She didn't travel a lot, but now that she had plenty of time in her hands and an Acolyte under her wing, Hrist found it prudent to make a nice – albeit short, depending on how her student would fare on her appointed task – trip to Scarif.
The female Sith Marauder possessed a fondness for tropical planets, mostly because of the feeling of warm sunshine on her skin. The cold always reminded her of her time as a Cadre subject, and while her Father's presence grounded her the hatred she held for the other Cadre Masters often let her anger explode unchecked. And, as Father always told her, she couldn't always act like the vicious animal that she was all the time. Could she?
The Mayari soon touched down on a wide clearing on the jungle bordering the nearest beach. Hrist stood up from her perch on the pilot seat, her helmeted gaze settling momentarily on the Acolyte. She wouldn't care for what he might be doing during their travel on the way to the planet, but his good behavior would soon be rewarded... if, and only if, he had been quiet during the flight.
Descending the ship without waiting for Xeno, Hrist took a moment to reach out and extend her mind through the Force to ascertain that she and her Acolyte would be the only sentient beings in the area. Finding only the instincts of the creatures inhabiting the area, Hrist proceeded to remove her gloves and tucked them in the inner pocket of her robes. Lifting her now bare hands to the side of her helmet, the Marauder took it off with an audible hiss.
Her gaze found the sky and she closed her eyes with a soft smile, feeling the pleasant warmth of the sun on her face. Once done enjoying what she could, she clipped her helmet to her belt and turned to look back at her ship. She caught sight of her astromech droid, Lata, rolling down the ramp and complaining in a series of high-pitched beeps about being left behind. Once the astromech reached her side, Hrist placed one hand on top of it's head, patting the metal surface rather unconsciously.
"Xeno, darling," she called out to the Zabrak in honeyed tones, "come out already. Be a dear and enjoy the sun with me, why don't you?"
The Marauder would let him enjoy. For now. He had work ahead of him, after all.
