Lalita blocked the vertical swing, but had to move quickly out of reach for his next swing of his saber, "Better." she said.

The Master and her pupil spent hours going back and forth before even herself was starting to feel exhausted. She blamed old age. He was gaining better control of himself and the Force, and that was what she wanted to see.

Lalita extinguished her blade, her hand held out creating a force bubble between her and Talath to stop their sparing. "You are becoming better than what I have expected from you Talath. For now, lets stop and meditate." she told him sitting with a long relaxing sigh.

The breathing of the creature training under Lalita was hard and fast; despite everything, he had been giving his best, and though it was not enough to fully keep up with Master Lalita, it was enough to nearly deplete his stamina, had he not been careful. He was slowly catching up on the style, on the needs of the lightsaber and of the Force. But he clearly had many rough edges which he would need to tend to if he was to become a true Bogan. But he was definitly on his way.

Master Lalita called off the sparring session, but Talath was not yet convinced. Not until he took a step forth, and felt great resistance against his advance, resistance which didn't budge at the first nor at the second try. He realized it was Master Lalita, and so he didn't force it. Instead, he joined his Master in sitting as he disconnected his lightsabers, all the while without a single word, looking her with a renewed confidence, one he did not have upon arrival on the planet.

"No peace, only suffering..." Lalita begun to repeat quietly, "no knowledge, only instinct...no serenity, only passion...no harmony, only chaos...no life, only death..." she said out loud for her pupil to hear. "This is the code of the Bogan, what does it mean to you Talath?"

Talath heard once again the Code of the Bogan. Truth be told, he hadn't given it much thought yet; when it was first spoken he was still a bit too stunned to completely absorb it and try to uncover any kind of meaning for him. Plus, right after that his Master had asked him what were his weaknesses, leading him to an angry burst that didn't give him any further time to think. But now, he had to explain what the code meant to him; it would seem he would have to search within himself, within his feelings and within the Force what it was that the Code meant.

And so he did; deepening himself away from his body and letting his mind dwell deep into the Force, he entered into what could be a very sloppy yet efficient meditation trance. As he did, he searched for the meaning of the words spoken on the Code... And he remained in silence for a few minutes with his eyes closed before speaking again.

"Upon birth begins our journey into life. People search for a purpose, a philosophy, power, knowledge, wisdom... all in vain. The universe, wrapped in chaos, fills their lives with challenges of all kinds... and in the end, it only brings suffering. No matter how much they strive, only through their most basic instincts can they find the means for survival. Serenity cannot bring you closer to your goals, only your passion. Harmony falls with the small things, consumed by chaos. In the end, all the turmoil is put to an end by any kind of fatal event. The only thing that is sure to every living creature."

He opened his eyes after his little speech. "No peach, only suffering. No knowledge, only instinct. No serenity, only passion. No harmony, only chaos. No life... only death." Upon speaking the Code, Talath felt a great surge of power bubbling within himself... The Dark Side was stirring deep within him, breaking the chains that made Talath a mere being and starting to shape him into a Bogan more and more.
