I've got no opinion on this but that's probably because I'm new. Unless something drastic occurs ICly (now that I can access the internet again), I'm sticking with the Mandalore, I'm not seeing any downside to us gaining three new territories to actually build upon rather than the few shanty bases we have on a few other planets. Maybe I'm just looking at this from an incorrect angle.

If you want to be taken seriously, don't look down your nose at other members. And if you want to remain a member of this site, you'll refrain from openly insulting members like that.

I'd like to reiterate the preference for civil discussion, however...

I can see a lot of reason in Qed's post. Sure, it may seem a bit harsh at first glance, maybe even through a second read, but lets remember, he is new to these boards, and is someone we're completely unfamiliar with. Internet miscommunications are inevitable, but I didn't see anything that was drastically uncalled for. Hell, I've seen harsher words, in a dead-serious manner, than his post countless times in OOC threads that barely border bickering.

Still, he has a valid point in the canonical sense of things, and how it would realistically play out, but this is still a free-form RP site, so not everything is going to be spot on. As for your comments regarding Arm, that discussion has been cooled and handled, but I agree that it had little to do with the actual situation at hand.

I don't have a registered Mando. Neither do several others that have posted in this thread. An OOC announcement isn't restricted to those that do. I hardly think Johny's announcement only affects Mando characters and players, since it has to do with the faction's standing and their position in the galaxy. This affects the timeline as a whole, and it shouldn't be viewed as an insider-thread for only the people you want to take part.

If you don't want people to 'worthlessly bitch' about a decision, I wouldn't bring it up out of the blew, without a managed and coordinated decision that's well-handled by a team. The Mandalorians have had OOC squabbles because people tend to turn them into arguments, not that a faction is cursed with insubordination.
