Izul slowly took his place before Father Time, un-hurriedly, he softly spoke with his own creator.

Father, I wish to enter the world. For every life, there must be a death. And that, Father, is to be my role.

No hint of emotion betrayed his 'voice', for there was no emotion to be betrayed.

I simply wish to serve my purpose.

Father Time responded with a kind smile. One of his oddest children stood before him, and asked a simple favour. He could not find a reason to deny him.

"Very well, my child. I will give you the gift of Death itself. You will be death, and it will be you. Until the end of time, you shall both walk the world as one. Take your domain, and go unto the world, my child"

Death made no response. He simply began the journey to Earth.

Iach heard the sobbing of the Earth and nature itself and knew that Kaba'al had done something terrible. He watched as the plants began to lose their luster and become brown and less vibrant.

Out of curiosity, Iach and his steed landed on the Earth's soil for the first time. Nearby, a group of humans saw him. Few wished to great him, many more wished to attack. The two subgroups began fighting each other verbally before one threw a rock at another. This was the first war between men.

Angered by their bickering and fighting, Iach drew his silver sword and swung it through a number of those who wished to attack him. However, they did not fall. Instead, they joined those who wanted to worship him. Joined those that kept their women in the rear of their lines, behind the men. And thus, Honor was created.

As the small war continued to rage around him, Iach rode his steed through the lands, searching for his brother Eldendur.

The figure watched. He was alone, and seperated from his brothers and sisters, he heard the Father's words, saw the earth, and watched his brothers descend onto the Tabula Rasa. For that is what it was, a clean slate, a place to prove themselves to their father by keeping it, or destroying it.

Illian chuckled as his brother spewed bile and descended to earth. Such a simple creature, destroy, hurt, maime, these where fun activities, but only to a degree. Comprehension was asension after all. Illian watched as his other brother walked the forests, he was sad. No reason to be sad, for change was a good thing, why not embrace the change his destructive brothers brought, without them, life would be.......boring.

Illian saw no need to go down to Earth, but on the other hand, what did he have to lose? Actually what did he have to gain? The answer: Cheese.

Chuckling, Illian walked forward.

His voice was clear, and became musical as he spoke, instead of kneeling, the god bowed.

"Ah, father time. You understand, for you exist, everything cannot stay the same for eternity, no this leads to complancency. Father your planet earth is, could be, under attack. So boooooooring, simply having things created, and destroyed, to have life born, and then killed. Always the same, always the same old cycle, and without my help, it will stay that way. Look at those poor humans, trying to comprehend my brother of War and Honor. Let me go down there. Let me introduce the finest cheeses of the land! Let me taste of the clouds! Wait...no, they taste like butter. Ive had them before. Ur makes them quite delicious I hear.....but I digress, let me spread comprehension throughout, let me take in those who cannot comprehend, and most of all, let me bring change, so much change that few can understand or comprehend, and in bringing in that change, let the world be balanced!"

Giggling, Illian looked down at his feet. Hmm.. new boots would be good too.

The rage god hears the sobs of his idiot brother, and he smiles. Yes, that is what he must do. Prove his dominance over the first to enter this realm and without more than a growl at Kaba'al he began to speed towards the Nature god on all fours.

His nose led him to Eldendur, and his snarled viciously.
"You who have entered Creation first. It is I, ruler of this realm. Face me, fool, so that I may know the look of one who has seen his end."

Slowly Ur descended from the nether and unto the island of Velrath. For awhile he stood upon a high hill, gazing in amazement at the wonders of Father Time's creation. Never had he beheld anything so pure and blissful. Everything about him seemed to meld together perfectly. The green fields, the flowers and the signing of birds. However something was missing. The celestial vault above him was dark and cold, and naught could be seen on its surface save for the fires of the stars. Thus, the God of Sky and Thunder, wishing to embellish the labour of his Father and brothers, reached out into the emptiness and took hold of Iria, the brightest star. Then, he used it as a paintbrush and turned the Void into the brightest of blue, much at the likeness of the fires of Iria.

Thus the heavens were created.

With bare traces of recognition, Elendur looked up, and beheld the face of one he had not seen for what seemed an age. Yet, he failed to make the connection between the face and the fact that it was is brother. All he knew was that he and his precious creations were now under threat by a foul menace, a twisted parody of the true beauty of the beasts of the wild.

And Elendur, Lord of the Living, felt fear. For in the naivete of his wandering, Elendur gave no thought to wars, or to conflict, for he had not witnessed his brother's malcontent at the Earth. Now he stood before one of his brothers, who threatened him with a concept he did not understand, and Elendr was meant to know what to do?

Still, Elendur did not show such emotions. HHi face grew unreadable, as if suddenly one was reading a book, and then the pages went blank, or the text changed to a different language. And so Elendur came to understand one of the first concepts of war, and of battle: the bluff.

"You are strange to me...yet familiar, at the same time. Regardlessly, you acted before you thought. Here...' and Elendur gestured around his self, to the trees, plants, the beasts and the wildlife around him, "Here, I cannot be defeated. Begone, foul being, lest you taste the wrath of all that is good and is growing in this world! I will not be cowed by one such as you!"

The land of Fath was a quiet land; simple and populated with small villages. The effects of his domain were going to overwhelm him soon; he must act fast. Approaching the shoreline, Ja came upon an elderly man; he seemed depressed.

His smoking body came as a definite shock to the old man, yet Ja's calming disposition gave him peace of mind. Sitting down on the log, next to the man, Ja spoke in his low voice.

"Such sullen attitude is a terrible thing to bear; why do you hold such depression?" He asked. "My wife died long ago and yet I can no longer see her face. All I have to remember her by is her memory and her grave." The old man replied, on the verge of tears.

"Fear not, wise man. When you sleep, think as much as you will about your loving wife and I promise that you shall see her face again." Ja promised. With a slight chuckle, the old man replied back, "You are so sure; yet I will have faith. Tonight, I will cherish her greatest memory."

And with that, the old man left his spot, leaving Ja to ponder. As the man returned to his hut, Ja drew deep from his center and conjoured a sylph-like woman. Her translucent appearence was similar to Ja's, yet her body did not smoke as he. "Go now, dear child. Follow that old man home, and give him this, when he sleeps," Ja took the woman's hand and, within it, layed a silvery orb; more astounding then the greatist pearl.

With a nod, the woman disapeared. As the old man slept, the woman crept to him and lay the orb onto his heaving chest. The orb sunk into his cot and entered his body, eventually creating a wonderful dream of the old man and his wife. When the old man woke, a single tear trickled down his face.

Returning to Ja, the old man broke down into an emotional wreck. However, more people had come; each hearing of the old man's unreality. Explaining his predicament, Ja informed the people that he would soon enter the realm of dreams and lay imobile. Offering the god a room in his cottage, a woman asked only for the chance to see her children once more. Using the rest of his energy, Ja conjured five more of his ghostly creatures. Three male, two female.

"My children, my time awake will not be long. I ask only that you give these people the dreams they seek. You must draw from my sleeping body, an orb to which you will send to each man and woman. However, there are far too many people who demand dreams. Onto you, I give you the chance to birth children. Your children will grow fast and it must be you who teaches them their duty. They cannot stay here, however. They must go far and wide, giving the beauty of dream to those deprived. For now, I sleep."

With his instrument set up by his bedside, Ja fell limp as his smoking form entered his realm; the Land of Dreams.

The power of dream was brought forth.

His booming voice filled the scenery for miles, perhaps even to Dreamscape. He was in the territory of his brother, but he did not understand those things at the moment.

"Then we have something in common, brother. I cannot ever be defeated in combat. My strength surpasses all that you know, and I will crush you with it." He smiles, or the wolf equivalent, showing massive fangs and drool dripping down to the ground. His ruby red eyes glint with blood lust as he begins to circle his victim.

Finally, coming to a decision, Azumin stepped towards father time, and kneeled. ''My father, i see my brothers with distaste. All their bickering for small pieces of ugly, barren rock, when they do not see the wide picture. I wish to claim dominion over the seas of your world, so that i may fill them with life, and keep them sheltered from the destructive wills of my bretheren. This, i ask of you.'' Azumin bowed low, his spear held at his side, wings folded to his back.

As the early morning myst lifted off of the vast mushroom forests of the Island of Psilo, the colonies of Semilanans came to life, their vast silk establishments emptying out the large Caterpillar like creatures, whose went on to explore their Mushroom enviornment. Their main diety, Sylosybin sat to himself, pipe at hand, smoking the the essense of life, butterflies and other flying creatures leaving his very lungs, watched his people come to life and take his job as living embodiments of Perception and Illusion. Their god was content.

Elendur laughed at his brother, though he knew him not as such. He raised his hands to the heavens, and so the grasses, and vines grew more plentiful suddenly, winding and tightening into a shaft of similar height to Elendur's form that his vine-covered hands could easily grasp, hardening into a strength far stroonger than that if regular wood.

And so Elendur held this staff at the ready, prepared to ward off any attacks this strange being had to offer.

"Come then, oh mighty one, and feel the true power of nature."

* * *

In the heavens above, in the great Dreamscape, Father Time sat, listening to his son Azumin's words, and he smiled. For none had yet given thought to water. And, unlike with the other gods, where he would heed a warning, or speak of what their powers were, Father Time merely nodded, and Azumin would know that he had his father's blessing.

A fiendish grin covered the mighty predators face as he raced forward, his paws propelling him through the air. Each step seemed to shake the earth, and the snarl of the beast grew louder and louder still. Almost on the brink of sanity, Deadelus lunged at his divine counterpart with a brutal snap!

Azumin bowed, and spread his wings wide, gliding down to the earth below him. He set foot upon a small mountain, surveying the great seas before him. A great waterfall sprung from his feet, spilling down a precipice below him, and into the sea.

He dived into the deep blue ocean, picking up some sand and stone. He began to mould them around water, creating humanoid shapes. He created fifty of the beings, and then bestowed life upon them.

''You are the Shi'vran. I have created you, and you shall be sheltered by the waves, from the world above. I have made you to live in peace, but i shall not rule you with an iron fist, i shall help you in times of need'' Azumin smiled, flying up atop his mountain, creating a small shack within his waterfall, cloaking himself in grey, so as to hide himself from his people, and observe, as the first of his people began to explore their undersea empire. He smiled. Underneath the waves, no others would see his secret creations, like he himself wanted not to be bothered by the other gods, even though they ostracised him back in the dreamscape. He sighed, and flew out over the oceans, exploring his realm.

"..and I shall call this small island...Dementia..."

Illiad sat on the beach of the small island, earth was a funny place, and as the madgod felt the tide coming in, he watched with a sort of fascination, he let the water gather around his toes.

Giggling, the madgod held something in his hands. It was a stick figure, bound by seaweed. On the ground in front of him was another stick figure, except this one had a tiny little spear. The madgod bent over peering at his creations, and thne he started to pantomime with the two figures.

"Yes. Yes. This is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it… "This Land."

He put the second figure down next to the first. And spoke in a different tone.

"I think we should call it "your grave"!

Suddenly he stabbed the figure with the other figure's spear.

"Ahh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"

Still stabbing he spoke again.

"Har har har! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! "

"Ohhh, no, Gods! Oh, dear Gods in heaven!"

Laughing the madgod spoke down to the two figurines.

"Ah, that would be me would it. Yes, I will help you little man! Do not fear the madgod is...oh, well actually the tide is here. Goodbye."

The two figurines where swept away into the ocean.

Standing up, the madgod, looked out into the ocean and shouted to his brother.

"Azumin, you bastard! I expect compensation! YOU HEAR ME! COMPENSATION!!!!"

Not bothering to wait for an answer, the madgod sighed. His island was perfect, but it was missing something... something important. Other beings perhaps? In due time, in due time.

Boots! He needed boots!

With a laugh the madgod made his way across the ocean. A simple affair, however, he still needed boots. The madgod made his way through the many forests. Many of the animals saw him and fled. Even a human tribe saw him. He ignored them, they where not wearing boots. Suddenly he heard two figures arguing. He recognized his brother's voices. Laughing, his voice was musical as he watched Deadelus charge at Elandur.

This turmoil was not productive to his new species. His divine brothers were not making this earth a peacefull and relaxing world, as Sylosybin had hoped. He would have to do somthing about that. He walked from the Island of Psilo, crossing the waters of Azumin, towards the area where his brothers were disturbing their father's creation.

As the wolf-like being snapped his ideous jaws at Elendur, the lord of nature thrust out his staff. Suddenly, the shaft of wood changed, the tip of it growing and spreading out, like a flower in blossom, or a tree's growth in fast forward. Branches and vines spread out and began to engulf the wolf-man, though they were not to harm him, merely restrain the beast. Elendur simply had not the heart to harm another, even one so apparently evil as this.

The first touches of fighting, and Abu-Kresh felt every stroke of the defiling blows of such fighting personaly. Such fighting at this moment was company to catastrophy, it must be stopped... But how? He could hardly risk throwing his hand into such turmoil, for it risked tearing it off. He needed to aid his brother... no, he need not aid anyone, he needed to stop this fighting, on both sides!

And so, Abu-Kresh's stance in the war of good and evil was cemented. He would fend of both sides, and keep the scales ballanced. He realized, also, then in order to keep the scales level, he would need to throw his weight on one end... Hopefully, he would not need to.

Running as fast as his celestial feet could carry him, Abu-Kresh arrived on the battlefield of Elendur and Deadelus. He could feel the animosity and pure hate from Daedelus, and the shining spirit of Elendur. "You two must stop! Do you not see what would happen if you two were to kill eachother?"

Though Deadelus could not directly effect these overgrown twigs that pushed him back, he could do one thing. Destroy them. With a howl of anger, the beasts body jerked awkwardly, and then a moment later he began to swell in size. Each muscle growing larger and larger, and snapping there would-be constraints.
