The Battle of Zigoola OOC

Thread.

Rebels, primarily Mandalorians, have carried out a daring move. In hopes of rescuing their comrade Sionann Iota, who was captured by Rookwrr at Yinchorr, they tracked Rookwrr's ship to the Phantom Palace, the Dark Lord's private retreat. Not only is Iota here, but also Larik Novan, who was captured by the Sith after the ill-fated Mission to Dis. Unfortunately, both Darth Somnus and Rookwrr are present at Phantom Palace on Zigoola. One could see this as a curse, but for Sisk Renelo, this is an opportunity to get revenge on Rookwrr, who killed his wife.

This thread will serve as an OOC discussion for the participants. Non-participants are also free to post here if they have any questions, comments, etc. We hope you enjoy the thread.

Sionann does not want to be locked up in her own personal hell forever. First opportunity he gets, and anyone who gives it to her, she is going to GTFO, what happens after that is purely up to the plot and if she can get a grip on herself.

Crushing Sisk's visor alone seems like it would take a lot of precision, concentration, and perhaps time. Especially after blocking several bullets. Speaking of the barrier, Rook would have had to do that INSANELY fast to block those rounds.

He has a full second, which is plenty of time for Jedi/Sith. And maybe, maybe not. Glasteel is as strong as durasteel, yeah, but it's going to be way more brittle. All he needs to do is deform it and it breaks, whereas durasteel would bend a little. And even if it doesn't shatter, it could still crack and obscure vision.

Edit: As far as precision goes, Rook has favored precise use of TK over broad-sweeping attacks since he was an acolyte. Precise attacks is kinda his thing, so it's reasonable enough to say he can use the force with that level of precision.

Best case scenario for Rook it would take a full second, perhaps less from when the sonic round fired to when you could create a shield, but it would still take time, focus, and energy, and cannot be done instantly.

Plus, at that distance, I believe around 50 meters, it would take some fine manipulation, which I don't believe could be done at that distance without meditation. I was also under the impression Rook was more of a duelist, and not AS proficient with force powers.

He has what, 1.56 seconds to put up a barrier? That's time enough.

So was Dooku, and he wasn't a pansy with the force. And TK is Rook's single most-used power (apart from telepathy).

I'm not gonna argue this more as I don't want this OOC devolving into the typical mess that combat threads tend to generate. If Sisk has an issue with it he can bring it up.
