To answer your question, which I'm pretty sure you've already started anyway, I say yes, go for it.
Anyway, I just wanted to make you all aware of this.

I just don't understand why people want sith to be Jedi... it's just cliche in a bad way. But whatever...
Anyway, that actually sounds like an awesome (looking for the source of these purebloods, cause they're kind of supposed to be extinct to the known galaxy) idea for a mission, or set of missions; finding out where they're all coming from. Would you want to organize it/come up with a short write up? I mean, I could but it was your idea.
The notion of a Sith Pureblood just convinces me the idea of a anti-hero is probably the worst literary device invented in the 20th century. Tragic heroes have always been a favorite of mine, but I can not stand bad guys masquerading as good guys - when they do go bad, it's just so obvious, like fulfilling their own prophecy. Anti-hero characters are so boring, you sit there either thinking "well this is unrealistic and farcical" because he's not doing what he's meant to do, or you go "saw that coming" because he becomes remotely tempted by his darker side. There are never any surprises with them And the Sith are worst of all, because they are the essence of the Dark Side. That's like saying I made a creature through Dark Side alchemy who doesn't think he wants to feed off hate anymore.
Sure, I can do a write up, it'll take some time to think about though. Pitch me any ideas you have on it.
