Although to be fair, the tech isn't exactly a farcry from the shit SW has and if anything it's a hell of a shock to not see it here yet, but I'm also no fool and know why certain things haven't been shown/done before in SW.

And on the no fool part, trust me Brock, I'm no fool when it comes to designing things to fit in a universe lol

I'm not claiming you are a fool. Just make sure that you design this in such a way that not only will it fit for star wars tech, but also so that it's balanced, and, well, hopefully different enough you don't get called out for making a copy.

I have a lot of ideas. I still want the equivalent of the mosquito aircraft. But what I really think is needed is a mine.

I have 2 ideas.

1 a proton torpedo sized Mine. Fitted with passive sensors, painted star spekel black and powers by fuel cells. It will have enough power for 1 earth year and blast 4x that of a proton torpedo or ion torpedo. It can all so be fitted to detect a IFF transponder.

Second mine is basically the same only it's 10 times bigger and needs a freighter or bigger ship to deploy.

If you want to look at DC for inspiration, I would suggest the wings Fire-Fly has in the Arkham Game Series. Quite simple, rocket jets under the wings and thrusters on the tips, the wings tilt on a 'ball-socket' which allows very high maneuverability.
