I was kind of hoping for Hugo Strange, if only just to see a decent incarnation of his character, I guess Arkham City will provide that.
Bane is a great character and has alot of potential in Nolan's universe, i'm a little pensive on a leatherclad, bodacious thief lady in his universe though, it doesn't really fit.
That'll be pretty easy, actually.Bane is a great character and has alot of potential in Nolan's universe, i'm a little pensive on a leatherclad, bodacious thief lady in his universe though, it doesn't really fit.
I didn't, and nobody I know did, we all knew the potential in the character.I wonder how many people said similar things about the Joker?

It has potential to be slightly campy, based on the choice of actress. That's what worries me.
Every dramatic role i've seen her in, which judging by her roster is few, she's had this sort of new hollywood, preppiness to her, she's someone I just can't picture in a gritty, serious and dramatic environment with a straight face, but Heath Ledger? He was ****ing awesome in Brokeback Mountain, the scene with the fist fight at the fireworks display? Wow. I liked the way they were going in the interviews, a dark interpretation was all they would say and they had a perfectly capable actor to do it. Once the film was released, he wasn't just capable, he was astounding. You saw potential in Nolan's Joker, played by Heath Ledger but are worried by Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle?
Come on, it's Christopher Nolan, he's not tacky or camp. At best Selina Kyle will come close to villainy as something that's still going to be a million miles away from any other incarnation of Catwoman, especially Michelle Pfiefer's PVC attempt. Shame, I'd have liked to have seen Hathaway in that catsuit.
I was still hoping for a Penguin, Hush, or Prometheus.
I'm really bummed Nolan is only doing a trilogy as I would have loved to see some sort of incarnation of Robin and thusly the Red Hood.
I was hoping for a prequel.
... what? That's not possible, Batman Begins is the very beginning of Batman. Anything set before that wouldn't be Batman.
Exactly what I was thinking. It'd be like going through Bruce's childhood and life before even meeting Ra's al Ghul.
Somewhat interesting, but it just would not work.
I still like to think of the blonde kid in the Narrows (who saw Batman and said that the other kids wouldn't believe him, so Batman gave him the listening device or whatever it was) as Dick Grayson. It'd be cool if he was one of the first civilians to ever see Batman (in terms of what was on screen, he may very well have been), only to one day grow up and be his partner.

Watch Empire of the Sun.
