B I O G R A P H Y

Nar Shaddaa​

Myrell’anay was born not on Ryloth but on Nar Shaddaa, to a teenage Twi’lek mother and a father she would never know. She has no memory of either parent: her Force sensitivity manifested early, and for all intents and purposes Myrell was raised by the Jedi Order since her formative years.

Calm, intelligent and compassionate, she earned her knighthood in due course and quickly showed an affinity for diplomatic and non-combative work. Her skill with the Force far exceeded her skill with her blade. Her one calling, however, was healing. Myrell specialized in healing and protective Force powers and spent years studying mundane science to soothe without the help of the Force.

Through her life, Myrell found herself appointed to, and eventually in charge of, medical wards and facilities across the galaxy, seeing them through peacetime, wars and catastrophes alike. She has accumulated considerable experience and trained several Padawans, and her outlook is often appreciated; she has also seen more than her share of adversity and suffering, yet never once strayed from the path of the light. For this, she was offered a position with the Jedi Arbitration Corps, which she wields with restraint and reasonableness. Though her new functions have taken away from her diplomatic work, the aging knight still spends most of her time acting as a Jedi healer, offering relief where she is most needed.

A P P E A R A N C E

With her short stature and quiet demeanor, Myrell rarely attracts attention. She stands at 5’4”, weighs around 130 pounds and speaks in a soft, quiet voice. Her most noteworthy physical feature is how colourful she is, with her pale green skin and purple Twi’lek eyes. The sustaining properties of the light side of the Force let her age gracefully, but wrinkles are beginning to tug at the corners of her eyes and lips. As for her dress, Myrell generally wears light Jedi robes, almost always white with red accents to symbolize her status as a healer.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Myrell radiates wisdom and careful positivity, always trying to be kind and uplift the people around her. She wholeheartedly believes in all the principles of the Jedi and recites the Jedi code often. In accordance with these principles, she strives to always remain aware of her own emotions and keep them under control and she expects the same of others; she is also a convinced pacifist, opposing any form of violence save only in the clearest cases of self-defense. Myrell tries to see the good in all people and has a positive relationship with the Jedi she knows, only slightly tarnished by her occasional attempts to lecture them. Otherwise, she is a wise and caring friend and mentor, always willing to offer words of advice or comfort for others.

S K I L L S

Skilled user of the light side of the Force, especially when it comes to Force healing and protective powers; she wields basic powers (mind trick, telekinesis) at an appropriate level and has no use of other specialized powers outside her expertise (Force cloak, speed, blind, pyro/cryokinesis, etc.)

Beyond her Force powers, Myrell is an accomplished healer and has a vast knowledge regarding medicine, biology, and the anatomy of most species. She is a skilled manager, an active listener, and a quick learner. She can fly basic shuttles and transports though not warships, and she can’t wield a blaster. Despite her experience, having been with the Jedi Order her whole life means Myrell can sometimes be naive as to how the real world works.

She lacks any artistic skill, though some of her most cynical takes could be misconstrued as poetic.

1. Welcome Back — Returning from a quest, Ashen brings Myrell’anay a strange, centuries-old man for medical attention aboard Starlight. (Complete)

2. Unrazing the Razed — After Ezra Thorne roused the Jedi into action, Myrell joins a team of knights to Coruscant and the Grand Medical Facility, hoping to uncover information on Darth Raze’s abominations that ravaged the planet. (Stalled)

3. The Jedi Are Here — The Jedi gather again to report on the results of their missions facing Raze’s abominations and decide their next steps; Myrell shares chilling findings from Coruscant and vows to dig further into them. (Complete)
