To give you some backstory, Sreeya and I originally talked about doing this battle on Tanaab, but then Santoro went and started to have a battle on Tanaab. I suggested Ruan, and then Sreeya noticed there's a Noob Hill on Ruan -- and we simply could not pass up the opportunity to have the Battle of Noob Hill.

No matter how I ration the name, I just cannot take "Noob Hill", let alone "Battle of Noob Hill" seriously. Homage or not, the author who made up that name shouldn't have been allowed near a pencil.

Each time I see it, my mind goes "Battle of Ruan".

I think the author did a very good job. It's an original name, it sounds beautiful and also a little bit eerie... as if creepy and wicked things are going to happen there. I, for one, think it's a brilliant name.

Battle of Ruan also won't be a name for this battle, since it's not a battle and it's not nearly extensive enough to be considered a planet-wide battle.

One entitiy stood out as being far stronger than the rest. Local rumor and some brief intelligence sweeps suggested it was one of the highest ranked Bogan but exact ranks would be hard to determine given they were a newly forged empire.

I'm fairly certain you wouldn't know any of this before hand, unless I'm mistaken. We moved to where a small jedi outpost was, not the other way around.

I think Sheo means the Jedi wouldn't know the individual Bogan on Ruan, not that they wouldn't know the Bogan were on Ruan.

Not really, palpatine stood infront of the jedi council. Hell my first Bogan stood infront of the jedi council.

And nexus had the right of it. Wouldn't know THE Bogan is there, not the bogan.
