Location : Jungles of Numidian Prime | Objective : Find rare ores, avoid roving criminal gangs

Being on Numidian Prime was interesting - breathing meant one was basically drinking air all day, it was thick, humid and hot. Unbearable in his opinion. Despite just landing not too long ago, sweat was already collecting on his skin. His shirt clung to his back and Judah was reconsidering the practicality of the entire shaggy hair and beard look. Yet this excursion wouldn't be forever, a few days if he had to estimate. Get in, see if the caverns had the rumored ores contained inside, make some notes and avoid criminals.

Criminals and bounty hunters considered him the most. He wasn't a wanted man but he worried about possibly being captured and held for ransom. Judah wasn't a rich man nor was his family, but he had heard stories of such things in the 'verse. Perhaps it was just a worry of simple backwater people like himself, leaving the safety of the known meant everyone was something to be suspicious of.

Which is why he had brought two hired guards for hire, Rodian brothers who assured him they had lots of experience in dealing with criminals. They might be criminals themselves, Judah didn't pry too deep into the backgrounds. It was probably for the best.

"Let's get moving, the quicker we get into the caverns the better..."

"You seem to have a lot of confidence when it comes to this, Captain. It took us long enough to get here. Shouldn't we have brought more?" Siria Zale said underneath her helmet. Since last venturing out into the void with Newton Arden of Blackwell, she had to get her ship repaired. In the process the Senator of Tirahnn requested additional modifications from her private ship mechanic to soup up the luxury yacht. For now it was parked back at home and the woman had taken a courier with an escort of ten CT-O starfighters attending. A System Defense Force Captain led aboard the ship and was advising for this expedition and replied respectfully. "We will be fine. More attracts more is what I always say."

The Pleiades droids were being tested to see if they would be suitable for the Senator's personal bodyguard service and even law enforcement for Tirahnn. There were certain advantages to having droids and the machines were expected to be high quality. Coming to a location were smuggler's go to avoid conflict would strike a blow to the underworld and disrupt illegal operations. Gaining of foothold in the midrim for her own system's benefit was on her mind. But for now they were just going to capture a smuggling ring with the aid of the droids.

Hopefully there wouldn't be any trouble but the woman had been attacked a few times since becoming Senator. Siria had to remind herself that this wasn't just about her. Merchant princes of Tirahnn were rumored to be invested in the hidden trades going on here as well and cutting out that corruption would please the woman. On her left hip she carried the hilt of a lightfoil while on her right thigh she had a prized westar blaster pistol. However she didn't expect to use either of them today provided the droids did well and so did her the Captain.

The courier would touch down in an opening. Non-natural formation that revealed themselves to be stone ruines dotted the edge. It would be a hasty offboarding of the ship and venturing into the edge of the Jungle before the ships would ascend once more into orbit and maintain a safe distance.

The only difference between a prayer and a curse is the one who stands to profit.

"Blasted, chuff-sucking, womprat!" Danger muttered under her breath, lips twisting in growing displeasure as her vibrant green eyes flashed emerald fire.

Deedat Pa -a Rodian with an itch to feel Danger's boot ram up his ass - was late. More than thirty minutes late. The petty criminal of the Chevat Gang was her contact for the drop of weapons she was making. Over more than a few bottles of vice, Danger and Deedat had come to an arrangement; an accord if you will. The Rodian would provide the ore Danger was requesting in barter for the racks of salvaged Blastech blaster rifles he was keen on procuring.

Now, the blasted Jactna was late, and an inkling down her spine was telling her that perhaps this was an itch she shouldn't have scratched. To top it off, out in the distance, a group that was unfamiliar to her was already heading into the cavern she done spent two bottles of fine Corellian whiskey getting the nav points of.

"Nek take it!" she cursed, shoving her hand through her thick locks of auburn hair, raking them away from her freckled, tanned face, twisting full lips into a scowl.

"Get me Deedat on the comm and tell him he better have a damn good reason why someone else is goin' in that blasted cavern. " she snapped out, fire in her words and a challenge glinting in her eyes.

"Gwarraahhh!" Roghar would growl, the towering grey hair Wookiee at Danger's back would answer. Snatching a pair of macro-binoculars, Danger peered out towards @Judah Dashiell and his group, unbeknownst of the party @Siria Zale would bring upon them.

Caves near his boyhood home had been different. They were dry, dusty affairs with copious amounts of rocks and gravel. This planet seemed intent on making everything hard for him. Hot and sticky. Caverns filled with bits of moss and slime, the sounds of water dripping echoed throughout. It made for some rough travels, even for the two slender Rodians who had been hired to join him.

"The echoing, the dripping makes it difficult to hear." Freisk, the more senior Rodian, commented. Judah noted the other, Sormm, didn't speak much. A lot of nodding and gesturing. Judah suspected the others handle of basic was shaky or perhaps he feared Freisk. Judah had heard stories - possibly stretching the truth but he wasn't going to personally risk it.

"I agree. The stones make it difficult to maneuver too. If we come across some people...well, we may have to take action first."

"Graah, raaa, grrroorawwgh!" Roghar would growl out to her, explaining what Danger should have known. Good o'l, blasted Deedat was nowhere to be found.

When I get my hands on his scrawny, scaley neck, I'm gonna...

"Of course," Danger gave an irritated mutter, full lips twisting in displeasure. Odds were that the Rodian had sold the coordinates to several others, trying to glean as much credit as he could. Bringing the macrobinoculars up, the redhead squinted emerald eyes over towards the entrance again. Blast, they were already on the move!

"Roghar, gather up. Time to come face to face with the would-be trespassers and stake our claim!" of course, it was a matter of perception on who was 'tresspassing'.

Either way, Danger gave the macrobinoculars to Segwa, a Devaronian whom she'd hired for the extra muscle. Not that she needed much with Roghar around.

"Alright boys, time to get to chattin'." Danger said, raking her fingers through her auburn hair to push back the damp strands away from her sweaty face.

Leading the way, she headed towards Judah's group.
