I have edited my post to make the timing of my attack clearer. She’s attacking before the Wook finishes his first sentence, and you’ve stated that your senator attacks after he finishes that sentence.

Secondly, do not accuse me of being shady. You want to report me, do so, but I will not have a baseless accusation made of me in this ooc thread. I did not dedicate myself to your side OOCly over discord, I explicitly said, “Nora will only stay with you if you look like you could win.” With wook offering more money and Clayton’s dedication to his character’s reputation, you do not look like you can win. That out of the way, the next time this is brought up should be in a report if you believe my behavior is rule breaking, or not at all.

@Black Noise This does fall under OOC deception, which we have a rule for:

Subsection N: OOC deception will not be tolerated. Lying about circumstances in a thread OOCly will result in consequences. Deception still requires IC reasons. A character or writer cannot be targeted solely for OOC reasons. Exceptions to OOC deception are located in SECTION VII.

Looking at conversation logs, it appears you conveyed one thing to Caz via discord, and then changed your mind almost an hour after the fact and once Caz and co. had already posted according to the OOC agreement. This does fall under OOC deception, and you are to edit out the part where you attack Caz's char abruptly. HOWEVER, Nora's IC nature must also be respected, which means she is at liberty to switch sides if she desires. This means that next turn Nora can attack the Republic characters and vice versa, but not this turn.

Ruling: Black Noise is to edit out Nora attacking this turn (she may get into position and whatnot) and Republic characters may suspect that Nora is, in fact, on Wook's side. Nora is free to attack next turn she is up to post. This ruling is final.

Just a few timing things I want to clarify before we get too far in.

Serena had already turned and been aiming her rifle roughly near to Nora. When you open the door and begin speaking, she then shoots you which should be a simple aim not her getting out her rifle, then shooting you. You have to draw all she has to do is a slight movement and squeeze the trigger. Her shots would be coming in hot and fast, not last so after all that action you block her with the lightsaber. By then you'd have been down.

Related to the last bit. I know you're level 3 and can do a lot, but your order and time taken to do all these moves while we shoot seems a stretch. Yes you allowed Kelly to say she would be hitting you, but we all had our weapons ready unlike you did so I feel opening the door and speaking, then getting shot at would take more than you're giving. Your first post was your intro and we took fire at you deciding to speak to us a lot. Then you changed it to say while you were speaking you got weapons out. You had already said your weapons would be nearby and ready while speaking, not being drawn during.

Well no, that is not quite accurate. Kelly draws on him first. Serena is second and doesn't start shooting until he finished the first sentence.

It did not take much movement, if any, for her to fire two shots towards the legs of the The Wook the moment he finished his first sentence.

Second, The Wook had his pistol in his hand my opening post, so there's no problem there. His lightsaber obviously isn't so that doesn't get drawn until later. Serena is the only one on the Republic side with her rifle up and pointed at someone in the previous round, hence why she got to have a shot off at him.

Finally, him speaking that much obviously changes when Kelly decides to draw on him. He's not going to stand around twiddling his thumbs while everyone shoots at him. You can interrupt speech, but I can respond to that interrupt if feasible. Other than talking, he isn't physically doing anything that would prevent him from reacting to Kelly.

That's fair at the front but if you stopped talking you could never offer to Nora and Serena would have shot instantly if you had stopped and starting showing aggression. That works both ways.

All Kelly does is raise her blaster to fire, not pull it out from some storage. She fired four shots down range and you discussed exchanging shot for shot which would lock you in pretty tight and I don't think getting smacked in the chest repeatedly is going to let you force push very well.

Also you didn't clarify how wide the push was, as we are fairly spread out by now too with Kelly moving away from me in her post.

I wrote a blaster shot for a blaster shot. One from each party. The push interrupts followups, or throws their aim way off, as his shot would land first and arguably tweak her aim off from the impact. Wook still says his first sentence, but the threat to the Republic is unnecessary now, so he just didn't bother. Kelly doesn't move until two shots, and Odin doesnt move at first either. So you're all grouped close together when the push comes.
