You would have the opportunity to remove your immortality as Sin said you would only be ageless but not actually immortal. Though I'm not sure why immortality would suck unless you took it to an extreme like trillions of years.

Plus, if I lived in a cave I could invite some kids and we could go on an otherworldly adventure with LSD and ponies and the like.

I've already outlived quite a few of my relatives. While it would suck to lose all of them, you would have the chance to also gain a lot of new relatives as well as friends.

Even though I am a night person (my sleep pattern inverts during the summer) I'd have to say no. No one is looking at the draw backs. The Vampire curse is after all a curse.

Especially for those who are religious. Do you really think God has any place in his halls for a demon? Especially if you willingly gave up your humanity? Not a chance. You would most likely, unless the inheritor of a large personal fortune, be degraded to the point of squatting among the homeless.

However, I agree with Kurt, I'd definitely go half-human half-vampire. Really, the only thing that detracts me is not being able to go on in the sunlight. If that wasn't part of the curse, I'd probably agree to it.

You seem to forget there aren't a lot of people in the far Northern Arctic and no people in Antarctica. You know, your food source.

Vampires can't realistically sustain themselves with any level of comfort unless they're in a cosmopolitan city like London, Paris, Berlin, or New York.

There are researchers on both poles and inuits at the north pole. Plus, there should be enough seals and penguins to survive on if people are in short supply.

Or maybe you could live around the Tierra del Fuego and Greenland so you would only have a couple hours to worry about.
