"Good." she picked up two rocks, "Keep your eyes closed and as you did earlier, orbit these also." she asked him to do next.

Talath frowned, upset about all this. She expected him to just be able to do it all? He took a deep breath, and started to focus on the two rocks, all the while seeing them through the Force. This was putting quite a strain on his brain, as he got the two rocks floating around him in a close cirlce, then slowly widening as his concentration grew deeper. It was a brutal feeling; just by being pissed off, he started to let them grow wider, until the two stones orbited both him and Lalita under his command, his stance rigid but focused, two hands resting on his legs while the other two kept the rocks in orbit. He could see them, spinning around, and then did what he had done not so long ago: one rock orbiting the other while the latter maintained the orbit around the pair.

He said no word to his Master, just made the rocks close in as he let them drop on top of the dead body, then opening his eyes and facing his master with a frown of someone who had just been pissed off. Not only because Master Lalita was making him do all kinds of stuff without warning or sign of slowing down, but because he could actually feel the connection to the Force growing with each task, making him stronger. She was right in making him do this, and that was starting to make him angry.

"It is done, Master..."

There was a small grin forming in the corner of her mouth, she could feel his frustration, and impatience. "But we are not done." she smiled, replying to her pupil's statement. However, she did know fatigue could be damaging even to the most powerful of dark jedi, and now that Talath had proven himself, she wanted to know about him.

"Tell me Talath, who are you? What has your life been like since before our meeting?" she asked.

Talath sighed. He stretched his neck before talking; his breathing was a bit more paced than usual. "I actually do not know who I am... or what I am. As far as I can tell, no one ever seen anything like me... like this!" He raised his hands in a shrug, one of his hands reaching for the lekku around his head. "Ever since a kid my clothing had to be made specially for me; that's why I walk around in these." He pointed to the ragged clothes he was wearing. Clearly he didn't have alot of credits, or a way to gather good clothes. "I was raised in space, raised by the smugglers that you killed. I don't regret their deaths; I don't think of them as family. They never thought of me as much either, anyway. But I have to wonder... had you not been nearby... had you not killed them... what would be of me? I'd probably grow to be a smuggler myself..." Now that he thought of it, Lalita did spare him with no apparent reason. How did she know of his power? Could she tell just by sensing it within him? Through the Force? The more he knew, the more he didn't know, and the more questions gathered.

Lalita nodded, listening, she could see and hear he had so many questions. "Ask them." she told him.

Talath gulped, took a deep breath and looked at his master. "Why... why did you spare me? What was it that prevented you from striking me down as you did for the rest of the crew?"

"You don't appreciate me sparing your life?" she asked lifting an eyebrow.

Talath gulped once again. "Don't take me wrong, Master... I... I just don't know what to think of it. I am grateful -- you took me out of a petty life and showed me that I am far more greater than I would ever think..." As he said this, he thought of how he could move objects with his mind now, see without his eyes, and even feel presences, "...but I don't know what to think. These past few hours have twisted my life inside out, I don't know what lies ahead..." He took a deep breath, closing his eyes and expanding himself within the Force. "Sorry about my rants, Master. I will keep y questions to myself; I'm sure the answers will present themselves when the time is right."

"That is why we all meditate, the Force has its ways of revealing answers to our questions." she explained, "Meditate with me, close your eyes, explore the galaxy with the Force." Lalita closed her own eyes breathing calmly.

Meditation? Well, this was new -- as everything up until now. Talath closed his eyes as Master Lalita told him to do, and he expanded himself through the Force. He could feel his master and the corpse, then he could feel the temple expand, the planet, and eventually the Galaxy. As he felt it, he let the Force flow through him like a great river. The temple's own aura infected him, and the Dark Side flown through him. His irises gained a yellow taint as his eyes widened, his body levitating lightly from the ground as his mind experienced something greater than he could ever imagine. He felt like he could move mountains with the slighest amount of willpower, or kill with a mere look.

But that lasted little more than a second. Just as it started, it was over, the yellow taint retracted back leaving the brownish iris and letting Talath fall to the ground on his knees and hands breathing heavily. Just what had that been!? He looked up at Lalita, confused but amazed at this. "What... what just happened to me!?"

Talath raised one of his eyebrow muscles, since he had no eyebrows at all. For a cold blood murderer such as herself, Lalita seemed quite calm and odd all in one. It was a strange woman no matter how he looked at her, but it was something that compelled him towards her. And as such, he complied to her command, and closed his eyes once again. Breathing in and out slowly and timely, Talath let his mind expand, but this time he kept in check how fast it was expanding lest it would flood his mind once again. This time, he took in every little bit before progressing, feeling the garden around him, then progressing further into the temple. It was all full of life, and yet, so shrouded in darkness. This whole planet was, it seemed like a Nexus of the Force, if Talath knew what a Nexus was.

Talath let the Force and the Dark Side speak to him. And oh, that was music to his ears. But the whispers were in such order that Talath couldn't quite make out what they meant, it was all still new to him. He didn't dismiss them though, because now he knew -- or at least, he interpreted the whispers based on his own knowledge -- that it was the Dark Side of the Force that made him feel so powerful. He knew that he had a destiny to fulfil, and that had been the reason why fate and the Force had worked their way to join up Lalita and Talath in some way. This was his destiny.

He opened his eyes once again, facing Master Lalita. In his mind, he could still hear the whispers; they would never cease to speak. "Shall we proceed, Master?"

"What did you experience my pupil." she asked him, stopping her whispers, the plants seemed to turn to Talath as though listening also.

Talath couldn't help but to grin. When he spoke, his voice wasn't shaky as before. Instead, it was secure, as if he was certain of everything. "I felt..." Talath tried to describe it, how to put into words the experience that had occoured; how he felt so powerful as to crush whole worlds under his grip. "I felt... the Dark Side of the Force; it is within me, I can't explain it. I guess this was just meant to be; you were to rescue me from that ship so that I could find the Dark Side within me, Master Lalita." He was calm, and despite the whispering keeping up non stop, Talath just felt his skin crawl up; he was listening to the Force, to the Dark Side.

"Very well." Lalita stood up slowly pleased with her student, "Now I believe I can tell you what's next." she beckoned him to follow. Out of the garden, and deeper into the Bogan Temple. She brought her student into a fairly large room filled with obstacles. On the table beside them lined training sabers.

Talath folllowed without contesting, and this time around he walked with more confidence in his steps, as if he was no longer the innocent kid he was upon entering the Temple. The retrospective the Temple had allowed him to see sure changed Talath, and now he looked much more like a Dark Jedi than a few minutes ago, though there was still much untapped fear within him, along with potential.

Upon arriving on the room, he made notice of the obstacles and the lightsabers... "Interesting...", he thought to himself.

"Pick up a training blade, you will be taught how to fight. To maim. To kill. A brilliant weapon." explained Lalita, "However, its never my first choice." she added as an fyi. She took out her own blade and ignited it. Glowing red she adjusted it to a nonlethal level.

Talath was in awe as he watched and listened to Lalita. He would learn... how to fight... to maim... to kill! That brought a small grin to the corner of his lips. It seemed whatever innocence he had was gone from the boy. He extended his hand to the counter, focusing on the training saber that was nearest to him. It jerked slightly, and again, refusing to obey Talath's command. "Get over here!" Getting annoyed seemed to do the trick, and the saber flew from the table straight into Talath's upper left open hand, which closed on the saber, gripping it tightly. There was a small knob; flickering it, the blade sprung upwards with a hissing noise, which was replaced just as quickly as it sprang with a comfortable humming... Talath liked this weapon. He swung it towards his left, watching as the hum was intensified just by swinging it, but also noting that there was no weight whatsoever on the blade; it was all focused on the hilt. Talath knew how to swing a stick, but this saber put things things in a whole other perspective. He swung it towards his right, his right hand then picking up the hilt as dominant hand, and his left moving to the end of the grip. His other two lower arms widened as if he was about to grapple, just as he widened his legs so to lower his center of gravity and gain more stability.

"I am ready, Master."

Talath almost forgot how fast Lalita was. As soon as he saw hew lightsaber aiming to take his life, Talath lifted his own training saber and almost made the mistake of putting it too upwards, forgetting the deal with the weight. Fortunately, the thought crossed his mind and he simply positioned the hilt so that the energy blade could parry the blow, preventing him a nasty burn.
