Since the Hutts are going to be a faction, are we allowed to create crime bosses for it? I've had one that I've used reference-wise and in the backstory, etc, of two characters (Fy and Atin, the latter being archived) that was mid-level and I figure now's a chance to see his perspective.

You can, but it's just like earning any other rank in a group, you probably won't be able to start out as a crime boss without faction leader approval unless you work your way up the chain.

We're finishing Coruscant and we're finishing the write ups. We know that it's in the next few weeks, we just don't know an exact date. I'm not going to set an exact date until we finish each write up and can release them to you all, at which point we can say "ok, you have 2/3/whatever many weeks to familiarize yourself with this and get ready."

Previous time skips and timeline changes were sprung on people. We're doing our best to be as methodical and helpful as possible on this one.

Should we wait until after the time skip to try and sign up for a major faction? With it coming so close and all, and the risk of the sign up post getting lost, forgotten, or what have you when the site change occurs.

Coruscant is already being fubar'd. You're supposed to be escaping or going underground. If you're on the surface, or anywhere where you're able to see what's happening, logically you're going to die. We're not auto-killing anyone, but I posted those "Leave or die" posts for a reason.

If you want to do something where you were underground but then eventually go back up to see the devastation, I'd encourage you to make your own thread. We can't keep these current ones going on forever.
