This staff continues to be the best staff of any roleplay site I've ever been on. They're active, they're fair, they basically just do a good job. I don't always agree with their decisions, but I usually do; and when I don't, they have always been willing to talk about it (even if it doesn't change a damn thing, it's just nice when someone in authority is at least willing to listen to hear what you have to say). Overall, **** yeah swrp. Keep up the good work.

This is an affront to family values.

I give you an F- for family values Mr. Moderate. :CStern:CHappy:CStern:CStern

(Find the odd man out)

In all seriousness you're a great mod. I've give you a 8.4/10.

I still haven't been appointed high Grand Liason of the Conservative Minority to staff, but somehow the site is still running, so I suppose you guys pass.

Still think that maybe we have one or two too many staff members, but other than that, you guys are pretty good for the most part. Some might be a bit better than others, but thats to be expected.

Admin Feedback

Admin Feedback incoming!

I'll start from the top and work my way down.

Augustus (Matt): Haven't seen any posts by him, I have no feedback other than I would like to see more site-ruling actions.

Brandon Rhea: Very decisive and fair in his ruling. Something about this site that i like is that all the Admins I've seen don't let the members push them around with rulings and guilt trips or pick favorites, past sites I've been on had that problem. I think that the rulings you make are fair, detailed, and that you take everyone's point of view into consideration when making these rulings ICly. I like that you're active OOC also in the suggestion threads and that they are not ignored.

Lucid: You're an extremely friendly guy and I'm glad that we have an admin that also has a peer-relationship attitude. It feels like when you make posts about issues that you've really stepped up and put forth the effort to make the site better for everyone and that you treat the members of this site more like friends than a responsibility, which can be good and bad (80% good, 20% bad in my personal opinion). I greatly appreciate that you've been active in the OOC threads about suggestions and asking for other members' input about ideas on how to make the site less laggy, along with the input of administrative details such as the OOC Moderator thread.

Samuikion (Lavi): I don't have much input, I'm pretty split between your admin posts. Some of them I agree with, some I disagree with, but whether I agree or not doesn't have to do with it. I like that you're active to a degree with several OOC threads and give legitimate input when necessary, but in some of the threads I view important such as the RP OOC threads (for example, the OOC threads for the battles and invasions), I haven't seen many posts by you and I think more people would appreciate if the admins as a whole were to comment in those threads to give a range of admin-input and to reinforce the members' attitude of "what's allowed and disallowed by the admins" since a couple people don't having a topic addressed by only a single admin.

Sir Doomsday (Nexus): Pretty much the same as Augustus, I haven't seen any posts from you aside from OOC General Chat which doesn't have anything to do with Admin responsibilities. I appreciate that Admins are active in the social community, but it would be appreciated if they also took part in making posts on suggestion threads or threads about policies and rulings.

Sir Jiang (Hakim): You're active with other players, but I sometimes doubt your post on rulings. For some of the debated OOC threads for RPing, there has been controversy about admin approval from you about certain things that should have been publicly discussed with the other faction and other members to make sure that everyone was in agreement about a certain battle, such as the invasion of Nal Hutta that's been a giant rage-fest. I like how you're active with the members and RP on a regular basis, keeping a friendship with members, but as I said before some of the others, I think that there should be more attention focused on the OOC threads as far as rulings go.

Sir SIN (SIN): I haven't seen many posts from you either, so basically the same thing I said for Sir Doomsday and Augustus.

I hope that nothing I have said has offended anyone, but I believe that a Feedback thread shouldn't have any held-back opinions. This is not a rage-flame post against anyone, but I saw in a different thread someone mentioning that not been a lot of feedback activity. If I've stepped over a line, please send me a PM and I'd be more than glad to discuss my personal concerns with you, but I hope that what I've said has been helpful.

EDIT: Just realized that there were links to the feedback thread. Copying and pasting there.

I wont list names. If you want clear, blunt feedback then I can give it to you...

I just notice admins will complain about dumb threads then turn around and make threads with equal or lesser value. Now, I'm not sure if this is some joke I'm not picking up on but that's what I've seen...

I've also seen admins complain about off topic posts, short posts, etc etc and they all do it themselves as well. To me this is defined as elitism but we find this in every day life anyway.

If the admins feel the site needs improvement then the first step would to be having what they want the rules to be for chat laid down and followed by everyone including themselves. Lead by example.

It really doesn't bother me but someone said they wanted to attract more members and as a newbie that is what I see here.

EDIT: So apprently I'm blind and didn't see the 'lol overall staff input!' thread

This is an informative post, however Bac will post a thread once in a while asking for feedback on a specific admin. You seem like you want to improve the site, albeit most decisions are made within a consensus on the part of the mods/admins, but one thing I like is they look for input and suggestions within regular members. It's nice to see you're focused on who's doing what and how they're doing it.

I've been on here for over a year, and although I'm not as active as I should be, how things are run and having friendly, informative staff is one of the most important things for me.

One thng that irks me is if a thread goes on and on and on it seems to take a while for an admin to pop in and get things on topic (most members are vigilant of this, however).

Alright, flipped back and cleaned up.

@RADZ On to your post:
Yes, I think you're right; Admins do have to set an example, however, admins often become trolls simply because they can. It's not good, it's not acceptable, but it's like a natural progression. That is definitely something that should be cut down on. You raise an excellent point.

Now, if we could get back to the tech aspects (and the main topic) of this thread...your post has relevance both here and in the admin feedback. From this point on you should quote and continue over there.
