"Luck." she spat, then gave some distance before striking again, throwing her saber overhead and down at Talath.

This time around, she came from above. Talath feared he may not have been able to properly parry such a strike, at that speed and from that angle it could get messy for him, so he simply jumped to his side. However, it was a sloppy footwork, and he overdid it; any advantage from sidestepping had just been lost. Despite this, he insisted, and threw a swing of his own, remembering to simply twist the hilt on his hands for a fast strike, unlike swinging his arms and waist for a strong one which would not be necessary at this moment.

"Not any better, not any worse." she told him, her blade hitting his, she snapped it back, "You're scared. Such a weakness." spat the woman; she could feel his nervousness in the Force, she became harder on him. Lalita didn't give him a chance to get to his feet, striking him again.

Talath started to feel a ardor atop of his stomach; Lalita was getting on his nerves. He could almost tell where she was going to attack, but her speed -- and Talath's own -- didn't give him much window to counter attack. He only had time to bring the hilt up to parry the attack, focusing in an attempt to prevent the loss of a limb.

"Where's your hate and anger? Your feelings are disgusting." she struck at him again.

Talath replied just as Lalita spoke. "You want hate!?" He parried the oncomming blow, but forced his way against Lalita for a secong. "You want anger!?" With those words he lifted one of his arms, and another training saber flew to his lower hands; this time, it literally flew off the table, as Talath's anger pulsed within him as Lalita bullied him. Activating as soon as it got on his hand, he swung it belllow the clashed saber above, aiming at Lalita's mid-section. "Taste it!"

Lalita stepped back from Talath's retaliation, the blade cutting the air before her; she gave a smirk, "Finally you're ready to play." she rolled her eyes. She circled the pupil and sent her blade to his back.

"Freakin'!..." The words escaped his mouth as he followed Lalita's movement, and once the blade went for his back he dropped, feeling it humming dangerously close to his head; fortunately it didn't maim any of his precious lekku. As a counter, he threw his lower arm upwards, the hilt of the lightsaber being held at its reversed position so it would have a larged arc of attack, aiming at Lalita's left side and leg.

Lalita leaped back, she had to think on that one. She waited for him to attack again.

The wisest thing to do, on this instance, was to hold back and let Lalita attack. She was far more experienced that Talath, who had just picked the sabers for the first time, and the slightest mistake could get him in trouble. But Talath didn't think -- not now when his anger was pulsating within him. It seemed that all the years he had passed cowering before fear and keeping everything inside had made him resentful, and he was using everything he had -- fear, anger, lust for promissed power -- in order to hurt Lalita.

And as such he lept forth, then rushing towards Lalita and in a swing of his right saber he aimed to bisect her just under the chest. He kept the other at bay for any kind of counter attack.

Lalita threw out her hand, stopping the pupil with the Force. "Control. Though our emotions is what fuels us, you must think rationally." she explained, "If the Bogan were irrational we wouldn't be here now would we." she told him, releasing him slowly. "A good start, you have to think fast, don't expect anything, just listen and it will guide you." she turned off her lightsaber and tucked it into her cloth belt.

"As in all fighting there are many forms, there is the Makashi, its a more formal fighting style, and the greatest against other lightsabers, but it will leave you vulnerable against dirty fighters. There is the Soresu, a passive style, where you play the defense, until the offense wears out or quits, or for you to escape. Ataru, is a more aggressive form, but requires lots of energy and agility. Then Shien-Djem So, combines Soresu with more offensive attacks of ataru, and the effectiveness against lightsabers of Makashi. Last is Niman, were all forms of lightsaber combat is combined into this form." Lalita explained, she was silent for a moment, "You may pick one that will fit you the best. Consult the Force to make sure your choice is right, or you may face direr consequences."

Talath felt pressure against him, as Lalita stopped him without touching him. Her mastery of telekinesis was undoubtfully high, though Talath was not heavy at all, and so easy to stop for a good enough user. He heard her carefully, and pondered on her words... Quickly he reached a conclusion. "Ataru." He spoke the word outloud. "I like the sound of... agressiveness..."

"Very well." she said and begun teaching the student.

"Vulnerable areas: Head, arm, torso, legs, hands...these areas are what you aim for. Sun Djem: disarming: learn to protect your saber from other Force users, a simple pulse," Lalita held out her hand to pull his saber away from him, "Could result in an undesirable consequence."

She held out her blade as well as her newly acquired blade from Talath. This exercise will help him practice his telekinesis as well. She gripped her blade and held out Talath's blade. "Call for your blade, then try mine."

Talath's cheeks grew hotter, as his lightsaber was taken from his hand so easily. Once Lalita told him to try it on her, Talath lifted both his upper hands and reached out towards both lightsabers in Lalita's hands, aiming for a strong impulse to rip the lightsabers right out of her hands. "Get over here!"

Lalita let the blades escape from her hands, but before they reached Talath, she pulled on them also, playing a game of tug-a-war.

It was a bit of a stretch, to be playing around with his recently awakened powers like that on the first day of using them, but Talath didn't give up, not yet. He reached out, he reached in, he reached to the Force and let his anger fuel him in reaching to the Dark Side of the Force, wanting more power in order to rip the lightsabers from his Master's grip. "More... More... Come here!!!"

Lalita felt a surge of power and released the sabers back to her pupil, "If I can take your saber away again, pray I won't cut you down with it." she warned him.

Lalita raised her blade showing Talath several defensive positions, "This will protect you from attacks from the head, torso, left side, right side, and your legs." she explained moving the blade as she did, "These are also where you will attack, and this is also where your attacker will expect you to attack."

"The advantage of Ataru is it being quick and relentless to overwhelm your opponent." Lalita explained.

Talath held his sabers with a firm grip, relaxing his wrists. His lower arms, which held no lightsaber, relaxed a bit downwards, but still at ready in case he needed them. He listened to Master Lalita's words, and took them in, trying his best to memorize the cutting angles and targets. So far, it seemed pretty basic. Speed was something that should be easy for him to achieve for a light-weight being such as himself. "Yes, Master Lalita..." That should be enough for him to express he had understood both the Ataru explanation, as well as the threat to his life should he lose his lightsabers again.

If he wanted to keep up, it would seem he would have to give everything he had learned so far... it was time for him to flow with the Force... He repeated the excercise at the garden, letting the Force flow through him, fueling him. He was ready, but this time instead of giving Master Lalita a chance to attack him, he attacked first so as to not be open himself. Poor judgment, courage or madness -- one of these seemed to flow through Talath now.

With a quick jump forwards, he ran up to Master Lalita, ending with a quick spin on his axis, swinging his lightsabers from right to left, one at chest level, the other aiming to the legs.

"Impulsive." she roared at him as he attempted to strike Lalita in vulnerable areas, she pushed herself off the ground into the air with a Force jump, coming back down with control behind her pupil, "Being impulsive will get you killed, use your emotions with control. Listen to the Force, as you call upon it, it still knows more than you." her saber was pointed at his back, "Now turn around and fight." she commanded.

"Yes..." A simple word flew from his lips before he reacted. He expected Master Lalita to deflect his attacks, and it would have been foolish of him not to expect her to jump behind his back... again. With a quick spin of his left saber, he aimed to her torse with a vertical slice, while the other arm swung from the opposite direction with a cross swing, hoping to reach his Master, though it would surely be all in vain. Wouldn't it?
