Elendur stepped back with obvious shock, muttering, 'What...are you...' as the trees and bushes enveloped themselves around him as he suddenly withdrew from sight and mind, shedding his form to wander naked and formless once more, as he had done before coming to Earth. And in doing so, his understanding returned. No longer confined to a mortal form, his understanding returned, and Elendur came to realize what it was he would have to do.

So, he did not leave per se, but lingered, invisible, formless, waiting for Daedelus to retreat before he could converse with the others that had arrived in his glade.

Azumin had looked around his domain with glee. It was Huge! Water really did cover most of the planet! He flew back to his people with joy. He looked at them, and watched them construct buildings, and make lives for themselves. A small group discovered a purple metal, and began to forge it. They made jewelry out of it. One made a spear, similar to Azumin's. He used it to kill a large sea creature. The group used the meat for food, and the one who killed it removed the skin, making clothes for the Shi'vran. Azumin was happy they were progressing. He went back to his shack, to sleep. Even gods tire.

Time passed, as it always does, as Iach strode through the lands, looking at the wonders his brother Elendur had created. Such creations, he knew, would be fragile. The evidence was all around him, as creatures ate the plants or crushed them as they walked past him, terrified at the sight.

And, while gazing at the plants, Iach heard a great noise. A noise that mortals could not bear to hear. The noise of warring Gods. The steed Iach sat upon cried as it galloped towards the noise. And Soon, Iach found himself watching Daedalus break free of the confines of Elendur's own creations. He watched as Elendur shed a mortal form and trotted forward on his Celetial Horse, in his black, Divine armor, His black spear held vertically as he rode.

He cast a glance to Abu-Kresh, His brother, whom reigned over the Order of things. And his attention was drawn to Daedalus.

"Brother!", he called to the Evil one, his voice cold and echoing as it always was. "Why hast thou attacked our Brother Elendur, who has created such things as the tree? What wrong has he committed against thee?"

Dagaia was next. Slowly he brought himself before the father and knelt deeply.

"Father, I do not ask for any certain domain. What ever you grant me I will humbly take without argument."

Dagaia kept his gaze low, afraid to offend this great being by looking him in the eyes.

The fear Elendur had first felt upon the idea of fighting Daedalus had slowly grown in whatever passed for his gut. This was Kaba'al's element. He had felt it, sensed it, the moment it had happened and latched onto that fear. At first he wasn't sure what to do, but now it was starting to grow. It boiled and bubbled and grew larger inside Elendur. It began to fill him, until finally, it could no longer be contained. The feeling was dribbling through him, something incorporeal and something that couldn't be contained. Finally an unnaturally large pile of the stuff fell to the earth. It was a vile mess and out of that putrid pile of waste Kaba'al took shape.

He stood erect and he stretched and flexed his disproportianately large muscles. Without any further ado, he grabbed two enormous handles sticking straight out of his neck and ribs and pulled forth two massive greataxes. He spun these around with innate skill, looking as if he was born to wield two excessively large axes. As he did so, blood flew off the edges of them in a large radius. It didn't seem to stop dripping off the blades of the weapons.

"None shall stop the massacre of Elendur! Any who dare will be ended immediately."

"His very existence is a wrong. What good are these "trees" you speak of? How will they bend to my will?" He saws with a glare, and slamming his paw onto the ground. The force of the blow uproots many of the trees around them only proving his point.

"And you. What kind of God of war and honor allows an opponent to flee from battle? You should be on my side. Not that I would accept the help from the likes of you."

"Thou Hath no knowledge of Honor, Daedalus! If ye had the knowledge that I hold, That I created, as is mine right, then thou wouldst not have attacked our brother! The Code of honor is a code to live by; A code that is unknown to the likes of thee! You know only Strength, and Rage! Thine power is only power and no control for it! Thou art a sad beast indeed, Daedalus!"

Iach knew that insults would most likely enrage his brother even more and provoke him to an attack. Father Time had known that Iach would be at odds with his brothers Daedalus and Kaba'al, and thus created him with impeneratrable armor. For without Honor, chaos would reign. Without Wars, only murders would take place. And as much as Iach wanted to fight, he didn't wish to kill his brother. Any more than he wished to kill his Father.

"You know that our Father gave me armor that can withstand any attacks made by thee. You cannot harm me, Daedalus. Flee now, so that I may spare thee. But if you attack, know that I shall(put the beat down on yo' ass!) do great harm to thee!"

"You are a fool to believe that. You are no more invincible than I, and I am no more vulnerable than you. That armor you wear may be impenetrable to mortals, and maybe even to some gods, but I am a god of strength. My physical power is limitless... Now please, allow me to prove it to you..." Deadelus glares with seething rage, and he slams his paw into the ground once more. And from that strike a wave of earth, rock, and trees soar towards Iach.

ooc: Whoa. You cannot have impenetrable armor. If you do... then my teeth can pierce anything. So chyaa.

OOC: Sorry to break up the quarrel between you guys... I just need to join the RP. :p

And now IC:

Meanwhile, high above the earth, Noctem stepped forward to his father, his creator.

"Father... What would this world be like without the transition between day and night? The sun and moon may rise, but when do they fall? This time is Twilight, and it is my desire to create this small interval of time, to balance day and night, so that no celestial giant is more powerful than his brother. And also, father, what would this world be without fun? Let me bring tricks into people's lives, and show them that hard work is not the only path in life."

Azumin paled, looking up to the dreamscape. He saw his brother, Mephisto, his polar opposite approach his father. ''Oh no. Not him.'' Azumin knew Mephisto would begin to pick quarrels with him. He looked to his fledgling race, realising that steadily, they were growing. They had built bigger dwellings, to fit the growing families. Some of the male and female Shi'vran were wearing segmented armour, and wielded swords and spears, standing atop primitive sea walls. He was glad they were learning to defend themselves. There was no hope of peace if Mephisto found out he was down here.

Away from the brewing conflicts of the world, Izul, Death itself descended unto the world. Ne neither knew, nor cared the point of his entry. It was, however, eternally marked as the site of the very first death.

For with his coming, life was given purpose. It could now end.

To Death, though, that was as yet unknown. He had matters to deal with. His realm, first and foremost. He would build it in the most innacessible of places, the afterlife. He spent hours, days, weeks moulding it, but took all of a second to give it form.

The dark, cavernous underworld was created, the place where the dead would toil in eternal pain, or lounge in luxury for the rest of time. His realm was what gave him his power, here was where his soldiers waited, this place was what people would do anything to avoid.

Life and death rested in his hand. And it pleased him.

For the gods of war, of strength, of merciless slaughter all depended upon him. For without him to take the souls of those that are killed, none would ever die. He was not a dark god, rather, he was the enemy of every living creature, of every living god. Though the wise would embrace him as a friend, happily accepting the inevitable.

And this pleased him.

Though his work was not done. Stepping back into the physical realm, the real world, he went about his next task. Passages into the underworld, for those that die, those that must return and those that feel they must enter the realm of the dead to retrieve what was stolen.

He placed these dark portals in the strangest of places, high in the sky invisible to all, at the bottom of the deepest ocean, in the bowels of dark and forboding mountain ranges. All the places that would test the living, but not even concern the dead. For a journey into death must be a trial for the living.

And this pleased him.

His work done for now, he set about the earth, taking the creatures and plants whose time had come, the animals that should have died long ago, and he guided them into the next world, his cold form gently guiding them, like a parent cares for a tiny child.

As Death stalked the world, it came across the scene of the first fight. God against God. Strength and Slaughter pitted themselves against those more natural forces, Nature itself, Order, Law and Honor.

Death took no sides. He simply waited for his line in the great play. For where there is battle, there is Death.

And this pleased him.

*The one known as the crafter of all weapons walked forward kneeled before Father Time as he laid down his tool. Upon one kneed, he brought down his head in respect as well as humbleness before his father. His eyes closed for a moment as a breath was released and his hazel eyes flashed open with the intent of leaving. It had been time the crafter had explored Dreamscape for more resources and the adventures of a lifetime.*

"Forgive me Father. I know it is hard upon you to see the family leave, yet I as well must go to the far lands in search of answers and truths for my work."

Abu-Kresh growled, he would not intervene until absolutely nessecary. Moving away from the warring God's, he moved to stand beside his brother Death. "The fools don't realize what will happen when they kill eachother... But, I feel you do. Oh master of Life and Death. So uncaring to the strugles of the living, yet wise and knowledgable." He spoke, not moving his eyes from the fighting gods. "You must know I cannot allow you to take their lives yet."

It is not a matter of what can be allowed, and what cannot. It is simply a matter of what times plans bring about.

Death extended his left hand, a dark swirling mist forming in his palm. The blackness warped and shifted constantly, before rapidly elongating. It held a form, the black mist clearly outlined as a great scythe, before it took a true form.

The mist gone, a sturdy, simpe scythe in it's place, Death turned it's hooded face towards it's brother.

Brother, master of justice, of order, of law. You cannot seek to control the whims of the Gods, just as I cannot seek to change their inevitable fates. I am simply an instrument of fate, and I shall not intervene in a fight that is not mine to fight.

Turning his cold gaze back to his brothers preparing to begin the first godly battle that the world would know, his 'voice' came the closest to expressing emotion that it would for a long time to come, a sort of hollow satisfaction, and at the same time, it almost sounded like longing.

Brother Abu-Kresh, I am simply here to pick up the pieces.

His voice came to those of his brothers, distorted, changing, never the same.

"What a disgrace this is. Such a gift we are given by our father, and they seek to destroy it. Are we to stand as they impart their lessons of hate and chaos, war and destruction, on our own creations?"

Visions of their own species being destroyed by one and other came to the eyes of his fellow gods. Sylosybin finally intervened in the struggle which shook the earth.

ooc: I only made it impeneratrable when Duncan had bile that can't be moved or swatted away by the others.

Iach laughed. The fool. Mortal, tangible things could not harm a God. Not in his ethereal or celestial form, as Iach was. And so the wave of trees, earth, and other things of that nature(Puns!) passed through him as if it were nothing.

"Surely brother, thou hath not forgotten that Earth cannot harm us?" he laughed. "I have no wish to fight thee! Thou art needed to control thine own domains as I am needed to control mine own! Strike me down, and ye shall find no proper outlet for your Strength and Rage! As such, should I slay thee, brother, I would have no useful tools for wars! I say; let there be peace between us, if only fleeting and awkward!"

And so, Iach tried peace. He knew it to be honorable to make peace with a brother. Even if it was an awkward, uneasy one. And with his offer, Sylosybin spoke to them all, showing visions of killings, of battles, of destruction. And Iach was saddened. Not by the wars shown to him, but by the unhonorable way in which he saw many fight.

"Doth thou see what a battle between the two of us can bring, brother? Surely thy wish is to not see thine own creations destroyed?"

"Creations can be built again. You can only destroy something once. Therefore, it must be more valuable. Now please, quit stalling and fight me. You sound ridiculous, by the way. Speak like a normal person."

If earthly things could not harm this god, then perhaps pure rage could. The wolf god concentrated his rage within Iach's armor and it began to swell. Knowing full well that Iach could not change the rage he had installed within him.

OOC:Aaron, go to the OOC, we need to talk about that armor.

Ah, but Honor can combat Rage quite efficiently. And Iach's nobility and Honor kept him restrained, as he knew that it was unhonorable to attack in pure anger. And though the Rage may build, Iach could not attack unless provoked or with good reason.

"You're mastery over rage is quite admirable, Brother! But honor shall always triumph over primal urges!"

Iach's steed circled, though the Black helm that he wore continued to stare menacingly at his brother. Iach calculated and planned. He could try to make peace with his brother, or he could attack. He had two weapons, his spear, which would undoubtedly kill his bloodthirsty brother, and his sword, which would instill honor into Daedalus.

"I say again; I have no quarell with you, Daedalus. Make peace and I shall leave you be! I have no wish to harm thee!"

"Iach, you are a fool to think honor has a place here."

Kaba'al moved to stand by the side of his lupine brother. His twin axes seemed to cry out for the blood of Iach, but Kaba'al did not attack yet. Instead, he flung his arms out wide, and as he did so, an inky blackness began to grow. It came over the horizon at top speed, obscuring the view of the distance. Their dark tendrils came to pass into a circle that surrounded the gathering of gods, and they crept and flowed directly from Kaba'al's form. In the distance, the shrill sounds of animals in terror could be heard. A chill wind passed through the group. Outside the circle, everyone knew, was a primal terror, and its presence could be felt by all.

"Why would you think such a rediculous tactic as begging would work?! Shut up and fight!"

Suddenly, the sky above the two opponents darkened and black rain began to pour down as lashing whips. At the likeness of a fierce storm, Ur, the God of the Sky and Thunder issued forth out of nothingness. Within his clasped hand was Miltrojir, The Grinder, and it was great and terrible and it shone with a dazzling radiance. Ur was filled with wrath. The demeanor of his brothers had awoken a great flame within him. Not only had they insulted their Father, but they were now trying to kill one of their own. "Fight me!" He bellowed, and his voice was thunder. "I am not like Iach, I do not shy easily from a fight!"
