AGE: 19
GENDER: Female
HEIGHT: 5'9"
WEIGHT: 124 lbs.
EYES: Very light blue, almost silvery gray
HAIR: Dark auburn
SKIN: White
CREDITS: 1,000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS:
-Small diamond stud piercing on the left side of her nose
-Tattoo of a horseshoe crossed with a dagger on her left hip
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:
Sufi is relatively tall when compared to most human women, though her thin frame and often sloppy or lazy type of demeanor keep her from appearing anything close to imposing. Her slender build is mostly attributed to genes, since she's certainly no paragon of physical fitness or exercise and pays little attention to what she eats. Obviously, no one would consider Sufi to be particularly voluptuous, although she isn't quite as flat as the dining room table either, boasting some moderate curves at the very least.

Her hair is quite thick and reaches just above the middle of her back. It has a slight, natural waviness to it, which Sufi exploits to create her typically very casual look, topping it off with side swept bangs. When trying to look a bit older or more refined, she'll go through the trouble of straightening her hair and opt for a blunt fringe instead. The dark auburn color of her hair creates a bit of a contrast, since both Sufi's skin and eyes are rather pale. Besides being noticeable due to their somewhat uncommon color, her eyes are also round and slightly down turned, giving Sufi's face a very youthful countenance that matches or even downplays her age.

Naturally, her wardrobe tends to follow the rest of her look, therefor consisting of mostly casual attire: tank tops, pants, jackets, skirts and the like. There may be a couple of dresses and flashier pieces buried in there somewhere, but they rarely see use.

PERSONALITY:
Sufi is still little more than a kid, and it shows in many facets of her personality. She tends to go with the ebb and flow of life with a relatively carefree and lighthearted attitude, only displaying her more serious side when truly applying herself to a specific job or task that requires concentration. She can be more or less socially awkward at times depending on the situation, but for the most part she manages to remain at least somewhat endearing. As far as her personal abilities are concerned, Sufi has a strong sense of inner confidence, although she's generally not very overt or boastful so it can be hard to detect outwardly.

Having grown accustomed to receiving generous amounts of love and attention for pretty much her entire life, Sufi actively seeks out the feeling of being accepted and appreciated. Often, this comes at her own detriment as she can be quite naive when it comes to interpersonal relationships, making her particularly susceptible and easy to manipulate. Despite having been burned several times in the past because of this tendency, she still can't seem to help herself.

Sufi doesn't care much about strangers, but when it comes to people that she cares about, she's generally very emotional and empathetic towards them. She'll do just about anything to help a friend. Most would argue that such traits are in fact weaknesses when taking into account her profession, but Sufi tries to make them work for her as much as possible, since she has neither the ability nor the desire to just erase entire parts of her personality on a whim.

LIKES AND DISLIKES:
She loves games of just about any kind, whether they be playful bets amongst friends, skill competitions or casino games played for credits. To her, they provide a good avenue to have fun while testing her own skills and even learning a thing or two while she does it. Sufi is also addicted to the unique thrill that she feels while hunting down a target and executing her plan or improving a new one on the fly when necessary. Nothing else makes her feel alive in quite the same way. As for the act of killing someone itself, she's rather indifferent towards it. She finds the journey far more enchanting that the destination, so to speak. When she needs to relax, one of her favorite activities is to simply soak in a warm bath while listening to some music and reading a good novel.

She absolutely hates being deceived or lied to by the people that she trusts and considers to be her friends, and it's one of the few things that will bring out the seldom seen vindictive side of her personality. She also hates having to bottle up or hide her emotions, even if she accepts the fact that it's necessary at times. In fact, that's the main reason that she's never been interested in the Jedi order even after discovering that she was sensitive to the Force. Another thing that Sufi has trouble with is seeing her own blood or injuries. While her problem probably doesn't quite reach phobia status, it can still cause her a great deal of mental discomfort even for something as trivial as a paper cut.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Sufi's biggest strengths are her aptitude to learn quickly when it comes to technical or physical abilities as well as her creativeness which she often uses to think outside the box. She also has a pretty good natural sense of grace and dexterity which has been further refined thanks to some training.

Her naivety and tendency to let her heart overpower her brain are two of her more glaring weaknesses, as well as being the most difficult to ones to keep in check. Sufi's physical strength and constitution leave something to be desired as well, but her laziness and habit of procrastinating when it comes to training definitely hamper her progress on that front.

As for traits which could be considered as double edged swords, she can be extremely stubborn and persevering once she's made her mind up about something. She's also got a rather impulsive streak that can either lead to clutch decisions or disastrous ones, depending on the day.

BIOGRAPHY:
In many ways, Sufi's childhood was pretty normal and comfortable, although it did also include a few particularities. Her mother had died from an incurable disease when she was only a couple of years old, and her father was often away on business, so she spent much of her time being raised in Galactic City by her nanny. Despite all that, Sufi was a perfectly happy and content little girl. She and her father shared a very close bond despite often being apart for extended periods of time, and she got along famously with Arruna as well - the gentle and soft spoken Twi'lek woman who took care of her until her teen years.

As for her father, Damian, he was always honest and open towards his daughter. Once she was old enough to properly understand, he told Sufi exactly what he did for a living, going into detail about what his "business" truly consisted of. He was a killer, or rather a professional assassin. Not exactly the typical cloak and dagger type portrayed in the movies, either, but one who was employed by prominent companies and corporations to eliminate traitors and spies who would sell dangerous technologies to the criminals, terrorists or other unsavory characters along those lines. Many large businesses preferred to keep the authorities out of their affairs, so they sub-contracted jobs to private groups that employed people like Damian.

Sufi didn't really see any problems with that her father did, viewing it as a perfectly valid - and even very interesting - career choice, although she did understand the necessity of keeping the information just between them. As she grew into her teens, she began to be increasingly intrigued by the specifics of her father's line of work, begging him to tell her more about it and even teach her the tricks of the trade so that she could perhaps follow in his footsteps. He was unreceptive to the idea at first, trying to convince her that he didn't wish that sort of dangerous life upon her, but there was no talking Sufi out of it. Eventually, she managed to wear Damian down. He agreed to give in to her demands in exchange for good behavior and results in school, which Sufi hadn't been taking as seriously since she'd started growing up and getting distracted by typical teenager occupations.

They had their ups and downs, as all families do, but overall everything in the Lyrithene household went quite well for the next fear years. Things changed shortly after Sufi's 18th birthday, however, as she inadvertently discovered her attunement with the Force during a heated argument with her then-boyfriend. Confused and panicked, she rushed home to share the shocking discovery with her father, only to be hit by an even greater revelation.

He'd known all along, ever since she was just a little kid. Damian tried to justify the way that he'd kept it a secret by explaining that he simply couldn't stand the thought of losing her to the Jedi, but Sufi would have none of it. She couldn't accept the fact that the man she'd trusted and looked up to for her entire life - the same man who'd promised never to keep anything from her - could do such a thing. It was as if a piece of her identity had been missing for all of those years because of her father, and that was never his decision to make. Furious and inconsolable, Sufi packed a suitcase before storming out of her home, warning her father not to come looking for her if he ever wanted them to have a relationship again some time down the road.

As impulsive and naive as her decision may have been, Sufi was convinced that she needed to find her own path through the world, and for that she would need to start over from scratch by herself.

Thanks guys! I'll play the character a bit and then see which faction she ends up gravitating towards IC. Time to get started on a second character so that I can play with more of you at the same time. ^^
