So, all of that old discussion is idle banter that strayed from the topic, but I'd alike to ask about something relevant to this announcement.

Due to Ender's and John's fighter here, is this deal of planets still going through? Or what are they fighting over?

That deal is nothing new. The Alliance offered that to Phil's Mandalore and, unless either of the two sides have abolished that treaty, the offer still stands. All Johnny was doing was acting on what was previously decided.

Just need to actually get it going imo. Mandalorians seem to be the most stagnant faction. We gotta get off our tails and get crackin'.

Whether the deal is done, or we go with something else, doesn't matter much to me. Something needs to happen.

Hopefully you won't have to worry about this for too long. After Ender wins the duel between himself and Johnny, him and I are planning on putting this faction into overdrive fairly quickly. We've got big game plans and small game plans galore.

Good to know. I'll be as active as possible to keep it going. I have the feeling were going to need quite a bit of work around here.

Plus you won't have to deal with me, Corden or Qed anymore!

I'm down to make a Mando, but I'm confused as to what's happening. PM me when it's not confusing, or if you think you can explain it, and I'll write something up.

The mando leadership, Ender, myself and Blue are working hard to get this faction back on it's feet, we have a few things we are fixing and hopefully soon we can kick things into high gear.

IC, Mandalorians have been plagued with what some view as inept leadership and not just once, but repeatedly. Leaders have been challenged, some replaced, but problems continue to arise and many Mandalorians have come to resent the current state of things, especially the vicious cycle that seems to have formed. However, not everyone shares that belief. Some have supported each Mand'alor without hesitation, regardless of their decisions or how they may or may not affect the Mandalorian people. So, as a result, a Second Mandalorian Civil War is on the horizon. One group, led by influential leaders such as Apollo of Clan Ordo and Corden of Clan Vencu, wishes to bring the Mandalorians back into an era of honor and glory where the Mandalorians will once again be forged into the galaxy's most skilled and fearsome fighting force. The other group believes in change, but tends to lean more toward a centralized government rather than the loose association of clans that have always governed the Mandalorians in the past, with Mand'alor as more of a monarch. Some of them believe that honor is not nearly as important as it once was... so essentially, there's two distinct sides, both Mandalorian in one way or another, but both with unique outlooks on how Mandalorians should live and behave.

Interesting and sounds like something I'd prefer to participate in rather than after the fact... good motivation to create a character destined to plunge into that chaos hehe. I like conflict-driven plots.

It seems like this schism has always been part of Mandalorian culture after the defeat of the Neo-Crusaders.

Funny how that works.

Alarann will gladly partake in a civil war. For the side of the purists no doubt.

So, rather then working together to build the faction up, the plan is to tear it apart through infighting and civil war...?

I'm glad I'm not Mandalorian, I'd be bloody pissed.

It's the Mandalorian way. :CHappy

It may be the mandalorian way, but I wouldn't say that is always have to be the mandalorian way, it would right now be better to work together. But that is just my opinion, and regarding this civil war. I will try and stay out of it.

Now you know how stupid I think the whole thing is.

Makes me just wish the Mandalorians would just... die sometimes.

I'm almost tempted to let them all kill one another and join another side.

I know. Only kidding.

In all seriousness, I understand where Corden is coming from. However, I do agree civil war is only driving our faction apart while the others are strengthening. On top of that we have very limited resources and only a small holding of territories.

Now really isn't the time for a civil war if you're looking for the best interest of the Mando'ade. New management? Maybe. A shifting of priorities? Sure. But dividing us isn't going to do much.

It's not even a full Civil war though. It's a small minority who think they are Hardcore Mandalorians and since they can't get their way, they leave and want to wage war on the greater majority. We don't need another leadership change after this dual, as no telling if Johnny will even lose or not. If he does lose, then I'm gonna prolly just rage quit the Mandalorians if someone goes to Ender and challenges for leadership for a piss poor reason.

It's just unneeded. It'd be like if some Jedi Masters thought the new way of the Jedi was poor and wanted to go back to how it was in the Old Republic and they decided to make the "Old Jedi Order" that would wage war on the current Jedi Order. It's filler... no, it's a useless distraction.
