big screen. He could hear the laughter from the stands over the video. He cocked a brow in bemusement before looking back to York with a light chuckle. "Here I was thinking this was a professional match." He commented. "My friend might have an easier time of it then I thought." He took another sip from his glass before getting back to the governor's question.

"And yes, quite thrilling." He answered. "There's a reason we're so fond of our walls. Take ten steps outside of them without knowing what you're doing and you'll be dead before you can say 'What the hell is that?'" He smirked. He'd been reared as a hunter practically from the time he could walk. He had many fond memories of watching other game hunters who were just on expedition for the glory be reduced to whimpering children within hours. "I still love my homeworld with all my heart though. Have you ever been Governor? Iziz is beautiful in the summer."

Emryc didn’t miss Aska getting very frustrated with the reporter. He could sense the spikes in rage, and he had to keep from grinning. Unfortunately for him, he already knew the tabloids would have a field day with such a strong reaction. Was Aska behaving like this because another woman got close to Emryc? What was the relationship between Aska and Emryc? Was Aska already married? Was Emryc with Aska while he was missing this whole time? The questions would come flooding in and the poor woman would experience the brunt of it.

The half Sephi kept his attention on the camera as he answered the reporter’s question, “I’d say at this point ISC is at the forefront of the Galactic Senate. We have invested in MorataCorp and we’re seeing the first iterations of the vaccine already. We have curbed AMS and brought trade and economy back to planets that were almost overrun,” Emryc eyed the camera for a moment, “What has the Free World Alliance done? Allowed a breach in prison to let a crippled Sith Lord escape. It has lost the faith of its citizens, let them know that they are not safe and protected,” A grin formed on his face, “I think the ISC is doing just fine, miss.”

Emryc, of course, was the very same man that led the prison attack. None of that was betrayed in the way he smiled and charmed the audience on camera. He gave a breezy wave before excusing himself back towards the VIP box. The reporter still had Aska to accost for potentially scandalous information or details on Emryc.

The half Sephi made his way back to the VIP area to join the others there. The area was filled with lounging seats, dining tables, a full bar and a personal chef that operated in a kitchen in the back to prepare multi course meals to serve during the event. The box opened up to a balcony viewing area that overlooked the action directly. Large screens lined the walls to offer up close views of everything. The private bar area had some dancers to serve as entertainment as well, the practice quite prevalent in the Outer Rim worlds.

Emryc paid heed to little of it, walking in to find Ilana and also Lucas. He gave Lucas (@Raydo) a nod with his head, watching a twi’lek walk over towards the man with a giant bucket of chicken wings. Emryc looked back over at Ilana.

“Good to see you again,” He took in sight of the black hair and new look, “You are doing quite well for yourself, aren’t you?” Emryc said as he gestured for her to walk with him towards the bar. He always paid attention to the game, and he wasn’t too thrilled about his team doing poorly thus far.

Her question was answered. Thorne was quite confident and had a way with words that was so believable. Soma was loving the way he had answered the question. Power was behind it, figurative shots fired, and a clean landing at the end. Definitely making it to the news. Now it was time to ask the final question. She knew she'd ask about why he was missing for so long, and when she let the words out,

"So you've been miss... ing."

Emryc Thorne had walked away. Like he wasn't in this conversation. Like he didn't say two more questions just to answer one. How dare he? Who does he think he is? That was rude and unprofessional. She tried holding back her rage. Fists balled as she retrieved her camera and eyes glaring. She let out a mumble,

"Emryc kriffing Thorne everyone.."

Then she would place the turned off camera into her bag. Oh well. She thought to herself. She would have to get used to cumwads like that if she was gonna make it in this business. It was time to go mingle and kick back for a little bit. She could speak to the man she noticed first or she could go mingle with one of the ones at the booth or bar. The options were vast. Though she felt like sitting at the bar's counter and watching the Huttball game for a little while. The red team seemed to suck a little less than the blue team. She wouldn't be betting. It was too risky to bet now.

As she sat at the bar she noticed some interesting looking people. Not too impressed with their looks she would ask for another drink, as she seemed to have lost hers. Once the droid waiter brought it over she began to sip on it and watch the teams battle for the ball. It was exciting of course, though now the crowd was anticipating the teams to fall or hurt themselves like an episode of Galaxies Funniest Home Videos.

Orrell listened intently to jack's update on the vaccine, he obviously couldn't go into much detail in such a place as they were too many eyes and ears. he sipped at his whiskey as jack approved of his plans to be more involved.

he lifted his glass with Jack's Toast adding to his words "and it's continued sucess" before taking a drink from his whiskey. as glassed touched the table a black-haired woman approached behind jack from the edge of the booth and whispered in his ear whilst something into his pocket, he didn't release who it was until her eye golden eyes and pale face met his. Ilana. he nodded back in recognition as she moved on.

"I wonder what she's doing here?" he mused out loud to jack when she had disappeared from view.

Amber eyes panned around the VIP box wordlessly, taking in the sights, the smells. At the familiar scent of cologne and a smooth voice, she turned to the President, and inclined her head once, a faint, cool smile touching her lips. "Do you like the new look?" she replied quietly, but amusement glinted in amber eyes, before she followed him, taking a sip of her whisky before replying.

He seemed to be unhappy with something; sparing a quick glance at the game, she could see why. Perhaps he bet on blue.
I should let Jack know to bet on red, then, she thought with mild amusement, before nodding once to his question, coming up to the bar. At least here, she was less likely to be jostled about, however, she looked him up and down once, noting physical differences. He had been gone a long while; like most of the galaxy, she was curious, but not enough to pry.

It was none of her business, so she wouldn't bother.

"Business is going well, actually,"
she replied, pursing her lips slightly. "There have been many crises in the galaxy; pending human trials, some tests may yield beneficial results. And I am in a VIP lounge room with President Thorne. I'd say things are going well," she replied, giving him a nod as well.

"How about for yourself? It's good to see your return." She loathed small talk, but this was the second time both of them had talked to one another; in between those dates had been regular updated viral research highlights on Thyferra until he went radio silent. But again... something about him reminded her of someone. She just couldn't pin whom. Throughout the conversation, she kept her expression mild, with the faintest touch of a smile, however, every now and then her gaze flicked to the game.

If it weren't for the lounge, it would have almost been nostalgic. A Huttball game and a good drink.

Jack Seypka would clink his glass off of Orrells as he took a mouthful of it. His pale blue eyes flickering to the screen to see Blue team getting worked. Seems he bet on the wrong horse sort of speak. Regardless if the outcome did go south, Jack could live even if he lost a 20K credit bet. Wasn't the end of the world for the man but he did enjoy winning and rarely lost. Luck of the game. Taking another long drag of his cigarra as he felt a brief hand touch his custom black jacket. Shifting his gaze casually up.

Well, well, well. If it wasn't the CEO herself (@Killa Ree ). Out and about going around the town tonight in the cover of a ruse it seems. Couldn't blame her. Her face and popularity go hand in hand so Jack understood why she wore her getup. Her words were a tease as she slipped a chip into his front pocket before politely wandering off. Jack looked at her with his pale blue eyes focusing on her face. A slight, tiny smirk pursing in the corner of his lips.

He would give her a polite nod with his cigarra in his mouth as he took a drag of it and exhaled it as she left. Jack kept his eyes forward after her pat and looked over at the holoscreen. Tapping his cigarra in the tray. Orrell piped up a question to him as Jacks face remained neutral and relaxed. "People got to live outside of work." he said flatly with a coy smile. All Jack knew was business, he never dabbled outside of very often.

It was of great joy to him that none recognized him as much as the popularity would get him rather uncomfortable. He wasn't into kissing babies and shaking hands. All that foolish bullshit people would put a fake smile like a mask over themselves. He had to give those credit who enjoyed it. Wasn't his cup of tea. Glancing back over to the net he would take a mouthful of his whiskey before continuing his conversation with Orrell.

A slight muse on Jacks face with his cigarra hung in his mouth and whiskey in his hand. "Tell me Orrell, what would be the perfect way to relax if this isn't your style?" he asked teasingly but with a curious hint to it. Huttball wasn't for everyone that was most definitely certain. Jack was curious to know what enjoyment Orrell got out of life. All this talk of money, bets and hobbies made Jack think about his low key project of a Casino he was in the works of.

Watching the screen, Ali saw a few close ups of the players. The Blue team - Poffo's team - was made up of two humans and a Kel Dor. The other human was a massive man, must have been close to 7ft in height, with boulders for shoulders. Her friend Poffo wasn't exactly a small guy but the man they introduced as "Death" was bigger even than Mr. Macho. The Kel Dor, who had been introduced as "Krazy Kel", looked positively frightening. He was only half dressed which gave him quite a wild aura. Then of course, the cameras picked up Poffo, hot dogging and grandstanding as he always did. The Togruta just rolled her eyes. This was exactly the sort of environment the man lived off and she feared what it would do to his ego, especially if Blue Team won the game.

Red Team was composed of two Mandalorians, recognisable from their distinctive beskar, though the Togruta knew nothing of their warrior culture or significance of their armour. She liked it though, thinking that it made them look cool. It baffled the slave as to why then, their final member of the team looked like a spice junkie. He did not have the same striking amour as Anvil and Iron Man and generally reminded Ali of the type of men that she had hated interacting with on behalf of her former master Zugg. As the Hutt's favourite, he had always apologised when he asked her to speak with those type of men and entertain them, so he must have understood that his prized possession would not have an enjoyable or pleasant evening in their company.

Despite the impressive armour of the Mandalorians, Ali decided she wanted definitely wanted Blue team to win, even though it would make Poffo's boasting completely unbearable for the next millennium. The Hutt Ball game finally started and Ali watched as her Coruscanti acquaintance ran off down the centre of the field, eventually coming head to head with the addict-looking guy on the red team. Tearing her eyes away from the screen, Ali looked around the bar to check in on her surroundings. Down the other end, her green eyes located a familiar face; her mistress. She was in conversation with a droid (@Nor'baal ) but looked a little agitated. The Togruta had to assume it had something to do with the fact the clone had beer all down her front. Knowing her mistress, if the droid had been responsible it would most likely have been disassembled by now, but she did not seem to be directing anger in it's direction. Evidently, her mistress did not appear to have a drink in hand, perhaps because she was wearing the last one down her front. Her brow furrowed, wondering what exactly had happened.

Leaning across the bar, Ali waved over the nearest of the two Twi'lek servers and ordered a replacement beer for Aska. Once she had received it, the Togruta rose from her seat, collected the beer and her glass of water from the counter and made her way over to her mistress, squeezing through the packed bar area. When she arrived, she held out the ice cold beverage for Aska to take.

"I saw you didn't have a drink mistress, so I got one for y--" Ali said, stopping suddenly mid-sentence, "Mistress! You've chipped your tooth!" Her green eyes widened. What had happened here? Instinctively Ali reached out and grabbed either side of her mistress' face with her free hand, now sans beer, "Say 'Ahhh' so I can see."

Aska was entirely unable to suppress a chuckle as Emryc displayed his ever aloof demeanor, simply walking away from Soma as she prepared to ask him another question. ’Serves her right’ she thought to herself as she pressed her bottle back to her lips and polished off the remainder of what hadn’t spilled down the front of her jacket. Turning her attention to the game, Aska soon found another reason to smile as the blue team seemed to flail aimlessly in their efforts, only Poffo making any significant advances. It was only as Mr. Macho disappeared into the smokescreen that it dawned on Aska just who it was on the opposite side. She hadn’t caught his name on Mataou but his lean body and determined glare were hard to forget. ”Oh man! I swear if Poffo gets his ass handed to him by that little runt, I’ll never let him live it down!” she laughed as both men became fully shrouded while the Mandalorians soared through the air like the only true warriors on the field.

As Ali approached, Aska turned to face the Togrutan and flashed her a smile. The alcohol was starting to take hold and for a brief moment, she found she was able to let go of the frustration that was felt for being forced to wear her beer. It was a fleeting reprieve however as soon after Ali sat down, she latched on to Aska’s cheeks and informed her of a consequence she hadn’t noticed. Her words caught the human woman off guard, her eyes shooting open in disbelief.

”Excuse me?!” Aska blurted out, pulling Ali’s hands from her face and reaching across the counter for a chrome coated pitcher. Holding it up to her face, the clone took her left hand and lifted her upper lip to reveal her front teeth in the reflection and sure enough… ”Are you kidding me?!” she blurted out, slamming the pitcher down on the counter and grabbing her empty beer bottle, seeing the chunk of her incisor at the bottom. Infuriated, she scanned the bar for the reporter (@Scoobert ) as the fire stoked in her eyes once more and brighter than ever. To the nosy news girl’s fortune, the bar had grown increasingly crammed with huttball fans and while she was only just down the counter, she had evaded Aska’s furious and watchful eye.

”Some schutta news reporter pushed her way past me to interview Thorne and my bottle slammed into my mouth and spilled all over me! I swear to god, if I find her again…” Aska growled, not yet ceasing her search for Soma. If the girl was smart, she'd apologize before the life-long trained merc had to beat the apology from her. If she found her, that is.

Emryc’s silver eyes silently scanned Ilana while she spoke, a grin appearing on his face at her question.

“Brings out your eyes, and I certainly don’t mind seeing you out of your lab coat,” He stated before his eyes flicked down and then back up again along her person, “You can probably ditch the hoodie here, though,” He said with a casual wink before turning to the bar. Emryc ordered several shots as he heard the doctor speak. His demeanor was always a bit detached as was his default nature, even though he had a rather imposing presence.

“You’re making me a lot of money, so I do well if you do well,” He took the brightly colored round of shots and handed one to her, “What happens in here, stays here, eh?” He glanced over to Lucas (@Raydo), “Rinn, get over here, don’t be unsocial,” Emryc called out before tapping his shot glass on the bar and throwing it back.

The half Sephi glanced up at the screen, watching ‘his team’ stumbling over themselves in the arena. They looked like complete amateurs and he grimaced slightly as he watched the game. Disappointed, he ordered another round of shots. He cast a sideways glance at Ilana.

“You loosen up now and then, Miss Morata?” He asked with a grin.

Lucas wasn't having a bad time. The game was shit but it was still early. He took another wing from the plate that had been brought out. Sipping for his beer, he watched as another play was botched.

He heard his name, looking over to see Emryc waving him over to the bar. After a slight pause, he exhaled and forced himself to stand. He could have just stayed in his room if we were going to stick to himself. He grabbed his beer and made his way over to the bar.

He nodded his head in greeting to Emryc (@Sreeya) before turning towards the woman with who he was drinking with @Killa Ree . "Miss." he said with a slight bob of his head before pulling up a chair. "Hopefully you aren't losing too much money down there, Emryc." he said to Emryc, noticing to disappointed looks he was giving the halo screens.

"Next round is on me," he said the bartender as they passed by a moment later, more shots being brought out to the group a moment later.

An easy laugh escaped York in response to the Lord's joke about the walls on his home planet. York loved the city. There were any number of things that could kill you in the jungle, and that didn't interest York in the slightest. Besides, politics had enough predators as it was. He didn't need to add more to his life.

"No, I haven't unfortunately," York responded to the question about being to Onderon. "Though, I have to say that I have great respect for planets that have found a way to have a civilized society while allowing their planet to be what it naturally is. Kattada is similar in a sense. We have our resorts, our high-rise expensive hotels, but if we destroyed the natural beauty of our planet, that tourism wouldn't exist. We've struck a similar balance as Onderon...in that way." He copped a grin and said, "We just don't have a lot of indigenous animals that will tear your limbs off."

He put the cigar back between his teeth and took a peak at the game before turning his attention back to Lord Raxx. He leaned back easily and took a casual demeanor as he spoke through the teeth that held his cigar in place. "So, is that what you do? Get involved in the planetary politics as a Lord and kill things before they kill you? I'm not sure the politics wouldn't be more dangerous, hmm?"
