Question, are Noghri canon? I know from there history they were involved in the clone wars when the war came to them but I don't remember that ever being shown in the series.

If they're not which I suspect will they be allowed in?

No, they aren't.

Maybe. They're a pretty culturally powerful species, but they may be ported over.

I hope so, the character I've designed with Nor'baal for his Czerka faction works perfectly as a Noghri.

so great !
Just when I join the whole site prepares to jumps to one of my favourite parts in the SW timeline. :)
Guess i'll just wait until we go there then. Or do you think it's wise to start a new character this late in this timeline?

@Eben Beru since you asked, I'll answer honestly and tell you to just wait. It's not that much longer to go until January [2 weeks give or take], and by then it's only a matter of time until this timeline is wrapped up. There's not much you could realistically accomplish with a character with what little time we have left in this timeline.

We don't put end dates on timelines, so there's no way of knowing. For reference, this is how long previous timelines lasted:
  • First timeline: 10 months
  • Second timeline: 2 years, 5 months
  • Third timeline: 1 year, 5 months
  • Fourth timeline: 2 years
  • Fifth timeline: 4 years, 5 months, and counting
So it greatly varies depending on the timeline.
Oh wow, I didn't realize the earlier timelines were so short. I hope the next one goes for three years at least, as I'm a person who develops their characters very slowly.

A question on Ithorians for the next timeline. I am currently putting the final touches to my Ithroian Jedi but I need a ruling on whether Ithorians can actually speak other languages besides Ithorese? Legends had them as being able two but with the distinctive stereophonic sound due to their two mouths. While canon states they need to wear special translators to convert their native language to basic just to be understood by those not versed in Ithorese.

@Aodán Sidal

Not an admin at all but I'm pretty sure its hard canon that their mouths literally can't make the sounds of the basic language. Like Wookies they just can't.

Which is fine with me if that is the case as it just makes rping that much more interesting. But I want to go for clarification as both sides say different things and it really changes how one would rp an Ithorian if they wanted to play one.

I don't think it'll be a big deal either way.

Ithorians used those translating things lots of times in TCW, which is canon.

I'm still quite excited for this. Beyond the canonical theft of the Darksabre during this time, the Gen Dai bounty hunter Durge was also alive and quite active during this time as he was born 2022yrs before the battle of Yavin. So it could be interesting seeing him referenced or even encountered at the height of his infamous career.

Im fairly certain that Durge is no longer canon.

Durge was a creation of George Lucas' at the art studio of Skywalker Ranch. So it's likely he is.

He's not. He's of the old animated Clone Wars, which is Legends now. However, he might re-emerge in the NuCanon, like Battlemaster Cin Drallig just did.

Well it's debatable as there were sketches for him to be in the newer Clone Wars. I like to think he still is anyways.

Durge is much more dangerous and iconic as a villainous bounty hunter than Bane was in my opinion. Though I do like him as well.

Durge is horrendously, ridiculously stupid. Even if he was canon we'd probably just ignore his existance for...many, many reasons.
