Since I am, technically, out of the thread due to being KOed, I hope it's no problem that I now edit my CS and inventory—I'm going to enter a PvP thread and would like for everything to be up to date. Just to prevent any problems, I'll write a copy of my inventory in this thread for reference:

• Lightsaber: Red bladed lightsaber, unstable
• Secondary weapon: Pugio blaster pistol
• Armor: Sith Marauder Armor

I think your post is a little auto-hitty. While you have leveled a force attack at her, the result of that needs to be worded more as an attempt than a success that slams Doz into the canon. I have not provoked an attack of opportunity like that.

I also am not very certain as to his ability to interrupt every action that she makes during her turn with this one force attack. Its not an action heavy post leaving it open for a great length of time in which to insert an interruption. she jumps to the ground and runs with force enhancement to Wes and does not even attempt an attack action.

That part I am sketchy about... the time issue and how and where we can interupt each other. :D I am open to having it explained though.

But at the very least with Doz being filled with the force for several posts now, accumulating that energy, that if Luy gets a force attack off on her she would not be tossed about like a rag doll. If anything she would be pushed off course as the combined force sets up an alternate vector for her to move along.

what do you guys think?

@Raydo you know what really worries me is that grenade. is it a dud? had it been forgotten? or is it one that has to be activated remotely later on?

I agree, especially regarding the Force pushing Doz while she jumps. Luy is a Level 1, and he is trying to Force push her entire 65-kg body while she's moving through the air pretty fast. I don't think it needs to be quoted again, but we've all seen the "Shift in the Meta" PvP announcement.

As to time I was just reading it that she at least made it to the ground, other wise how could Luy admire her attempt to rescue Wes? So she would not be in the air at all when push comes to shove.

but you know how I feel about the level/rank system. While it is wonderful that we all have to level up and that speaks to the mechanics involved, it makes absolutely no sense at all for Luy's Mastery of the force to not matter at all. And I won't play it out that way.

cause...I like the story to matter more than the mechs.

I agree Luy's inner monologue muddles up the time frame of his actions and that could be edited out pretty easily to make clear that up. As far as interpreting her actions, there is nothing really stopping him from doing so. Its a Force attack, a fairly basic one at that, that he has specifically already prepared for and you are having to move almost directly past him to get to Wes. There was no attempt to really do anything to stop him from attacking you and he was running at Doz and at least preparing such an attack.

It's just the nature of PvP to interrupt actions, which is why it's usually best to limit actions to as few a possible imo.
