Emryc watched the performance by the Togruta, though his face usually lacked smiles. He was watching less for entertainment, and more for business opportunities. The choreography, especially on such short notice, was impeccable, and it was clear the woman was very talented. The half Sephi took quiet sips from his drink, glancing over to Aska. It was a lingering gaze that suggested he was wanting to get her attention. (@Tulos)

He clapped along with the others when the performance was done, turning to watch over the balcony as the game continued. When the goal was scored, Emryc roared in cheer again, tossing back one more shot and looking alive again. It was clear the game was the only way to rile him up - far beyond any flirting or exchanging pleasantries ever would.

Emryc turned to look at York with a grin, “Could I request that you allow your President to bum one of those fine cigars off you?” A score and violent outcome like that called for a celebratory cigar even if it was only half time.

The half Sephi glanced back over to the arena when the lights were dimmed and adjusted for the show. He had been expecting some random dance troupe or acrobatics, but what he saw left him visibly surprised. He quickly put the frosty face back on, bringing back that infamous poker face as he watched his lover steal the show and perform for thousands of people in attendance and trillions watching across the galaxy.

Emryc all but forgot about his surroundings, watching with that piercing gaze in complete silence for the entire duration of the show. In the end, he was President Thorne right now, and he wouldn’t break that character. His internal thoughts and opinions were wildly different.

He clapped politely with the others as the show ended, puffing on a cigar by then whether it was from York or one of his attendants. The half Sephi’s gaze lingered on the arena long after Morgan had left the stage.

The half Sephi was silent for a while, feeling a nice heavy buzz coming on. Emryc ordered himself a whiskey and turned to regard the Onderon Lord and York.

“All right you have my attention, Mr. Raxx,” He said, “What sort of deal are you looking to make? It needs to be something that benefits us both, as I’m sure you’ll understand. As President of the ISC, I have little need to hire security for myself.”

York watched the halftime show much like he would watch an opera or a symphony. His chin up, full attention and would clap three times as it was over. York much preferred more...cosmopolitan...types of performances, but he wasn't a prude. He could recognize good talent, and be quite satisfied with the show for its entertainment value.

“Could I request that you allow your President to bum one of those fine cigars off you?” Thorne asked of York.

York motioned for Travix to come over and the droid handed the cigar container to York. The Kattadan opened the case, took the one out he had used earlier for himself and offered Emryc his choice of the four that were left in the case. "My pleasure, Mr. President." They were high quality, thought not obscenely large. York didn't use cigars as a prop like many did who smoked. He genuinely enjoyed them as one of the finer things of high society. They were well-rolled with a golden band with SY branded on them- York's initials. Someone who noticed such details would soon see that these were not only expensive, but custom-made just for York.

The Kattadan governor leaned against the bar and listened to Thorne and this Lord of Onderon discuss business. Thorne clearly wanted a cut. He wanted to buy shares into this little business venture and was downplaying the idea of hiring them outright for special jobs. York wouldn't be so quick to dismiss that outright, but it was possible that Thorne was posturing. After all, hiring a paramilitary group that understood discretion would be a very viable option for jobs that needed to be done....off the ISC books so to speak.

York looked at Lord Raxx to see just how serious he was about lining up investors. He grinned as he looked at Mr. Macho on the screen who was getting a lot of galactic attention as the early favorite to win MVP of this game. York said, "You might want to make a deal fast. The cost to buy shares just went way up with that friend of yours showing out on holofeeds all over the galaxy." York leaned over and allowed Travix to light his cigar as he sucked in through the cigar to draw oxygen over the flame and get his cigar lit. He pointed to the Thorne so that Travix would offer him the light as well if it was necessary. "I'll be honest Lord Raxx....I'm interested to see if you haggle half as well as you say you hunt."

While Poffo showboated across every screen in not only the VIP lounge but the bar and indeed the galaxy as a whole, Aska gritted her teeth in silence as she moved to retrieve her jacket and pluck a cigarra from the pack concealed inside. Was she happy that Poffo was out there earning not only himself but their budding organization some clout for the future? More or less. Still, the five thousand she had riding on him eating dirt was slowly starting to fade away.

Watching Alisaah and her newly acquired partners appear on the stage, it dawned on the clone that despite this being central to her life before coming into Aska’s possession, she had not yet ever witnessed the woman in her element. She had danced on Zeltros but it wasn’t something the clone had seen as it was also the night she had been introduced to Thorne. It quickly became clear to her that even though the Togrutan’s servitude restricted much of her individuality and self reliance that she was able to express herself through dance. It was more than a simple skill set that she was forced to learn but a piece of who she was. For a moment, Aska was able to forget about the money she was set to lose and allowed herself to enjoy her friend’s talents. And enjoy them she did, albeit the music not being exactly something she’d listen to elsewhere. As the Togrutan finished her act and the lights faded away to allow the women off the stage, Aska placed two fingers in between her lips and let out a loud whistle that would cut across the murmur and cheering of the other patrons before catching Emryc maintaining a long stare in her direction.

After the half-time show wrapped up, another fantastic display of talent and dedication to their art, Aska moved towards the gathered group of the VIP lounge. Emryc clearly had something on his mind and with Klied pitching the future of his dream to the influential, she figured maybe it was time to join in. Coming up behind the couch at Klied’s right hand side, Aska propelled herself over the backrest and into the empty spot.

”You just know we’re never going to hear the end of Poffo’s gloating after this shit,” Aska unknowingly interrupted as she reached to the table for a shot and poured it back before lighting yet another cigarra. As her attention returned to the group, a handful of questioning stares turned her way. ”What?” she asked in a baffled manner, cigarra hanging from her lip.

So it was possible nosebleed section was far different in these reaches of the galaxy as noted by Amon's smirk and eventual chuckle. He directed her to follow as one of the teams scored and they were moving into half-time. The crowd seemed to grow more rowdy than prior, especially when some of the patrons realized they were losing credits to some extreme odds. As Amon cut a path, Tiamat kept close, the crowd filling the once empty space and closing their trail behind them like teeth on a zipper.

He took her out into the halls, making their way down several levels of the stadium until they were unable to go further. Tiamat did not think this was even a space just anyone could access, though as she watched him slip some credits to the guards, the redheaded Sith grinned. Things seemed to always go better planned when you had some credits to spare to others. Inside was different from the bar level above them, a bit more organized, not as chaotic as the one they had just left, though the closer they got to the doors, the more Tiamat saw where everyone was trying to get to. The lights from the arena shown above the heads and the young Sith's widened in awe, almost missing Amon's cue to follow as he found an opening.

When she realized how close to the field they were, there was a new sense of excitement that not just only came from the overall atmosphere. Amon welcomed her to the authentic Huttball experience. The woman grinned widely as she saw the performance stage and Morgan sung and performed with grand superstar finesse. She cheered with others as many swoon to his performance, never having seen Morgan in concert ever, she was instantly a fan.

Tiamat joined Amon at the railing, her eyes followed the dancers and the lights as they swarmed around Morgan. Amon checked to see if she was understanding why it was labelled the nosebleed section.

Tiamat nodded, "I think I like this version of a nosebleed section." she grinned. When the performance ended, the stage was quickly dissembled and the field was returned to play. A service droid rolled by and Tiamat picked up herself a drink as the players returned to the field. There were certainly smaller teams now, "Has there ever been a game were both teams were all incapacitated to where neither could continue playing before the game was over?" Tia asked.

It was a pleasure for Amon to watch Tiamat's expressions for the nosebleed section and what it presented. The grin that spread from her face was as wide as it could go and it was the exact same face he made when he had first gotten into a nosebleed section. It was what had made him fall in love with the sport and the sight of her took him down memory lane for a few seconds, all of the failed attempts he and his friends made before getting kicked until they finally succeeded.

The performance finished and everyone offered their round of applause for the performers as they started to clean up the field and move things out of the way for the upcoming game. The sound shook him from his thoughts and he managed to catch Tiamat's first impression of what she thought of the seats. Amon laughed softly, "And if we're really fortunate enough, we'll get some blood splatter on us." There wasn't anything like feeling the warm spray of a player's blood on your face to get you into the state of the game.

A service droid rolled by and as Tia picked up her drink from its tray, Amon put his finished one down and cracked open the other bottle that he had picked up from the bar. He thought to himself as she asked if there had ever been a team where they all had been incapacitated to play. His mouth opened to answer but then his head tilted slightly in the air, an answer coming to him from the recess of his mind. "Actually, yes." The thought made him chuckle and he pushed off the railing to walk over to one of the booths, easily stepping onto the cushion to elevate him before he sat down on the spine of it and rested his back against the wall. It provided a slightly elevated angle to view the field and was his usual spot. There was space next time for her to sit as well but the distance between them was still close enough that she would be able to hear him talk comfortably if she didn't want to.

"I think the player's name was Tiki. He wasn't good at fighting and especially huttball, which made a Hutt think it would be funny if he was thrown into one of the games." Amon laughed again as he thought about it, "Well, what made up for his fighting was his skills with poison" A sip of his drink came after his words before he continued, "When the other team and his entered on the field, it was only a few minutes before they started suffering some type of explosive shits. It was a quick forfeit or draw after that if I do recall."

Eventually, both teams filed out from their locker rooms in order to take their positions on the field and start the second half,. Amon glanced at the field and then to Tia before raising his bottle to her, "To exploding shits."

Klied kept his eyes down on his glass for the majority of the show, only occasionally looking up. Music was never something that interested him greatly. And frankly all the noise was more of an annoyance to him than anything else. After the show, it seemed President Thorne (@Sreeya ) was taking more interest in his little idea. Perhaps Poffo's performance had proven their worth to him. York (@Isen ) seemed intrigued as well, though he had already stated his disinterest before.

Before the Onderonian could reply Aska (@Tulos ) appeared, quite literally jumping into their conversation. Klied looked to the clone and smirked. "Just talking business." He explained before returning his attention to the president. "You might not need our services personally Mr. Thorne, but your alliance is still relatively small, and you've found yourself in a corner of the galaxy with some... disreputable neighbors." Klied didn't further explain given some of the people present on the ship. He didn't want to cause a scene. But it would be fairly obvious to Thorne he was talking about Hutt Space and the Five Syndicates. "So I say: if you're willing to offer us some generous tax concessions to build our headquarters on an ISC world, we'll act as a deniable asset operating just outside your borders. I already have the beginnings of a small fleet, a force that can hit targets and disappear quickly. I can harass pirate operations and ensure trade remains open and safe. And you won't need to worry about inadvertently starting a war by doing so yourself. We wouldn't require payment for these operations, we would simply keep whatever plunder we take. In addition, should the ISC government ever decide they have need of a PMC, you come to us first, and we'll consider your contracts at a heavily discounted rate."

Klied maintained a steady gaze with Thorne, patiently awaiting a response. He would keep a close eye out for any changes on the politician's face. He knew he was operating at something of a disadvantage here. Business was not his field of expertise. But he hoped such an offer would be enough to be welcomed into the ISC. Having the approval of the president would go a long way to helping his company grow quickly.

Blood spatter from your enemies during battle was one experience, but blood splatter from a huttball game, that sounded like gold in this realm. She seemed to cause Amon to pause and actually think of an incident to answer her question; she seemed more drawn into this curiosity than she had previously realized, waiting in anticipation and rewarded with a yes and the story to follow.

He made his way to the booths and away from the railing, and Tiamat followed, taking a seat next to him. Tia took a sip of her drink as he explained the story of Tiki and his team poisoning. A grin slowly formed as he started to conclude the story, her mind drifting to what one could only image that happened. The image of a rough and cut-throat team bend over with stomach cramps and the runs was something that sounded straight from middle school. However, the more Tiamat thought about it, the more memorable it became. Her attention turned to the holo-displays as the players returned to the field and the game resumed. Amon toasting and Tiamat tapped her glass against his, "To exploding shits." she grinned and took a drink as she watched the players, noting how empty the field looked.

"There really isn't a typical player, is there?" she asked, observing, "Everyone has their own way of playing, some more entertaining, others more focused..." Tiamat took a sip from her glass, watching for a moment as though she were working to confirm her theory. "I think I like the showy ones." she confirmed and winced at the one player who was now on fire.

Dhari felt a pang of regret as Tal/Nakadr explained. She didn't detect any lies in what he said. On the contrary, he seemed very honest about the meaning behind the moniker he had used. And she could understand the reasoning behind his choice. But he still lied, she reminded herself. She could give him her understanding, but she wouldn't offer up her sympathy entirely.

"I'm sorry about you and your friend - whatever happened between you," she said. And then she didn't know what more to say. She merely looked Nakadr/Tal in the eyes, held his gaze in a way that wasn't malicious, wasn't compassionate. It was neutral - but even neutrality held space for the other.

A moment later, she sighed. "Much as I liked Nakadr, I believe that friends should call each other by their true names. Not that we're friends-" she interjected, raising a finger at Tal "- but seeing as we'll have to work together, I want us to go by Dhari and Tal - if that is your real name, of course." She winked at Tal. "In any case: no more lies, alright?"

Ramail sipped the tea for a moment, inhaling the steam, letting the warmth cool her blood. She seemed to relax a little. It was but a moment, though. She sat the tea down, crossed her arms. She had given Skjorn heat about his aruetii waist hold, as he put it. Perhaps more than what was called for. But there was such a thing as personal space, and although they had undertaken a mission together, she didn't know him well enough to know what was meant in earnest and what was a joke. And when it came to unwanted advances, she usually deferred to the former. She had experienced her share of unwanted aruetii waist holds by beings that sought to insert themselves into situations where they weren't welcome.

"Joke or not, if you do that again there'll be hell to pay," she said. "But because you're such a jare'la, I'll let this one slide." She smirked, releasing some of the tension of the situation by ordering a mug of ne'tra'gal for them both. "Something a little milder, eh? A glass of 'fresh start'?"

She sipped the fruit tea. "Maybe a clan war wouldn't be such a bad thing. The clans have been complacent for too long. If a war is what it takes to make the majority of us join forces, then maybe that's the way to go?"

Emryc’s attention was fixed momentarily on Aska. Very seldom did his face reveal anything, but any observer would pick up at once that the woman had a measure of focus from the half Sephi that most didn’t. He looked back at Raxx when he spoke, drawing from the cigar and occasionally taking sips of whiskey.

“So you wish to work within ISC space to set up operations favorable to your relatively small company,” He said quietly after the man had finished, “Keep everything off the record and go after targets and plunder you quite frankly would go after anyway. If you operate in the realm of being a deniable asset, you partake in activities that could only end up tarnishing the ISC’s image. You effectively gain the means to blackmail me.”

His face remained blank as he spoke, taking another sip from his whiskey, “This sounds like a deal that’s a win/win for you and only you,” Emryc didn’t look angry or displeased however. He turned his head away to blow out the cigar smoke. Emryc looked instead to Aska, catching her right as she was in the middle of tossing back a drink.

“And as an asset that’s a part of this business venture, what are your thoughts on this, Ms. Ryun?” It was clear that even while he was looking at the Togrutan, he had been listening to Raxx enough to catch Aska’s full name.

As Klied continued to elaborate on his future plans and dreams to Thorne, Aska quietly slunk back into her seat as the realisation that perhaps she was more out of her element here than she anticipated began to dawn on her. It was Zeltros all over again, short the damn dress and heels... Maybe it wasn’t so bad after all.

Shrugging, Aska turned her attention back to the monitor in time to see Poffo unleash a torrent of flames on the back of the player he had already placed in intensive care. As the fires grew, as did her frustration with the match. The Mandalorians were nowhere to be seen, Poffo was getting arrogant and now the Sith who had somehow managed to whip himself in the chest was running for the ball. Those credits seemed to be as good as gone…

Still, Aska managed to keep a curious ear on the conversation between Thorne and Klied. His offer seemed sound to her, not being one to have such conversations offered her an ignorance on the matter. Yet as Emryc turned things around on the Onderonian and then proceeded to fixate his next question on Aska as she reached for another shot glass, the clone found herself caught off guard.

”Me?” Aska responded with a befuddled look. This wasn’t her forte and she definitely wasn’t one for negotiations. ”I’m not brave enough for the business world, Thorne,” she finally responded, forcing a smirk to at least feign a confidence she most certainly did not harbor. ”From my experience, it’s a lot safer being in front of someone’s blaster barrel than being the one behind a desk. All I have to do is search up a few holonet recordings to know you can probably agree with that,” With a quick laugh, the woman would half raise her glass to the President before pouring it back and slamming it down on the already cracked table.

”Still,” Pausing to ash her cigarra, the clone glanced back to the screens to watch as Poffo continued to showboat his way around the ring. Rolling her eyes, she turned back to the conversation. She needed to contribute something... ”There’s been some rumours circulating around the rim that you and your council are considering forming a fighting force of your own? I won’t speak for the others but if you were willing to scratch our backs, I could return the favor by offering my services in overseeing the training of some of your recruits. We get our tax breaks and in exchange, you have an honest and honorable mercenary company not only patrolling your borders without the judgement of the rest of the galaxy but also a combat experienced freelance instructor making sure that anyone who does set foot on your front steps gets more than they bargained for,” As she spoke, Aska’s demeanor shifted from flustered and out of her realm to hyper focused. Offering Klied a quick side glance so as to say ‘Trust me,’ she then returned her attention to Emryc. Leaning towards the tray of shots, she slid one towards the President with a confident smirk as she picked another up for herself. ”Unless those are all just rumors, of course. You can’t really trust the word of the Hutts,”

Klied nodded to Thorne's (@Sreeya ) negative reply, though not taking offense to it. He understood the man's reasoning. He had thought the idea of a supplemental defense force he wouldn't need to pay for would be alluring to the president, but it seemed the man's political mind had immediately led him to believe the Onderonian had the worst intentions for doing so. "Oh I assure you Mr. Thorne I have no intentions of blackmailing anyone, least of all you." He quickly replied, feeling a bit embarrassed for giving such an implication. Thankfully Aska (@Tulos ) was able to cut in and offer him support. He remained quiet while she spoke, laughing with her to try and keep the mood light. He was somewhat worried that if she offered her services as an instructor to the ISC it would severely limit her ability to work as a mercenary. Much of her time would be dedicated to training. But if she was confident she could pull off such a thing he wouldn't contradict her. When the clone finished speaking he would look back to the president and continue with his own response.

"What I mean is I don't have to go after these targets," He tried to better explain his point. "I could set up my company anywhere. But if I do set up within the ISC I will focus my efforts against criminal elements that threaten the ISC. By having an independent company deal with issues like piracy and slavers, it will free up your own planetary militias... and whatever other forces you may or may not be organizing, to focus on more important matters. If you think doing this under the table risks tarnishing your reputation, it could as easily be done above board, with my forces protecting ISC trade routes with your blessing. I only offered a more discreet arrangement because such a public partnership might draw the ire of those neighbors of yours, and spur them to unite against you. That isn't a certainty by any means, but it is a possibility." He shrugged. "Of course, if neither arrangement sounds preferable to you we can work something else out. The group I have is very diverse in it's area of expertise. There are many capacities in which we could provide support to your own military forces. If there are any areas you think you are lacking we can help you fill those gaps. And cheaply."

Military contracts could supply a steady and reliable stream of income if they could secure them. While Klied would have liked to keep his company more independent and flexible, able to go wherever they needed when they needed, he was willing to pay his dues so to speak if that's what was necessary to get off the ground. Of course, all this depended on whether or not Thorne was interested in working with them at all. It seemed Klied had inadvertently gotten them off to a rough start with his initial offer.

Their two bottles clinked soundly before both of them took a sip from their drink. Amon leaned his head back against the wall and turning it into a comfortable rest for him. The field began to become active and his eyes drifted to the players, watching them perform blocks and get in straight-up fights. At this point, his fantasy for this week was done for. There would need to be adjustments made in the future but the game drew him in and eased the burden of the credits that he had lost today.

Tia commented on who her favorite player type was and he gave a nod, "And they like you." His gaze went to the player that most likely caught her attention as the man practically tore apart anyone that stood in front of him. "The more fans he makes, the more credits he gets to collect at the end." Amon took another sip of his drink before continuing, "I prefer the more efficient players. They get me my credits." He threw a shrug at the end of his words with a chuckle as well.

The game was commencing at a steady pace and it would only be so long before one team started to break ahead of the other. Amon exhaled slowly, drinking in the chaos that spread throughout the stadium and how he remembered it used to be a part of him. It would be a moment before he likely could ever return to a game and just enjoy it as peacefully as he was.

Tal shrugged at her words. "It's ancient history.. and if I had a few more drinks, I'm sure I would be more willing to talk about it." he'd say with a laugh. And though she was unsure what to do or say, he was more than content just staring right back into those eyes. When she spoke again, he'd take a quick sip from his glass, nodding.

"Ooh, my wounded heart."
he'd say with a feigned look of pain. "Not even friends... You can call me my name as long as we aren't in rival territory or I am not in the black beskar. Sometimes I run ops that I don't want to be known for, yeah? And we can just leave it at that. My little base, we can talk in more detail. But I agree, no more lying. And if I ever don't tell you in the moment, it's because its only for your ears, okay?"

Skjorn smirked at Ramail. "Oh, of that I have no doubt, though.. I'm not sure I would ever consider Netra'gal 'fresh', least not in a place like this." he said with a laugh. He'd then take the mug and clink it against hers before taking a sip from his mug and setting it back down on the bar.

"I think Concord Dawn will be enough of a Clan war as you'll want.. but.. if we were to wipe out a few Clans and get the ball rolling.."
he'd pause as he turned his mug a bit. ".. Your Clan.. they've been a little.. reserved.. Is it the leadership? Or the Clan as a whole? Tell me about them. Your other kin."

”I guess I can live with that,” Dhari said. She met his gaze, wondering not for the first time exactly what went on behind those dark eyes. Much as she was drawn to the man, she knew that she would never fully know who he was. Just like he would never fully know her. It didn’t matter, really. The Galaxy was apathetic enough that genuine connection, even if it wasn’t wholly candid, was worth grasping for.

She leaned back against the booth, limbs less tense than before. “What’s with this base of yours?” she said. “Sounds like you’ve been busy since Nimban. And not in the searching-for-scrap-metal-to-sell-for-ship-repairs kind of way that I was.” She stopped herself from adding because of you, but the strained smile on her face implied it nonetheless.

Ramail was silent for a moment.“They’ve become reclusive. I never questioned it until recently. My alor is a-“ she paused, searching for the right word,“- careful man.”She gazed knowingly at Skjorn. “Not one for causes.”

She cupped the tea with one hand, eyes observing the rising steam. “We’re no more than a handful of families at this point,” she said, scratching at an itchy spot on her neck. “All living in the same abandoned mining facility out there-“ she gestured at the ceiling “- I mean, that shit siphons your energy, you know? Makes you lose sight of anything but survival. But we used to be proud warriors. Fighting for the Wrens under the House Kryze banner.” Her gaze drifted to Skjorn. “But that’s ancient history.”

Those eyes would hold hers as she spoke, the gaze never breaking until he took a sip. "I actually got the base before the Crevasse. So.. I'm making my own outfit, separate from the Syndicate, for ops I don't think the Five can handle. The overall direction is undecided." He would laugh at her insinuation. "I would never cause damage to your ship. Besides, if I recall correctly, you came out just fine after that."

Tal would drain his glass before leaning back into the comfy chair. "Which br-" he'd catch himself and look over at her, that grin returning. "We can talk at my base. I'll send you the coords after this. For once, I just want to enjoy some normalcy and allow myself to enjoy the comforts of your company." he'd refill his glass and set the bottle down, only to reach over and set his hand atop of hers. It was direct and there was all sorts of things they would need to work out, but for now, he just wanted something simple. He'd give her hand a firm yet gentle squeeze. "I'm happy you showed up, Dhari, really."

Skjorn would listen to her talk, his gaze focused on her. "You can say, coward. No need to be tactful with me. You know I have already made my mind up about the man. You and your Clan deserve better.. he's unwittingly stripped you of your Mandalorian pride.. Now it may not be all his fault.. but he learned it from someone, and he dragged you lot down with him."

Skjorn would drain his glass of netra'gal. "Mmmm.. Wrens and Kryze's, eh?" he teased. "Kriff, guess that means we're enemies." he'd say with a grin and a playful tone. "We're ancient enemies of them.. and Death Watch.. But.. Srucayr somehow got the Wrens to answer his call.." his gaze would shift from her to where Srucayr sat. "Honestly.. don't worry about ancient ties.. and as for your Clan? We're going to do so much osik, that you'll be able to challenge your Alor for leadership.. or, at least give your word enough actions to carry weight. We can rectify your Clan."

After some time of sitting in his seat, Srucayr would rise to his feet, pulling his harness with him as he did so. Fastening the harness, the ancient beskar would make its way to the bar, his winged helm, clipped to his belt. He'd lean against the bar beside a young man ( @Newton Arden ) and flag down one of the servers. "Tisane, chilled." He would then set a stack a credits on the bartop and slide them across as payment as he waited for his drink.

His gaze would shift and fall on the patron nearby. "Enjoying the game?" he'd ask. At this distance, Newton could see the graying hairs in the warriors dreds and beard, the former pulled back and tied tightly. Thick scars decorated his face and neck and if the young executive bothered to look closer, he'd see that they were actually carvings, self inflicted carvings instead of tattoos.
