Siria Zale, was a Tirahnn born and raised near-human. She was a politician for a time, trying to live up to her family's legacy. Generations of her family being in politics one way or another have led her to be of a similar mind. Siria's older brother, Daniel, was no different. Growing up in a middle class home on Tirahnn had its benefits and she was taught that despite their relative affluence, they had a responsibility to their people and planet. Service for the people, for something greater than one's self was important in the Zale house hold.

When Siria was of age she went to Coruscant University to study. After graduating with high marks she returned to Tirahnn. In the wake of the Coruscant prison break there was much to do. Recent events continued to build and with each passing week Siria knew actions were needed and new headings made.

Senator

Early career consisted of Senator Zale reaching out to nearby systems that still are more difficult to traverse due to hyperspace anomalies and risks. Pushing for an initiative to add more hyper wave relays and better communication is still a movement she's trying to push but the wheels of bureaucracy move slow. There was plenty to do and a large galaxy to improve.

The Senator of Tirahnn visited Mon Cala but an attempt on her life was made. All of her droid bodyguards were captured and her ship destroyed it difficult to learn who the perpetrator was. However Siria survived albeit narrowly by slipping into a coma. It would be fifteen years before the woman would wake from this state.

The galaxy has changed and at the same time stayed the same in the fifteen years Siria has been unconcious. She is no longer a Senator of her homeworld and her family needs her aid. The galaxy is just as in need as ever but the ex-politician no longer has at her disposal the influence and resources she once had. This will not deter her from trying to return to some semblance of her former life and continue on her journey to improve the livelihood of her people and the greater galaxy.

Abilities & Tendencies

At a distance Siria seems like a serene and approachable as any woman her age. When she is around friendly people she can be a positive source in the room. However she takes her job seriously, especially when it comes to her homeworld and the people she cares about.

While her home life was fairly sheltered and safe compared to how hard it can be for some, it was a consistent characteristic that her parents teach her brother how to defend himself. At first Siria thought Daniel was the man and would be traveling primarily. But Siria was not spared the trips with her parents which taught her how to use a blaster and fly starships. Other resources and skills were picked up here and there and only now as she talks among her fellow politicians is she realizing that not everything about her life is average or predictable.

Whenever in doubt, Siria looks at her own family's reputation and of the galaxy's finest examples. Padme Amidala, Leia Organa Solo, and of course her own great ancestor, Keira Zale. Her hunger for resolution is both the main source of her stress but a motivator to not give up. As stubborn as they come, Siria's mind and inexperience in politics compared to some make her out to be a stubborn idealist. This can put her at odds with the more veteran members of the galaxy's politicking but to the woman, she just sees it as a hill that still needs climbing.

Siria is thankful to her family for taking care of her when she was vulnerable and now seeks to help them return to stability after difficult times. She is loyal and determined to follow through with her intentions though she is having to explore other methods. Some of which make her uncomfortable but she views it as having little to no choice these days.

As a member of the aristocracy of Tirahnn, Siria Zale has access to some assets her family owns. However these have waned in the past decade and are fewer than she had before.
