The relaxed sounds of a forest on Phindar are unlike anything one would have heard before. Most people would post Phindar as an industrial, smoky, steamy planet, if they had stayed in the confines of Laressa, the capital city. However, in a completely different part of the planet, reigns a much more silent and calm region, where Frolik Uhura and two other Republic(or ex-republic) soldiers are about to disrupt the calmness.

The Sergeant had only got word two days before that he was assigned to a small fireteam of three, to take back stolen Republic battle plans and strategies. If the Hutt naval commanders got ahold of these plans before the team recovered them, the Republic would suffer in future battles.

"So I suppose this is what we're up against," he said lazily. Sitting up from his slouched posistion, he pulled a small hologram-displayer out of his utility belt, and tapped an orange button on the side. A hologram of a small bunker and some numbers and details showed up in the image.

"These are the only schematics we have of the place, and they are old, so we'll have
to make do. Now, we are.. here," he pointed to a small grove of bushes on the
holographic map, indicating where they were. Three blinking dots showed up on the place he pointed.

"Our speeder bikes are stashed here. Now, for the bunker .. there is one main corridor at the entrance, and two smaller corridors leading off of the sides; the main computer room is straight down the main corridor. These schematics indicate there is some sort of alarm system at the crosspoint of the two other corridors, so depending on how we do this, we'll have to be careful. There are also may be some small turrets in the room."
While explaining the turrets, the supposed positions of them blinked red on the schematic.

" There is a small hatch in the corner of the computer room, we can escape through there."
The corner of the main room flashed on the holographic schematic.

"Basically, all we need to do is get in, get past the alarms, shoot whoever is in there(or, perhaps, take them captive), download the shtuff and blow up the
computers, then get out."

After this long explanation, he took a long breath.
"Doesn't sound too hard, huh?" he added at the end, while locking in a power pack for his rifle.

Going into this mission, Captain Billy Ray Gamble knew that he was only going to be playing a role; not commanding the unit. In fact, that was partially why he had volunteered for it. In his mind, it was important for an officer to every now and again put themselves in the place of the enlisted just to give himself a good perspective of what his men went through. This would be one of those days; one of those missions. He was actually looking forward to it.

Looking over the display of their target area, Gamble wondered to himself if they had anyone skilled enough in slicing to crack the program for those turrets, and have them target those within instead. Heh, it would cut out a lot of work for them. Too bad he himself wasn't any good at such things. Krath, he had a hard enough time keeping up with the required password changes that required upper and lower case letters, numbers, AND symbols. On top of that, some of the systems required a change every 90 days, while others would lock you out if you didn't log on at least every 30 days. Such a hassle...

Pointing towards the turrets with a waggling finger that went from one to the other, Gamble made his inquiry, "So either of you skilled enough t'hack their security system an' have those turrets lock in on their own folks or... mebbe just have them target everything for a few minutes, shut 'em off an' let us go in?" He highly doubted it. For whatever reasons, most hackers weren't typically solid Commandos or Soldier-type folks. The world of the hacker was just one that Billy didn't quite understand. Not by a longshot.

While so far there hadn't been a back-up plan briefed, or even an alternate escape route, Gamble would hold-off on bringing this up to the Sergeant's attention, just in case he simply hadn't gotten to that part yet. No point in briefing the entirety of the mission all at once without pausing for inquiries and clarifications. NOBODY could retain -all- of that, heh. Shoot, Billy had been in mission briefings that had lasted -hours-. Shaking his head lightly, he was most certainly glad that this one wasn't like that, heh.

"Well, cat - I'll call you cat, it's easy to remember - according to the schematics, all of the controls for security and turrets and things're in the room off of the left corridor connected to the main one. We should go in there first, shut down whatever kind of jazz is in the computer room, then go in."

He looked over at the other man who was in the fireteam.

"Spec - spect.. what's your name? I'll call you dog; dog and cat. Now, dog, will you be able to get us through the front door? There are supposed to be forcefields on both sides."

"Ah, and as for an alternate escape route.. well, anybody have a laser cutter?"
He smirked behind the visor.

"I'm just kidding. There are sewer lines going right under the bunker, and a hatch leading down to them in the right room off of the main corridor. It may not be the most luxurious option, but if things go bad, we can escape through there. There is an exit leading up to the surface about half a mile from where our speeders are stashed, so it should work fine."

"Now, there is a Hutt ship on the way right now to pick up the plans they've got in that bunker, so we need to move. You all ready?"

It was just another regular day for Silva she finished putting on her red lip stick, puckering her lips,as she slid the lipstick back into her black leather top that shown the belly button, today she was sitting inside a bunker she was told to protect but she knew not why.

The room she paced back and forth in switching her hips to the fullest, had all types of controls left, right,up,down numerous recruits stood guard outside,as her eyes glanced over at the turret systems, she sighed folding her arms keeping her eyes darted to the camera to her left.

''wheres the Action?,Im hot''She reached down pulling out her medium sized black fan which held four knives on the tips, she moved her wrist back and forth fanning her face.

((ooc: sorry for the delay. busy week what with finals and all.))

Specter had a bad feeling about this mission. For an infiltration mission the team leader seemed to be taking things too lightly. Hopefully, things went well, an old buddy of his had gone out on a limb to get him this job and he didn't want to kriff it up. Having left his Longshot at the bikes he had decided to bring along a few more grenades and LTL ammo for his SC20k. While he had been listening he'd also been taking the chance to check his weapons and grenades. His armor weave duster was laid flat on the ground, revealing several pouches which he was going through to make sure the grenades were secure. Finally finished he affixed the shotgun attachment to his rifle and put his duster back on.

"It's Specter, sir." With a nod to the other team member Specter continues. "Depending on how the force field is setup we could spike the controls, I usually carry a few, which may shut down the field temporarily. At that point I can use the Det Tape I brought along to cut through the door. However, between the spike and the Det Tape anyone inside is going to know we're coming and we'll lose the element of surprise. That's if they don't already have monitoring devices setup at the front door."

Taking a moment to study the plans again Specter taps the sewer line. "Can we infiltrate through the sewer line as well as exfiltrate? Going through the front door is generally a bad idea, since most of the defenses are focused that way. If we do take the sewer route we'll have an advantage, my helmet has EM and thermal imaging, so I'll be able to see any sensors. That's assuming they bothered to setup anything down there."

(I hope the "As the team moved closer to the bunker" part isn't metagaming or anything, I just wanted to move it along instead of trying to hassle the others to make a few more posts about just getting up and moving)

"Well, Specter, that may just be the best idea. However, we'll have to make our own entrance from the surface, and we don't have the time for that. The schematics show that the pipes are quite deep, and it'd take quite a while to make a homemade entrance, so it looks like the front doors are our only option. There also aren't any manholes around here, that I can see."

The Sergeant geared up and strapped his utility belt on, with all of the important small stuff like cables and some grenades, and nodded to the two men to move forward.

----------

As the team moved closer to the bunker, they were close enough to see what they were up against. Frolik signaled for the trio to halt. He flipped his viewfinder down over his helmet, and kneeled down to scan the area.

"Four or five guards outside... nothing much else, no turrets. We should be able to knock them out with smoke grenades, without making too much of a ruckus."

He unclipped two smoke grenades from his utility belt, one for himself, and one for Billy, since he was unsure if he had any or not, then tossed it to Billy. Then he whispered to them to get ready to run to the door as soon as the guards were knocked out.
"On three,

one,
two,
three!"
He yanked the pin off and threw it down near the guards, then hid back behind the tree.

"Well-met Specter," Gamble said as he turned towards the third of their party. Extending a hand, he went on, "Name's Gamble." With that, he gave the ol' evil eye to the Sergeant who seemed to think that this mission was some sort of joke. When blaster bolts went flying and people went dying, it was no laughing matter. On top of that, this NCO seemed intent on pushing his way through this op without really taking any advice or recommendations from anyone else.

Quite honestly, Billy had liked Specter's idea. Sure, the sewers were filthy and disease-ridden, but -nobody- wanted to crawl through that. NOBODY. Yet for the element of surprise that could potentially save lives, the inconvenience of it was worth it. Better alive and smelling like shet; than dead and smelling like roses. Hey, that'd make a good bumper-sticker, the player behind the character Billy Ray Gamble thought to himself as he typed away on this forum.

Before Gamble could tell the Sergeant that smoke grenades didn't 'knock people out', the NCO had already pulled the pin on his and thrown it, ducking behind a tree for cover. It was too late now for anything stealthy!! This was about to be an all out three-man assault!! Ridiculous odds. Billy should've just turned tail -now- and got out of this mess while he was still alive. Commando policy was to have three to one odds whenever you did an assault. Not three Commandos to ONE Entire Frakkin' Outpost!!

While the Sergeant took cover from the smoke grenade, Gamble threw his as well, moving forward quickly as he tried to keep to what tree cover he could as he drew his twin krayt dragon pearl-handled blasters. Thankfully for them, he was the fastest draw in SOLAG, and his aim was pretty deadly t'boot. Before the smoke had even really fully deployed itself, Billy had already taken down the four guards he had seen. Hopefully if there were any others, Specter would take 'em down from his position.

Slamming up against a tree with his shoulder, blaster pistols held before him, Gamble looked back to see if the other two had moved yet. If they hadn't, he would call out 'COVERING FIRE', take a knee just beside the tree he was behind, and just start firing at whatever he saw fit, the idea being to keep the enemy's head down while his comrades came up on line to join him. Yup, so much for stealth and the element of surprise. They'd just blown their load up front with these dang smoke grenades. If that weren't a visible signal of something gone wrong...

Her eyes turned hard to the screen on her left,It was foggy and she could not see,She quickly held a button down on her watch and spoke into it,''Alert,Alert,Calling all guards!''She reached down and pulled out both her blaster pistols,She ran down the hall avoiding some men running down the halls.

''Okay, mother ****ers I can play too''She climbed the ladder heading up towards the roof, she jumped as she got to the last bar,she stood up on the roof looking down at the entrance, she noticed it looked like smoke from smoke bombs. She leaned off the edge of the roof, and not seeing anyone began to shot both her blaster pistols rapidly down towards the front gate,.

''COME ON BITCHES TASTE MY HEAT''!!She then Chartwheeled to the side, rolling down towards the ground,.

"The chemicals would've knocked them out soon enough!"

Frolik looked at the four steaming bodies, still fresh with blaster wounds, and the other two guards, still wobbly as the chemicals from the grenade took effect. They staggered all over the place like drunken fools. Then, they came together like two trains and their heads clunked each other's, and they fell down, KO'd.

The Sergeant sighed. Somehow, for some reason, Cat fired on the guards instead of letting the chemicals take effect.

Now the soldiers inside - if any at all - had definitely heard those shots, and they'd be coming out soon enough. Then the team would have a real firefight on their hands.

"We need to worry about the soldiers in that bunker."
He took a deep breath, then noticed somebody was on theroof..

Some strange woman came up onto the roof, shooting wildly everywhere! Frolik drew his slugthrower and pulled the hammer back with his thumb, but realized the woman didn't know where they were, and was just shooting everywhere and nowhere,
"She doesn't know where we are, s-"

Before he could say anything, ten guards ran out of the bunker, firing into the trees where the team was. On top of this, there was a mad woman on the roof blasting everywhere, almost hitting her own men.

"We'll blame later, blast them!"
Bolts hit everywhere as the Sergeant peeked around the tree and unslung a load of slugthrower rounds at the woman as she cartwheeled around the roof, hoping they would hit her mid-cartwheel. He realized she must've been the commanding officer of the bunker. Then he grabbed his rifle and blasted out three shots, one for each guard that fell from them.

Seven of them remained, plus the woman.

"Billy, if we ever needed some fancy shooting, it is now!"

As she did the Chartwheels,a round of shots came her way,She just missed the shots, rolling onto the ground on top of the roof she quickly stood back up leaning down just a little to avoid in coming shots,.'Okay, bitches now its time to play''.

She ran towards the shaft she came up jumped back down, rolling as she hit the ground then flipping her body forward. She quickly ran through the hall into the armory room, she looked up and finally found what she had been looking for,Her Blaster heat Seeking sniper rifle,And her Two Knive fans,She slid he fans on her belt,She ripped off her shirt, throwing the pieces onto the floor she took the rifle in her right hand.she ran back out the room back to the ladder climbing up again, this time she yelled for all ears to hear.

''TASTE THIS BITCHES!!!!!!!!!'' she flicked the heat seeker on her sniper rifle she put the scope to her eye, her left hand index finger on the trigger, she seen alot of dead bodies down there and a few people near the tree's,she seen one person in her sites behind a tree, she target him or her,As she began to shot at the target rapidly as the blaster shots would pierce through the trees.

((ooc: long post, trying to catch up with everyone else. while I applaud your characters sense of style Raxus (lol) I think it was a bad idea.))

Shaking Gamble's hand Specter added his own patented stink eye to Gamble's evil eye. Whoever's bright idea it was to send a regular army grunt on a special op was going to get a talking to later. Not only was this poor Sergeant way out of his league, intel also did a fairly sloppy job supplying him with adequate information on the bunker. In his own personal opinion, the lack of proper information could properly be solved with a kinetic strike from orbit from a cap ship. Well, as usual it was not up to the grunts to question why, only to do what they were told.

The hike to the bunker itself was uneventful, but upon reaching the bunker itself it was quickly determined that they would not be getting in through the front door without some kind of confrontation. Belly crawling to a nearby bush Specter activated his magnification function on his helmet to survey the situation. Seeing the handful of guards outside the bunker he briefly considered going back for his Longshot, but the Sergeant soon took the matter out of his hands. With a horrified expression hidden behind his helmet, Specter watched as he tossed a grenade to Gamble and proposed to knock them out with smoke grenades. Without giving anyone a chance to object he promptly threw the second grenade he had in his hand.

Luckily, Gamble had fast reactions and responded well. Firing before the smoke could obscure his vision he was able to drop four tangos with little trouble, while the remaining two became disoriented and collapsed on their own. Seeing that the situation was under control Specter took the chance to switch his shotgun attachment for his 40mm grenade launcher attachment. Since their presence was revealed the launcher would be more useful in an open engagement. He also tapped in a quick sequence of keys on his data pad, causing his armor to shift colors into a woodland camo style, while it wouldn't make him invisible it would make him hard to spot if he held his fire.

Apparently the bunker had monitoring equipment at the entrance, because soon additional forces exited the bunker and what appeared to be their commander revealed herself on the roof. The commander seemed to be an odd bird, she was cartwheeling and flipping all over the place. Whether it was to boost her troops morale or make her harder to hit all it really did was make it impossible for her to hit anything. As the troops charged out of the bunker both the Sergeant and Gamble opened up. It was a slaughter, as they came out they were all bunched up making it almost impossible to miss, the Sergeant took down at least 3 on his own and Gamble a few more. Specter decided to fire a fragmentation grenade into the mix; taking into consideration drop he fired off his grenade launcher, aiming to hit the inside of the bunker to catch any remaining guards.

While this was going on the commander had disappeared. Having gone back to re-arm she appeared back on top of the roof. As she yelled out Specter took notice of her again, the large sniper rifle she was carrying, and... wait! why was she topless?! Completely baffled at the bunker's commander Specter is momentarily stunned, but when she opens fire on Gambles position he quickly shakes it off. Having his heat masking under suit on and having only fired a single grenade it would be safe to assume she was completely unaware of his presence. However, it was a moot point, standing on top of the bunker she was an easy target for his SC20k. Sighting down his rifle's reflex sight he opened fire with a long burst of fully automatic fire, her position combined with his hidden presence would almost guarantee that his hail of bullets would rip through her, now naked, torso.

*If the unarmored and shirtless commander some how miraculously survives*

Following his hail of fire Specter shouts out in warning to his team mates, "SNIPER!". Reloading his rifle he continues to pour fire at the sniper to keep her head down. Firing short bursts every once in a while would insure his team mates would be safe from sniper fire.

She took her aim carefully as she fired rapidly,Her shirt became wet with sweat As she still fired at nothing a recruit came running up in front of her He probably Came up the Latch to the ladder but she did not see truly where he came from, he fired off the roof shooting through the trees as she Was blocked form shooting anyone''Out my Way!''She yelled to the recruit''No Orders are to protect you and the Weapon''He yelled back still shooting'',Until Blaster shots starting piercing his chest as he flipped backwards His Death saved her life,She rolled backwards Out of fire range she Had to be smart ''Come on Bitch lets Give them Some head''.

She tore Off the Rest of her clothes now wearing A black bikini,Black Panties,Two Back Gun holsters on her hips, and no shoesafter she untied them quickly. She noticed the bunker smoking rapid fire was shot everywhere It was Crazy, she climbed back down into the bunker,She stopped A recruit As he ran past her she looked Him in the Eye Hard as he looked her up and down.

''Call In Alpha Omega 654 squad Delta X,Their Are special weapons,he nodded As he ran Off Glancing Back at her,She switched Down the hall as wires bursts, small flames started, and a few water holes she made it to the main room, she stared around all the screens where blurry and blank, she sighed reaching down grabbing her blasters, she was ready, ready for hell.

She pressed A switch on the wall beside her,the floor began to shake,And shake until the floor began to come up what was revealed was A Special Weapon it wasn't that big,but looks can be deceiving, she walked over first sliding her blasters back into her holsters, then taking the weapon in her hands.she aimed It down the hall, its sonic energy was created to destroy any Blaster material Within 6000 feet sending a wave of Energy in range It only destroys Weapon material not People,She then pulled the trigger A white Aura could be seen flying down the halls as it would surely Take out all weapon's Even her own men's Weapons,Instead Of a gunfight it would become a brawl.

Uhura's eyebrows sprang up at the sight of the woman aiming at her, and the yell from Specter of a sniper. Blaster shots burned through the bushes behind the Sergeant and a heat-seeking shot whooshed past his ear. Realizing they were heat seeking, Frolik detached the wrist torch from his gauntlet and lit it up, holding it far away from his body, and the rest of the bolts screamed past the flame.

Discarding the torch to his utility belt, Uhura turned back to returning fire with his rifle, each shot quickly calculated in his head with precision and power, blasting a barrage of accurate death at the mad topless woman who was shooting everywhere and making sure not to hit Specter's grenade mid-air.

"I don't know what sort of idiot put me up to lead this mission,"
he yelled inbetween bursts,
"but they're getting an earful from ME after this business is over!"

As Specter's fragmentation grenade got closer to the ground, Frolik ducked into what cover he could find among the rocks and grass and prepared for the flying dirt and metal there may be.

KERPLOOSH!
The explosion didn't send as much debris as Frolik thought, and only his helmet and chestplate were dirtied with some little patches of dirt.
What he didn't expect was a surge of energy to blast through the bunker and into the hills and the treeline where the team was, not really electrifying, but sort of.. tingly.

He didn't think much of it, and leaned over his cover to deliver a burst of fire, but saw that his rifle no longer worked, the ammo display showed as "N/A."
"What in the name of kriff.. just happened,"
He tried to operate his wrist device, and that was haywire too.
It looked like the remaining guards who hadn't been shot or blown up were having trouble with their blasters, too.

Frolik pulled out his light slugthrower pistol and looked at it, then fired a single stray shot into the wall of the bunker. The pistol operated fine. It seemed that the energy shock only affected weapons that had a power pack, which would of course include blasters.

"It looks like they had more in that bunker than we thought,"

Gamble was handily taking down soldiers left and right, his dual krayt dragon pearl-handled blasters firing off repeatedly and quickly in his more than capable hands. His skills up close and personal with fists and blades wasn't all that great, but his talent with his twin blasters was unparalleled within SOLAG, and that was saying something. Falling back as he continued to unleash volley after volley of blaster fire, Billy did his best to keep some distance between himself and the seemingly endless flow of guards that just poured out of the bunker.

Over the sounds of the battle, he heard a female voice shout, ''Come on Bitch lets Give them Some head!!'' Was that some sort of request for a surrender? Gamble would -certainly- take the offer from the topless woman who was screaming it out. It had been a long journey to this planet and no women aboard ship, if you catch my meaning... Billy hadn't really been paying much attention to her up until this point, but decided that it would be best to take her alive rather than kill her. Heh.

Suddenly, some sort of energy weapon was detonated or charged or whatever; but regardless, Gamble found his blaster pistols to be completely and utterly useless, except for using to Buffalo a few suckers who got too close. Then again, he wasn't the best at close combat. Glancing over at the Sergeant, Billy noted that he too was having issues with his blasters; though suddenly, he pulled out a slug thrower. GREAT IDEA!!

Drawing his scoped hunting rifle from the sheath across his back (check his profile, it's been there since I created him), Gamble called over to the Sergeant and Specter, "Fall back an' take advantage of th' distance!!" As it turned out, the outpouring Soldiers from the bunker didn't have any slug throwers. Sucks to be them Billy thought as he began to fire as rapidly as he could (which was considerably less faster than wielding his twin blasters) with his rifle. Being a hunting rifle, it was only single-feed; so after each shot, he had to quickly load another round.

The bonus to this situation was that Billy was able to make most shots a head-shot, due to the straight line run most of the Soldiers took towards the would-be invaders. Watching your partners head explode into a cloud a pink mist had quite an effect on most. Not wanting to be the next to lose his head like that, Gamble didn't figure it would take too long before these blokes quit rushing, and starting diving for cover. Outnumbered or not, everybody likes keeping their head upon their shoulders. Well, except for maybe that topless chick. She might like her head between some guy's thighs... and Gamble sure wasn't one to turn away an offer like that. No Sir-ee.

Silva Began to pace around her room, she threw Down the Weapon in her hands,She reached back taking a knife from her holster, tying up her hair in a bun with it,She looked down towards her watch on her wrist''It's time''.

She looked at what just seemed like a regular wall until it began to form a line going down the middle until it slowly opened up revealing at least 25 Men dressed In All black and green, each of them were equipped with Blaster's all different sizes, heavy, medium, and light.a couple of them held vibroblades also. They Marched forward in a formation like stance they looked to her Facing Forward stopping in there tracks.

Ahh,men My type,Here's the deal We have some Stupid Bitches who want to mess with us,I want you to take those blaster's and shove it up thier assess.DO I MAKE MY ASS CLEAR''!!.she yelled out,as she reached for her blaster pistols in her holsters holding them out in front of her,''Follow Me''.

she switched down the hall to her fullest as the men behind her followed, blaster's pointing down the hall's,They Were ready to give hell. Almost at the entrance.Pressing a button first on her watch sending a Transmission as the ladder hatch closed.

Billy had the right idea, there was no sense risking their hides up close when they could be safe up higher in the treeline and pick them off from afar, seeing as the guards had no means of defending themselves from afar now; whoever fired that weapon must have been incredibly stupid - or crazy - to do it, unless they had crates full of slugthrowers.. which they obviously didn't.

The Sergeant swung his arm back, and followed Billy up the hill, firing back at the guards as he climbed. From what it looked like, there was a slim chance of the topless woman and her motley crew of grunts winning this firefight.

Frolik was now snug in a higher-up position, picking off any guard that he saw twitch the best he could with a pistol. The guards outside the bunker seemed to be dwindling quickly. With the grunts out, they would just have to deal with that mad topless woman, which, at the moment, didn't look like a hard feat.

'We should probably try to go in after these grunts are finished with,' he thought to himself.

She Finally was near the door,She pointed her Gun outside the door, ten Men carrying heavy blaster's charged out 5 ran to the left,5 ran to the right,They began shooting towards the hills and trees were the men were, they were rolling diving and flipping,as most of them went for cover.

The rest stood inside waiting for order's,She leaned agaisn't the wall inside the bunker, she reached down pulled out a cig,One of the men ran over to her and lit it,she nodded to him as he took back his place,She breathed in and breathed out as a circle of smoke rolled off her red lipstick.she then dropped the cigarette crushing it with her sexy right leg. She began to step outside friendly and enemy fire shooting everywhere, she was right in the middle of battle she did not move or talk until she said her words.

''Lick on this'' a blaster bolt pierced her right through the arm,she fell and rolled to the ground, laying on her back she looked up at the sky smiling. She was not dead only injured she layed there her legs wide open as she licked her lips,If they want her they will get her,but the dumb thing is the thing they were looking for was not even here,'She began to laugh loudly.

As the Sergeant and Gamble came back to the tree line, where Specter had been hidden this entire time, even more soldiers came flooding out of the bunker. Although the Sergeant's and Gamble's rate of fire and accuracy fell as they retreated, Specter was in a prone positition with his rifle. As the foolish enemy rushed out of the bunker Specter added his fire to his team mates. Firing in controlled bursts they were easily able to keep the enemy from getting far enough out of the bunker to zero in on their position and become a threat.

At one point Specter noticed the incompetent commander charge out the entrance to the bunker, but she soon fell to the concentrated fire of the three man team. As the small flood of soldiers finally tapers off specter fires another fragmentation grenade from his 40mm launcher, aiming at the large mass of bodies, killing any survivors.

Moving over towards the Sergeant, Gamble plopped down beside him as he continued to fire his single-round shots, reloading after each one. "Sergeant, you should go 'round to th' side o'er there an' flank 'em while Specter an' I keep their heads down." Firing off another shot, he added, "Tha' pistol a'yers ain' gonna do much good from this far out, an' Specter an' I have better range with our weaponry."

Noting that nigh-naked woman going down, Billy glanced over at Specter's position briefly. He must've gotten her. At least it was only her thigh and not her face. She'd gotten lucky. Giving the Sergeant a nudge with his elbow while sighting in and looking for a shot, Gamble went on to say, "Hun'erd credits says th' blasters for tha' new squad don' work neither." He grunted humoredly to himself just as someone popped their head up. *POP* Instant cloud of pink mist.

Glancing over at the Sergeant, Gamble added, "Once y'git over there an' take a few out, you might wanna offer them a chance to surrender." True, it might be an unlikely option, but so far, they had lost a good number of troopers, meanwhile this little fire team of three hadn't lost any. Add to that, they had taken out their own blasters as well when they discharged that special weapon. Not really a good idea...

Just then, Specter had fired off a grenade round, sending body parts flying through the air. Krath, this was getting bad. Billy was beginning to feel guilty now. They should've offered them the chance to surrender before doing that. Now, it was just a bloody massacre. After a sighing exhale, Gamble looked up over his scope, no longer sighting in on anyone as he commented, the grief apparent in his tone, "Good gawd, is there anybody left?"

Calling over to Specter, Gamble hollered out as he gave the appropriate hand and arm signal, "Cease Fire!! Cease Fire!!" Laying his head down for a moment in pain and despair, Billy stated quietly to the Sergeant, "Better go check for survivors. I'll keep you covered. Might wanna take Specter along with ya." Exhaling breathily, Gamble wiped at the corner of his left eye with the side of his fist before retaking his position behind his scoped weapon, panning across the bunker in search for any signs of life. So far, it didn't look promising...
