I've personally found that most man/woman/things are terrifying
My Alliance character is going to be a former Padawan who got kicked out of the order for pranking everybody - and pranking them good.
My indie Jedi is going to leave the Order over philosophical differences and *possibly based on what the think tank comes up with) disagreeing on how the Order is handling the resurrgent Sith threat. He leaves and integrates himself into the seedier elements of society, becomes a smuggler, and I eventually hope to form a Talon Karrde esque organization devoted to destroying the Sith. I'm calling him the Knight-Errant in my head.
If someone does revive the collection of bounty hunters, can there be a different aside from the Bounty Hunter's Guild? I know they are the biggest house, but frankly the name is starting to sound stale. It simply isn't timeless like Jedi or Sith. How about coming up with a new name and an original guild? Like the Hydrian Manhunters or the Nightmen Raiders. Just something more unique than BHG.

Make up a word and say it's a predator found on Alderaan or something.Actually it might be a little more like this:
He doesn't want to be a Jedi Knight, and he tries to do everything he can to get kicked out, not realizing that he can just leave whenever he wants to. And when he leaves, he doesn't want to go back to his parents because his father is just a political man who got a wife and adopted a son for a political image, so - and I don't know if this would be allowed in the Order or not, but - his former Master raises him outside of the order as a father-figure, since he has nobody else to go to.
I don't care which Empire uses it whatsoever... but this has got to make an appearance.
