Ithor, FWA Space, 1343 Hours.

Wayland gave the Sith promise in expansion on the soils of the FWA. The next target would become Ithor. Valuable medicals supplies and other intel lie on the ships in the skies of the Ithorian race's home world. The Queen, Empress Andruil had ordered Darth Draugr, Lord of the Sith to attack and successfully take control of the planet to bring it under the control of the Sith Empire. Opposition would be almost guaranteed as the Jedi and Rangers are on every planet with vital possessions such as Ithor.

Arriving by surprise would be a frontal assault of four destroyers, three cruisers, one dreadnaught and star fighters galore, would be the Sith Lord Zabrak Draugr ready to bring glory to the Sith once more. Bringing a team of soldiers down in a transport ship with him he would arrive on the capital herdship on Ithor. Touching the synthetic ground of the floating city, he would look on to the capital building standing 200 meters from the landing zone of the Sith. The surroundings were a courtyard leading to the capital building, consisting of a hundreds of fleeing citizens as well as troops firing back and forth asserting dominance.

"All Sith. This is Lord Draugr, we will work together to take the Capital and execute the leaders of this planet. The elimination of their leadership would bring them to their knees. Kill anything in your way. The Empress demands success, do not fail her."

The Sith Lord would be dressed in armor meant for combat, and would be walking forward ready to advance through whatever opposition lied ahead. Jedi, Ranger, Civilian. It didn't matter to him. Nothing will bring him to yield his assault.

Soleil had joined the others going off to war for a shockingly simple reason. Back on Drommund Kaas he garnered little attention, a bookworm with a silent voice. Even if he did well it was beneath notice for most. That, and he didn't actually have his own lightsaber yet. Maybe he was getting ahead of himself, but the only way to find out was to try things out for himself.

His gear was scrounged and scrapped together, bits of acolyte's robes mixed with modern clothes. Instead of a lightsaber, he had paired saberproof vibroweapons, a sword and long dagger. He did technically have a training lightsaber he'd swiped from the training rooms, but it wasn't exactly a lethal weapon.

Black boots- the only unworn piece of his ensemble- carried him down from the departure ramp of a transport just next to Draugr's. First time on a battlefield. He could feel his frayed nerves buzzing beneath his skin joined by a sense of excitement, fingers of his right hand opening and closing repeatedly as the invasion began in earnest.

Bolts burst through the air, darting as crimson birds between the two sides. With the soldiers firing at one another, he blended in the back, moving behind the cover of a large tree on their side of things and keeping pace with Lord Draugr. He kept on the lookout for anything that stood out, hoping his talents with that sort of thing would beat out the cacophonous chaos of a battlefield.

Staring silently at nothing in particular as the transport touched the ground, the young Kaleesh acolyte felt strange. This was familiar, yet so different, she was no stranger to being part of a war, a Kaleesh's life was war, to fight and conquer each other was part of their traditions, their religion and something that they took pride in.

But while the wars she was used to were wars between tribes fighting each other with slugthrowers and basic melee weaponry for a small territory within a planet, today she was fighting for a planet in a galaxy wide war with blasters firing, lightsabers piercing into their enemies and giant metal ships flying in the sky, almost blocking the sun as an omen to what would happen next.

She was nervous, she was overwhelmed, but above all else, Anai was honored to take part of such a conflict, led directly under the banner of none other than a sith lord. It was just a matter of doing her best and proving that she was worth of taking part of such a conflict.

Anai was lightly armored, only using a blast vest under her traditional clothing as to stay nimble, her now cracked Kaleesh mask resting on her face as to fulfill it's purpose of striking fear on her enemies and her two weapons of choice ready to go: Her lightsaber, the weapon that represented her new life, and her Kaleesh cycler rifle, the weapon that represented her origins. Old and new, her origins and her future would be with her in this fight.

The Kaleesh acolyte would give a nod at Soleil should their gazes cross each other's. She didn't interact with him much, in fact she realized she had never actually heard him talk, but it was nice to see a friendly, familiar face nonetheless, while all of them were brothers and sisters in arms right now, a bit of familiarity really did wonders.

Lightsaber in hand, Anai followed their leader into the fray, anxiety mixing with excitement as she looked forward, staring into the distance and ready to confront whoever would dare strike back against their soon to be conquerors, for the hunt was on.

Tiberius was originally sent to Ithor on a diplomatic mission to improve relations between the Jedi and the Ithorian people. Ithor boasted expansive jungles full of natural resources, but more important and key the Jedi’s galactic missions were the medical supplies that were stored on this planet. When Tiberius woke up this morning he had not planned on defending against an invasion.

The Sith empire had been expanding steadily for a while now. It was only a matter of time before Tiberius was caught up in the conflicts. He would have much rather been administering aid to the sick, or fostering relations with some foreign diplomat, like he was supposed to be doing here on Ithor, but Tiberius acknowledged that fighting in wars was came with the territory of being a Jedi.

Unlike his companion, Ruus’all, who was more heavily armored and well-armed, Tiberius wore his Jedi wanderer robes with durasteel plates beneath it. This lighter armor allowed for more nimble movement. Although, if he survived this encounter he may have to talk to Ruus’all about getting a little better armor. As far as his weapons went, Tiberius was armed with his yellow bladed lightsaber and the force.

The Jedi and the forces of Ithor were thus far able to hold off the Vanguard of the Sith, which seemed mostly composed of troops armed with blasters, but Tiberius sensed a darker, stronger presence approaching. Were the tides of battle about the change for the worse?

The Sith descended on Ithor, just as they had on Lothal and Yavin. Jedi bled to protect their worlds and Ithor would be no different. The Sith would find they were most unwelcome. Caris’ had barely recovered from Taris when sprinkles of intelligence reached Ifrane. The First Shadow had sent him to Ithor to prepare the world for the coming assault. While Darkness descends on the planet, the Sith would find a Shadow waiting for them. A handful of other Jedi joined in the defense of the Free World. Of course, Ithor’s own defense forces fought bravely. They held the line against the encroaching Sith…for now.

Caris wore his usual attire with his yellow bladed saber clipped to his belt. He left the mask at home but the red Sith blade rode in his left sleeve…just in case. There was a talent to knowing when to use it. He watched the Sith land. He watched Jedi and defense forces alike engage. He was not here to kill troopers. Caris was on Ithor to murder a Sith Lord. He watched from the shadow of the capital building as Darth Draugar disembarked (@Scoobert). Caris was maybe 100 meters from the landing zone, watching from the first floor of an evacuated building. His force signature was pressed closed, but Draugar was recognizable in that armor. Two Sith (@Mr. Teatime @Versok) unknown to the Shadow seemed to be with the Sith Lord. Collateral damage then.

He’d alerted his fellow Jedi to his duties. Liberate Draugar from this mortal life by any means necessary. Caris had warned them he would not join the battlefield until the Sith Lord engaged. They would need to be safe until he could draw the Sith’s attention. Everyone needed to be patient...they were just getting started. Caris took a deep breath and exited the building. His signature in the Force blazed forth.

For Vren, Denon had been a success but it was a short-lived one. While he managed to assist Sevrin and liberate the planet, it was against his master's orders as he kind of just took off from her one day to join. As a result, when he came back, Alex was pleased with what he had done on his own initiative but was also disappointed by his brashness. As a "punishment", the Echani had been sent to Ithor to participate in some medical lessons, something to occupy his time while she did other important things, at least what he believed.

When the invasion started, Vren was in the library and about to open another book. As he flipped a page, the shelves surrounding him began to shake violently, books flying out and almost attacking bystanders as if it had been some long ploy of revenge. Familiar screeches would echo throughout the city and even the library as the Echani's entire body froze then, able to sense the Dark side festering outside. "Fuck." With a spin on his heel, he immediately rushed out to join the defense. How ironic that his Master had gotten him into this one.

Stepping outside as the transport touched down in the courtyard, Vren's golden gaze tracked it as he waited, dressed in his typical jacket and pants. There was a deactivated dual-phase lightsaber in each hand, the Echani not exactly fond they weren't his own but had gotten used to weight quickly. They were the replacements for his training sabers that he had fished out from the armory.

Even with the chaos that unfolded around him, the Echani couldn't help but keep his vigilant gaze on the Sith Lord that walked towards them, the Darkside pulsating around him. While Vren was confident in himself, he wasn't stupid to face against a Lord that much more powerful than him. Even with the Sith's choking cloud of Darkside that surrounded him, he sensed two smaller signatures and his gaze flicked to the right, spotting a younger kid moving against the flow of the battle as he walked toward the capital building.

With a step to the side, Vren would step in front Sol's (@Mr. Teatime) intended path and be ready to oppose once they closed the distance. The Echani would build the force around himself as his grip tightened around the hilt of his lightsabers, remaining vigilant to react to anything.

Sol briefly returned Anai's greeting gesture as he slipped into the flow of combat, sometimes ducking slightly when a fallen soldier crossed his path. Quick fingers retrieved some extra gear, namely those standard retracting vibroknives the Empire liked to give out. He'd gotten three for his trouble and stuck two in his belt, the third kept concealed in his left hand. He drew his vibrosword and moved to the next tree, still keeping up with Darth Draugr's pace.

Past this last tree, there was a library in the courtyard. It looked a rather nice place, too, aside from the fighting nearby. Also, there was a person there who stepped out into the open and spotted him. Holding lightsabers. Awkwardly they'd spotted one another at the same time, the Force gathering through them both. Sol's eyes narrowed at the figure. They were notably taller, but they looked young. Maybe even as young as Sol himself. Dark brows lowered on his face and he stopped moving forward, a moment passing where their eyes met across the distance. Close enough to see, but too far to cross blades just yet.

All he had to do was the things he'd practiced in real-time. He could totally do that. Or, more like he had to. He had a better life now than as a little kid, and Sith didn't live long if they weren't useful. Sith didn't keep their 'freedom' if they weren't dangerous to mess with. There was a goal on this planet and Sol was determined to be the one to reach it. Even if another kid was in his way.

The Sith's eyes dropped from the Jedi's face to his torso and he tried to forget what it looked like as he slipped right, ducking down and heading behind the tree. As he moved his left hand flicked forward, vibroknife's blade extending and activating while a pulse of the Force launched it at unnatural speeds toward Vren's chest. The projectile flew fairly straight but unguided. While out of sight Sol's left hand grabbed a handful of pebbles and dirt from around the tree's roots. He emerged a moment later on the opposite side of the tree's trunk and started forward toward the Jedi, clenched left hand resting near his vibrodagger and spare knives.

The sword in his right hand stayed up in guard, the Force ready for use if he needed it.

As the Jedi lined up in preparation of engagement with the Sith attackers, the Zabrak Lord would be prepared to mark his target much like Sol had. There was Jedi brandishing a yellow blade, and looked like they were ready to fight the Lord here today. This would be very interesting to carry out. Some Jedi, although lower in rank, can fend off a Lord by themselves. Draugr has seen it happen and each of them have a different fighting style so now adjustments will be made on the fly. For now Caris was the target.

Draugr would in quick succession use the force to grip and rip the left ankle of the Padawan as hard as he could but keeping his focus on Caris as he would react to any attack coming his way. The Lord was well versed in his combat abilities and was confident in his actions. The padawan would feel the ripping pull of the force swing his left ankle out ward and putting him off balance as Sol ran in to strike. Draugr would keep a gaze on Caris and have in his right hand the hilt of the unignited lightsaber. The blade would quickly ignite as he waited in a defensive position for the Knight to attack.

Now it is time for battle..

Sol had engaged the less experienced looking one and so, Anai fixed her gaze on the other one, quickly walking forward as she activated her blade, the red glow illuminating her mask as she got closer and closer. Anai's approach would be a lot simpler, rather being alert in case her opponent would try to use the force to attack or defend himself in order to counteract with one on her own instead of opening up with the force herself.

Once she got in range she would strike diagonally down from the right with her lightsaber at the man in front of her, Tiberius. Her left foot positioned forward, leading the attack as the Kaleesh attempted to strike him down, Anai of course made sure to not overextend and get too close, in the likely case she would have to defend herself afterwards, but for now the duel was on.

Anai did notice that Draugr had decided to let this one entirely to her and helped Sol instead, so she would also make sure Tiberius wouldn't be interrupting that fight any time soon, let the two of them hunt together for now, the jedi would pay dearly if he tried to help his colleague, she would make sure of that.

It was time to engage. The Sith had caught up to their vanguard of troopers. The Sith Lord was unmistakable in his armor, and he appeared to be flanked by two additional Sith. The one looked young, the other it was hard to tell because she wore a mask that covered her face. As the Sith approached he saw a fellow Jedi rush out of the library and engage the young looking Sith. It appeared the Sith lord was concerned for the young acolyte as evidenced by his use of the force to aid him. Did the Sith lord doubt the ability of his subordinates?

There was no more time for contemplation. The masked Sith (@Versok) had chosen Tiberius as her opponent. This was a perfect opportunity to draw her away from her allies and open Darth Draugr to another assault from another Jedi who Tiberius sensed was in the area.

The masked Sith wasted no time initiating her attack. Tiberius held his lightsaber out in front of himself at the ready in his right hand. She led with her left foot and her first swing came down diagonally from her right traveling left. Tiberius countered, planting his right foot forward, he moved his lightsaber to block the assault holding his hand level with his forehead and his lightsaber slightly less than 90 degrees. There was a hiss as the two blades met. Still holding off Anai’s attack, Tiberius immediately thrust out his hand sending a force push at the torso of the Sith in an attempt to send her flying back.

V came busting of the building behind the Shadow...clearly ignoring his command to remain safe until he drew the Sith Lord away...and ruining his dramatic entrance. Caris took off running through the Courtyard after the Padawan. The Force rippling through his legs. His focus remained on Draugr. When the Sith Lord gathered the Force, Caris responded in kind. Light flowed from his pumping legs into his outstretched left hand.

His working of the Force was crude, but it hopefully would be enough to stop the attack on the Padawan. Draugr was a Sith Lord but even a Sith Lord would struggle to split his attention between assaulting the Padawan and remaining focused on his surroundings. It was unlikely he’d be able to effectively defend himself...but only time would tell. Caris ripped at Draugr’s ankles, savagely pulling on them up and outward. He aimed for the Sith Lord to lose his feet as Caris closed the distance.

He was able to keep all his new friends in his field of vision while the gap vanished. Caris moved his blade as he approaching striking distance. With his blade in his right hand, he trust out with the tip of his blade to spear Draugr in his left shoulder.

Vren watched as the figure in front of him approached at a steady pace. The closer he got, the better the details become for him. It was just a kid, one the same age as him. The Echani had participated in an assault before this and knew the possibility wasn't unheard of but the last Sith he faced had all been older than him or Lords. His stomach flipped a little but both of them had shown up to fight and that couldn't be ignored.

The force had continually been building for Vren as he waited for the attackers to make their first move. His wish was granted as Sol threw the knife right toward his chest. At the same time, he felt a pull on his ankle by the Sith Lord. With the force already built around him, the padawan reinforced his control over his own limb as it dragged about half a foot outward but remained on the ground in order to not lose his balance. Not only that but with the assistance of Caris, it would cut off the attack quickly and leave him stable if it worked and easier to keep control of.

With Vren's gaze remaining on Sol the entire time, he saw the knife fly in and he simply activated his right lightsaber and twisted his wrist to the right, deflecting the knife to the ground as it clattered and bounced away from him. The Echani's gaze would lock on Sol's and immediately after the deflection, he slipped his left lightsaber away onto his belt, leaving that hand open with his right still occupied, and returned in front of him for the defensive.

Vren took a few steps forward towards the acolyte, remaining vigilant as he still waited for another move to be made. The force once more swelling around him as his control over the past few months had gotten much better.

Sol had emerged from behind the tree before his thrown knife was deflected, a brief moment of bemusement showing on his face at the Jedi's foot dragging awkwardly forward. He could feel the influence of Draugr on his fight, even if it was only for a split second, and it bothered him. The silent acolyte was here to prove himself, not have his hand held the entire way. Soleil was tired of being ignored.

Expression tense at the knife's deflection, he remembered the next step for this tactic he'd memorized in advance. Out of his opponent's sight was the best place for a dirty trick, right as the two young men stared at one another. Two kids trying to murder one another for the sake of things greater than themselves, for selfish reasons, for whatever it was.

Stepping forward in mirror of the padawan his clenched left fist swung right, the Force yanking the spinning vibroknife back in the opposite direction it was careening toward. But there was only so much Sol could do with his level of strength, so this boomerang trick lacked much precision. The knife's buzzing blade would swipe across Vren's legs as he walked forward, awkwardly aligned blade intended to carve a nasty slice through the back of his lower right leg, It was supposed to hamstring the Jedi but Sol just didn't have the control for that yet. He'd settle for sliced muscle and bleeding, taking bites out of his opponent like circling sharks.

Sol also noted the belted off-hand lightsaber, another thing he'd have to keep track of. Meanwhile, the two were slowly approaching close combat range, one step at a time. He could feel the tension building in the air, the sounds of blaster fire and grenades going off fading into a background hum until it felt like it was only Sol and Vren alone in the courtyard.

Draugr had immediately shifted his focus back to Caris, but as he did he could feel the pull of the force on his lower legs. The Jedi moved fast but their focus was split as well being they were using the force to speed their way to battle. The pull was successful none the less, though not as powerful as the Jedi would hope. The Sith Lord would feel his legs pull forward and as the Jedi made it forward their blade would be sent towards the left shoulder of Draugr. In most cases this would be enough, but the Lord was prepared for intrusion on his assist and twisted his body to the left as he fell leaving the thrust being sent forward.

The Jedi would miss their mark and be off balance with their arm extended forward, and would pull the Jedi's body through the force with his left hand towards the left of the Lord. The Sith Lord would use this to his advantage and send his blade that was ignited in his right hand in a horizontal strike to the body of the Jedi at the waist. Thus being when the blade hits it would leave the Jedi split in two.

The Lord was prepared for any counters as he would immediately bounce off the ground with his knee bent to allow for himself to lift off the ground into a standing position and ready to continue any fight. The Lord was fond of battle and would be sure to end the opposition quickly if possible.

Anai's blade would connect with that of her opponent, the blades locking as she started to try and overpower him with strength. However, as she did that, she did notice that she was gaining a bit of ground for a moment...Which felt like Tiberius was freeing one of his hands. Anai knew what this could possibly mean and let go of the lightsaber with one of her hands, calling to the force to protect herself against the force push.

Of course, she had less time to do so as it was a reaction and a defense and she was also a bit less experienced than the jedi knight, so she wouldn't be able to completely nullify the push. Instead, she would make sure to counter it in such a way that while she would certainly be pushed back, she wouldn't be knocked off her feet. Instead of being sent flying, Anai would find herself skidding backwards a few meters, the attack granting the jedi some distance as she made sure she didn't fall to the ground.

However, the Kaleesh wouldn't give the human jedi any time to rest as she quickly advanced forward, this time calling upon the force to push him. However, while Tiberius' push was a more general one, Anai aimed to his legs, trying to make him fall on his face as they were pushed backwards, a difficult thing to tackle specially if he had advanced towards her as well. Anai would prepare herself, observing how the human would react to the push in order to attack appropriately afterwards, the distance between them closed once more by the time that happened.

Caris’ saber found only air as Draugr twisted and fell. The thrust did not send him off balance since he had always intended to strike forward. He simply did not find his target. Instead, Caris felt himself being pulled to his right in the same direction the Sith Lord fell. His feet slid slightly to his right before the Force rooted him in place. Caris’ yellow bladed saber reversing in his hand and brought down to point towards his left hip, blocking the Sith Lord’s horizontal swing at his left side.

Caris’ left hand had remained by his hip. His second blade carefully concealed within. As yellow and red sabers sparked, Draugr’s knee hitting the ground, Caris’ red bladed saber would slip into his hand at that same instant, the red blade activating as his grip tightened. The blade aimed into the center of Draugr’s chest. Caris' red blade ignited the moment his yellow saber made contact with Draugrs. At this distance, without forewarning, the Sith Lord would have perilously little time to react.

Tiberius was disappointed that his attack with the force didn’t work as planned, but it had managed to put a little distance between the two opponents. There was no time to rest, though. Tiberius knew that the Sith were blood thirsty, and this Sith that stood before him would kill him at the first opportunity. This was no time to get cocky and let your guard down.

The two combatants began to close the distance between themselves. Tiberius sprinted forward. He was almost in striking distance when he felt his left leg give out from under him. The Sith had used a Force push in an attempt to knock him down. Luckily she had only managed to hit his left legs. The Jedi began to fall. Tiberius tucked his left shoulder and used his momentum to travel forward in a roll, landing him next to the Sith (her right side).

Using his momentum to stand he also used it to slash at the Kaleesh. The Slash was diagonal starting low at Tiberius right side and swinging up to his left. The attack was meant to cut the Sith in half, but it could cause damage to one of the Sith’s right side appendages depending on how she reacted.

Instead of immediately clashing weapons, both of them were feeling each other out. Normally, Vren would have been on the offensive by this point but the age of both of them held him back. If it had been a regular Lord, he felt he wouldn't have an issue but this was different.

As he stepped forward, so did the Acolyte as the Echani felt the force brush past him. With an educated guess of what the kid was trying to pull off, Vren stepped diagonally and to the right. In one smooth motion, he would pivot on that foot and spin just in time to see the knife flying at his leg. Because of the spin, it only left a small and manageable cut on the side and instead of just simply dodging it, his left hand would come out and have the force wrap around the knife.

As Vren came out of the spin in the of a second, he would hurl the knife at Sol with his effort behind it. The distance was shorter between them last time and it had the extra push of padawan behind it, the knife rapidly closing the distance as it was aimed for the stomach of the acolyte. It would leave a much shorter reaction window than before and if it struck, the acolyte would be impaled through the stomach but it wouldn't be a killing blow, just a significant injury.

As the Echani continued to walk forward slowly, his saber would be in front of him in the defensive, his left hand open as well and ready with the force weaving between his fingers. He remained prepared for everything as he watched what the acolyte did next.

Anai had done that push for a reason: She wanted to create an opening, a way for her to take care of her opponent as fast as possible, and once she found out what Tiberius was about to do, Anai knew that was it, this was the chance she was waiting for, the jedi was vulnerable now.

The moment she noticed Tiberius was about to tuck his left shoulder, she pointed her lightsaber outwards and called to the force once more, using it as a burst of speed that would move her forward much faster than Tiberius had surely anticipated which Anai had done this in order to strike him mid-roll. To be exact, the force burst would move her past Tiberius' right, timing it in such a way that her lightsaber would strike him while he had his back turned against her and just as his legs would be at their highest, the lightsaber slashing off both legs just below (above in this situation, really) the groin.

With such a close distance between them that she probably could have just tried to stab him before he managed to land right next to her, the burst of force speed was done just to seal the deal. Between the fact that he had no visual on her at that moment, the awkward position he was in and the fact it would take less than half a second for her lightsaber to strike him given the distance, there weren't many things Tiberius would be able to do to avoid her attack.

Regardless of that, Anai would end 10 meters past her original position and, therefore, wouldn't be there for his attack should he somehow be in the fight after that move, putting some distance between them if she missed...But if she didn't, her opponent would be down and she would look around and see what was left.

In quick fashion it seemed the Jedi had blocked the blade of the Lord at the waist though it would not shock the Zabrak. The Jedi remained in front of him with their blades clashed against each other. As the Lord rose he noticed a hilt pop out of the sleeve of the Jedi,

Clever Jedi..

Although creative, not completely unthought of. The Lord had little time to react, he would move as fast as he could but lightsabers ignited quickly. Leaning back as quickly as possible he would still feel the burning stab of a lightsaber to the pectoral muscle closer to the shoulder region. Luckily for Draugr as he fell back the blade wouldn't hit deep enough to kill but the damage had been done to the Sith Lord. As Draugr fell back to save his life, he sent a force blast to the gut of the Jedi to send him back and create space to prepare for battle as he would roll back and stand to his feet. His chest burning with pain as the puncture had left a notble cauterized stab wound in the right most chest of the Sith Lord, but he would have to fight through it as he knew the Jedi would try to take advantage of this moment.

Should the Jedi try to attack on a counter Draugr would be standing in a defensive stance harnessing the force around his body the pain agonizing. Defense was his only option as of now.
