As soon as Aska was pointed in the direction of the Zeltron twins, she became like a kid in a candy store and seemed to either miss or ignore Ali's non-verbal cue. The Togruta furrowed her brow and pouted as she watched her mistress leave with the two Zeltrons, leaving her to be led away in the opposite direction by the man. Without knowing exactly what it was Aska had planned or what instruction she would have given, Ali was now forced to go with the flow and she nervously followed behind the man, before she was brought in front of what was starting to become a large gathering around President Thorne. The woman in the black dress (@Dr Ilana Morata ) and man with red hair (@Lucas Rinn ) were still there, and to the Togruta's surprise, Klied had joined the group along with the man he had been speaking with before (@Soygun York ), now sans cigar. Among them all was Emryc Thorne (@Darth Raze ). It was not really very surprising to Ali that he attracted a lot of attention. She'd first met him at an event similar to this. Granted, it was a much more corporate affair and everyone there had been dressed to the highest degree as part of the Blackwell Technology conference, but it was a big social engagement nonetheless and plenty of people had been congratulating him on his appointment to their board of directors at the time.

"Mr. Thorne, the woman from outside is here. As you've seen, her companion is already being looked after. Do you require anything else, sir?" said the man. He was brief, but effective in delivering the information. Ali felt very anxious standing in front of the group. Though they were not at an event like the Blackwell conference, they were all well dressed and certainly had a lot more clothing on than Ali did, or ever really tended to. The Togruta was wearing the outfit she usually wore when she and her mistress visited Free Worlds (reference picture). Though it was far from conservative, Aska preferred she at least wore this, to the golden slave dancer's outfit she had adorned previously, as this drew too much unwanted attention and in many ways made it too obvious she owned a slave, which would have landed her in a lot of trouble.

As she always did when she was nervous, Ali started to wring her hands a little bit, but when she caught Klied's gaze she gave him a little wave "hello" and a smile. The bounty hunter was a friend of her mistress and had become a friend of Ali's too. The three of them had even traveled to the Daedalus together to watch Poffo's game of Hutt Ball. If Aska was too preoccupied with the Zeltron twins, then at least the Togruta would be more at ease with Klied around as a familiar face.

She chuckled once at Emryc's teasing remark of them appearing together; once again, the thought niggled at the back of her brain, the eyes were similar, but the build was off. The thought was tempting, but it would possibly ruin her credibility if it was even considered she could have slept her way into the role of primary researcher into the vaccine. "A tempting thought," she murmured, but at the approach of the others, she spared them both a nod. Her lips twitched as a man she did not recognize accompanying York nodded her way, and she merely gave a sly smile, and a toast of her empty shot glass. "Gentlemen."

Senator York, she recognized, but she wondered briefly if he would recognize her in this getup. She was once again distracted by Lucas's commentary, and full lips tilted into a charming smile, amber eyes glinting with mischief.
"Why Senator, I'd be more than delighted to part you from your well-earned credits as well," she teased, reaching forward for her next shot, graciously provided.

It was at the appearance of the Torgruta, however, that her attention was once more arrested. Beautiful in the best way, shy, nervous. As Ilana, the woman would not have hesitated to step in and claim the woman for herself; however, she was a different person now. She could play the part of Ilana, but she was an observer now, rather than an achiever.

"And who is this radiant beauty?" she asked to no one in particular, but amber eyes softened ever so slightly. No doubt the woman was uncomfortable in this situation for one reason or another, but she would offer the woman a toast, head cocked slightly. The crest of others' emotions flavored the air, a mixture of excitement, curiosity, and hunger, and she coasted atop it, finding it surprisingly easy to be in such a crush of people, unlike last time.

Perhaps it was Sevrin's own examples, but she could feel herself starting to relax slightly, and enjoy the game more.

Poor team blue though.

Srucayr would ponder the question for a few moments, his gauntlet scratching his exposed jaw. "Well.. six poor bastards are trying to throw a ball into a zone? I think. They can fight, but from here it looks like a lot of flopping. Maybe they.. messed with the gravity in the stadium?" He'd offer, though he hadn't the slightest kriffing idea what was going on.

Taking a sip from his glass he'd lean back over. "All I know for certain.. is Laren keeps hitting the ground and I just scored many copies of what happened here. So... next event at the Citadel, we are all bound for a treat." he'd say with an amused laugh. "Skjorn should be around here somewhere.. If you're looking for company closer to your age. Don't have to hang out with the old man the entire time."

Like Zad, Trench didn't have many acquatainces amongst the Rangers. He didn't have time for it. Save for basically his little sister Bast, but they rarely worked together, but he knew that they were each just a comm away if anything really hit the shit. So meeting a like mind in Zad made the job a bit more enjoyable.

He'd take a sip from his glass as Zad rattled off the names. "First one sounds like you got a bad case of heartburn, Death gets a left swipe from me... yeah, I'm old but I know how these kids do the swiping. Uhhh Mr. Macho? No way he wasn't in a holofilm back in the 10's. Wasn't Krazy Kel on that album with Lil Klepti?" he'd ask. He didn't know, but drunk brain was definitely on the move. "Plus anyone who starts swappin' c's with K's.. you don't want that smoke, cuz they a cannibal. Anvil, a she?" he'd glance at the screen. "All I know is chick with that kinda name, gotta be at least a 7. The names to deter the degenerates. Shit, I bet she's a top, too. Iron Man? I guess its better than Beskar Man, but now that raises the question of if he's got a fake suit."

As the man walked by, Trench would lift his glass to him. "Yeah Mandos, whoo!" once he walked by, he'd look at Zad. "Drunk asshole." He'd follow Zad's gaze. "Hmm... could be promising.. Whatchu think?"

There was a bump from behind as she had spoke to Jack (@Exhilian) and she glanced down to notice the liquor she squeezed from her shirt dripped onto the table. The redhead used the corner of someone's tunic as they passed to quickly wipe up the small puddle. The pull of the cloth was enough to catch the attention of its owner, another woman, who just so happen catch the lustful stare of the massively obese cerean instead of catching Tiamat. There was crack as the woman's fist met with the male's nose and Tiamat rose her eyebrows and gave Jack a small salute before she turned to see where else she could settle. At least she could go get herself another drink since she was not able to enjoy the one she had as it settled into her shirt.

As she moved back through the crowds, she paused as she spotted a familiar face, at least if her mind was not playing tricks with her, she was certain it was Amon. She ducked as a waitress came though with a tray of shots, trying to recall when it was the last time she had seen him. Was it really Coruscant? That felt like forever ago.

She watched as he hollered over a bad call on a cheap block from the game and grinned, seeing how enthused he as well as everyone in this place got into this game. Tiamat approached, stepping beside and glanced at him, "How's it been? I don't think I have seen you around lately." she asked, hoping he would remember who she was given she had vibrant red hair on their last meeting.

Amon's eyes eventually tore themselves from the field as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his PDA. He pressed a few buttons and opened the fantasy app and another that was for his betting. The screen displayed the points that players were earning and that was doing terribly in the game. With a slight shake of his head, he tossed the PDA onto the counter haphazardly but face up still for him to view. He took a quick drag of his cigarra and sip of his brew to pass the anger before he heard a voice by his shoulder.

Amon placed his drink down and turned slightly to face a red-haired woman. He peered at her for a moment, his face slightly tilted as he thought to himself for a moment before his eyes widened in recognition. "Tia, it's been a while. What a pleasure." It was a surprise he didn't recognize the hair instantly. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the small metal square again, opening to pull out a cigarra for her. If she took it, he would pull out another for him, if not, he would use the one he offered to her.

Amon turned to fully face her, his back resting against the support then while he lifted one of his legs to press the base of his foot against it. It supported a view of the game and her. He offered both of his gloved hands to Tia, if she took the cigarra, one to cover the flame and the other to ignite. "You haven't seen me around lately because I haven't been around." He gave a slight shrug, "I've been on my own for a while." That was a way to put it.

Amon would ignite his after as he looked upon her, memories of their last mission resurfacing, "From museums to huttball stadiums, we keep finding ourselves in interesting places. The sight of the aging tech was a distant memory for him but still with him. Even though he had been away for some time, he had still managed to hear tidbits, even about her. Amon flicked his gaze to the VIP booth and then to her, "What about you? I thought you would be residing up there with the VIP crowd now."

Emryc watched as York came over with the Onderon Lord, sharp eyes taking in every detail. He grinned at Raxx’s words, “Only the best company,” He agreed with the man’s assessment, shaking his hand with a firm grip. As was his nature, his silver gaze pierced into Raxx’s to quickly assess him. Emryc's frame and presence was far more daunting in person than the friendly face on Holonet. The half Sephi briefly looked over at York with a grin, “We may not always have seen eye to eye, but I’d be lying if I said you weren't a damn fine addition to the team, York,” He raised the shot and he clinked his glass against the others before throwing it back.

“What kind of business? Hit me,” He couldn’t help but ask Raxx before he ordered a round for everyone at the bar. He hadn’t missed the look on Lucas’ face when York only ordered for the three. Emryc gave the man a friendly wink to remind him that all the drinks were free and no one needed to get their panties in a twist. If Emryc and York could set their differences aside for an evening, no reason Lucas and York couldn’t.

He turned his attention back to the dancer after his shot, noting how she kept glancing over around herself. Emryc observed her for a moment before he grabbed his blazer off his chair and walked over, offering it to her to cover herself up if she pleased. His tall frame made it so the blazer would easily cover up most of her body.

“Aska is over there,” He pointed behind her, “In case you wish to join her in private or simply leave,” Emryc then pointed to the stage where the other girls were dancing, “Or if you choose, we would be honored to have you perform,” Silver gaze met hers for a moment, piercing but genuine, “But the choice will have to come from you. Only you.”

Taldorak sat in a booth as he waited for his date. He had foregone his usual attire and was clad in something.. a little nicer and a little more casual. Besides, his beskar was known amongst the Syndicates and he did not want to catch any flak on a day off. He had gotten a bottle of Corellian Whiskey and two glasses and was now just relaxing, waiting. It was very much so a date. There was a slight worry about her maybe not showing up, but then he remembered that he was him. And that just wasn't an option.

So he just sipped from his glass, eyes looking about the busy room and scanning for a hot Mirialan number with even more beautiful green eyes. He was also trying to avoid any sort of interaction with the Mandalorians, on the off chance, they knew Vraes. One thing he was thankful for, was the wonderful entertainment that was Laren Vano. "C'mon kid... its like ya never used a jetpack before."

The Kattadan governor went ahead and tossed his second shot back while Thorne made his acquaintance with the Lord of Onderon. He nodded a thanks to the ISC President at his comment. "I appreciate the kind words, Mr. President." He already had another one poured and clinked his shot glass against Thorne's and Raxx's.

York was tired of counting on the bartender to keep the shots coming if they were going to be poured and drank this fast. He decided to just commandeer the bottle himself, poured another shot, and then placed the bottle where others nearby could help themselves if they so chose. It was then that he heard Lucas take a verbal shot. York grinned and said, "My apologies, Governor Rinn. I forgot you were there."

His attention turned to Throne who asked the Lord about his business. Describing your business to a representative of a small, out of the way planet like Kattada is one thing. But pitching it to the one of the most powerful men in the galaxy was quite another. York could have helped him in this moment, help break the ice. Help sell the business. That was, in fact, one of York's strongest abilities. But, like Thorne, he wanted to see what this Lord was made out of. The type of hunting that Raxx liked to do required nerves of steel as it was life and death in the wild with dangerous predators who saw you as fresh meat to be eaten. Business at this level? No different.

“Skur, isn’t it?” the Shadwa Ubb nobles ears pricked up at the sound of one of his lessers engaging in conversation without the due honorifics he was owed. “Or is it Skudd? Skripp? Skar?” clearly, he thought to himself, this one was one Shaak short of a stampede “From that one job back in Bespin? Bells ringin’?”

As the newcomer concluded his introduction, Hypaxian drew himself up to his full and considerable height, turning his chair to face the newcomer, and introduced himself. "Pray silence." he raised his right hand, calling for quiet "You have the great honour of standing in the presence of his serene eminence, Autocrator Hypaxian XXVII, Dominar of the Shadwarian Empire and Supreme Warden-Protector of the Seitia sector. First, and greatest Son of his divine excellency, Autocrator Hypaxian XXVI and his four-hundred and ninth wife Despotess Althraxius XII." he paused, to bask in the wonder of the man to whom he spoke, before extending his hand for the man to kiss.

"It is a great honour for you to be in my presence, and I understand how overwhelming it must be, so, in this instance, I forgive your impertinence." he smiled "Frooj, a portrait for this fellow, and send him on his way."

seemed Jack was a man of many interests, perhaps they were cut from the same cloth, perhaps. he was about to go on about before the interruption of the guards, a twi'lek and a woman. it seemed Jack knew the woman judging by their friendly interaction.

"care to introduce us" he would ask but before he could finish woman seemingly caused some sort of commotion to break out and decided to maker get away while she still could. he glanced as a woman disappeared. "now who was that" he restated.

Jack Seypka would be sitting in the booth as his pale blue eyes focused on everything happening in front of him. Everything to all happen at once in a quick flash. Tiamat appeared and made a quick Hello before draining her shirt on the table, wiping it up and leaving. Jack never even said so much as a word as he held his cigarra in his hand while it burned slowly leaving the plume of smoke rise up into the air and vanish.

Turning his head over to Orrell he would shake his head while putting his cigarra in his mouth. "Trouble." he would respond to him as would motion his guards over to go back to their positions. Even now, Tiamat was a strange strange person. Nothing else could really describe it but Jack respected it for what it is. Tapping the ashes in the glass tray he would lift a hand up as the same waiter came back over to him that was serving his bottles.

"Bottle of your Astral's Finest." with that the Twi'lek nodded and went off. It was a short period of time before she came back holding a mirror like glow of a pale filled to the brim with ice and a nice designed bottle laying directly in the middle of it. The glowing colors of purple, blue, orange and white mixed with one another as the pale was chill to the touch from being so cold. Laying it down in the middle of his table before nodding and leaving.

Jack would grab the bottle with a cloth and pour the contents of it into a fresh glass that came with it. Doing the same to Orrells fresh glass as the pair of glasses would hold the bright orange liquid that was a fine fine whiskey. Setting the bottle back into the pale of ice as he took the glass in his hands and took a sip. The sensation would be strong but with a citrus twist to it. It was a rather amazing taste and smooth as he set the glass back down and focused on Orrell and glancing to the holoscreen every so often.

Klied had to turn his head up to meet with Emryc's (@Sreeya ) gaze as the man was quite a few inches taller, but the president and Sith lord would see a very similar face. On the surface Klied was all smiles and a warm demeanor, but as those silver eyes met with his deep blue the truth of his identity would be immediately apparent. Detached, analytical and calculating. This was a man that had hunted beast and man alike, and had become very well versed in the art. He matched Emryc's strong grip, calloused and scarred skin indicating he was not raised in a privileged setting but plying his trade far removed from civilization.

Likewise Klied used the chance to study every detail of the man in front of him. And he knew exactly what he saw. This was an apex predator in a man's skin, intelligent and dangerous. He didn't show any sign of being intimidated by the half Sephi, keeping up the friendly smile, but there was a clear shift of bearing in his eyes. He was alert now, as though he was on a hunt in the wild, very aware of the type of person he was dealing with. He recognized him and gave due respect, but would show no fear. After releasing his grip on Emryc's hand he would put his glass down on the bar and lean one elbow on the surface, adopting a relaxed stance. He would hold off on drinking for now.

As the president asked about his business he was quick to reply. "Affordable and high quality mercenary work for customers of every stripe." He said, slipping into his more relaxed and sociable mask. "Anti piracy and slavery, personal security, target acquisition, you name it. I want to build a reliable private military group that that any client, wealthy or desperate can depend on to solve their problems. One that will stand for a safer and more prosperous galaxy."

Before he could say any more his attention was directed to the new arrival along with everyone else. Ali? (@Bex ) Klied quickly scanned the rest of the VIP area but saw no sign of Aska. That was strange. The two were usually inseparable. Still, as the shy Togruta waved to him the Onderonian offered a far more sincere smile then he used for the politicians and nodded back in acknowledgement. When Thorne walked over to her to offer his blazer the hunter reflexively tightened his grip on his glass, his mouth twitching a bit. After his first impression of the ISC president he couldn't help but view the exchange like a cat cornering a mouse.

"You know Ms. Ryun?" He suddenly spoke up, trying to draw the half Sephi's attention back to him. "Then you must know she's a very talented fighter. She's already behind the project as one of our future field operatives." He turned his attention towards the TV just as Poffo grabbed hold of one of the Red Team players and was preparing to piledrive him into oblivion. That's more like it! He thought with a grin as he looked back towards Thorne, gesturing towards the screen. "As is Mr. Sauvage up there. Or Mr. Macho as he prefers."

York was about to take another shot, but he stopped short as he watched the carnage begin to take place in the game. He watched the Pinked-up beast of a man grab a skinny guy, turn him upside down, and then jump off the platform to the ground below, driving the man's head into the floor. Suddenly, both of them were in a pool of crimson. Then one of the Mando's got electrocuted out of nowhere and the blue team Sith took two blasters to the chest.

"Holy bantha balls," York said as a smile began to form on his lips as the shock of the suddenness of the violence melted away. He took the shot and put the shot glass down on the bar with some authority. "Well, that escalated quickly."

Upon being brought before the group, the lady in black addressed her. "My name is Alisaah, ma'am" she said politely, albeit with her usual level of formality, but thereby introducing herself to those around her that had not already met her before. The Togruta was used to being the one of lowest status in any room, unless that room were full of other slaves. Ali was growing more self-conscious by the second and when Thorne came over to offer her his blazer, she could tell that her nervousness was perhaps too apparent. Feeling as though she was not fit to accept it, the slave politely declined. It was then that the ISC President spoke to her.

Thorne made it clear that she could go and find Aska if she wanted or simply leave. Ali knew that her mistress would not want her private dance to be disrupted so that suggestion was an absolute no-go. Leaving also was not an option because it was her mistress who had taken her here. If Ali used curse words, she probably would have done as she wished Aska had at least explained what this "plan" of hers had been. All the slave had been trying to do was help her mistress with her chipped tooth and now here she was hobnobbing with people far beyond her social class and status and felt very out of place.

Then Thorne offered a third option. He pointed over towards a stage where two other girls were dancing along to the music being played into the VIP area, before suggesting that she may like to dance for their entertainment. This was something Ali could certainly do, but was unsure if she was allowed. She would normally have followed instructions given to her by her mistress, but Aska had not left her with any and the years of being conditioned as a slave told her that self-indulgence was met with punishment. What Thorne said next however, took the Togruta by surprise.

"The choice will have to come from you. Only you.”

When they had met on Zeltros, Ali had been posing as a traveling dancer hired as entertainment for the evening with Aska acting as her "manager". Any independent entertainer could obviously make their own mind up about what they wanted to do - it was a given - so it struck Ali as odd that he would use words like this, focusing specifically on what she wanted. Did Thorne know what she really was? What the nature of her relationship with Aska was? Ali had to think on her feet, because without knowing what her mistress had planned, if she took too long to answer it might raise suspicion. In truth, the Togruta was not even sure at this point if it even mattered whether he knew she was a slave or not, but not willing to take that risk, she finally answered.

"I'd be happy to dance for you all. That's what I do best" she said, giving a charming smile, "Please give me one moment to prepare..." And with that, the Togruta bowed respectfully and head off in the direction of the stage..

The woman was alluring in her own way; Amariel nodded once, watching her. "Alisaah," she spoke the name aloud, like something precious, rare and beautiful, allowing a light smile to touch her lips. "A pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

Thorne approached as well, and amber eyes watched with keen interest when the Torgruta rejected his jacket. York seemed in a world of his own with the other governor, but the rough-looking man with them seemed to recognize the dancer. Very interesting. But the woman seemed to collect herself.

A pity she didn't stay for longer, she might have offered her a drink. Still...

She glanced back at Emryc, a veiled smile on her lips in contemplation for a moment. He seemed to know her as well; at least if body language had anything to say about it. Instead, she turned and offered Lucas a smile, extending a hand.
"Tell me more about your favorite race tracks, then. And how about you, Emryc?" She glanced at the President, tilting her head slightly. "Do you have a favorite racer?"

Ramail huffed. "Seems overly complicated, I you ask me," she told Srucayr. "Fighting's already exciting with gravity. Why tarnish something that's already good?" She shook her head, her sharp teeth visible. "True, Laren is on his back a lot. So there that." Her fellow Mandalorian in the Huttball arena had always seemed like he could need a bit of a rude awakening for his ego. Perhaps this would do the trick. Ramail raised an eyebrow, glancing Srucayr's way. "I couldn't think of a better thing to spend credits on myself. The ability to replay it as Laren gracefully eats dust is priceless."

Ramail listened to Srucayr's suggestion. "Alright, alright, I'll give the old man some peace and quiet," she said, grinning cheekily. She rose from her seat, t-visored helmet caught snugly between her arm and hip. She would head over to the bar area, where she assumed she would find Skjorn. She hesitated a moment, looking down at Srucayr. "Save me a recording, will you?" Then, she went on her way, searching for Skjorn.

Srucayr would wince as Laren ate lightning and crumpled upon impact with the floor. "That's a damn shame." His gaze would drift to her. "Aye, nothing levels one out better than a good bout of humility."

He would take a sip of his drink as he relaxed again. Aruetii sure had comfortable chairs, he'd have to inquire about purchasing some. "Fear not, Ram'ika, I'll be sure to get a copy for everyone." Laughing to himself, he silently hoped he wasn't too crochety of a an old man yet. He would remember this place. Some day, it would fly under the flag of his people. The whole galaxy would.

"You two have fun now, no fighting. We don't need to make waves, lek?" He turned to her but she was already gone. Kids. They were always off in a hurry.

Skjorn would be at the bar, awaiting his drink. His helm was clipped to his belt and he had cleared a nice area for himself and any of his kin. A woman would make an advance and he just shoo'd her away, Ramail catching the tail end of that conversation. "-gone harlot. My creds are my own, and not for your kind."

He'd turn to catch that familiar Zabrak, they'd done some ops after Shogun together. "Ramail. Join me! They have Narcolethe, so at least we can drink properly!" He'd offer her a grin and wave her over, offering a 'light' nudge to an encroaching patron to clear room.

Emryc always found it funny when people made a big show of acting like they weren’t intimidated by him. Especially as the half Sephi generally didn’t care for intimidation tactics and never used it on purpose outside of when he was Raze. He simply existed, had a presence and that alone put people on the defense, as was painfully obvious with the Onderon Lord. The half Sephi’s face, however, did not reveal his amusement. The Lord clearly wasn’t used to rubbing elbows with the big wigs of the galaxy.

“And what will differentiate your PMC from the thousands others in the galaxy? In ISC space, you can hire specialized mercenaries like Mandalorians to protect you and your assets,” Emryc explained as he grabbed another shot, “Going to have to pitch something a lot more unique if you want to get a foothold in the big leagues.”

The half Sephi clinked his glass against Raxx’s before taking the shot.

Emryc was unfazed by the dancer’s response, and he could tell the Onderon Lord was attempting to butt into the conversation. Silver gaze flicked between the two, addressing the Onderon Lord about Aska while still gazing ahead, "Don't know her nearly as well as I ought to," He recognized a slave collar when he saw one, and he reminded himself to speak with Aska about it. Depending on how Ali performed, there was a lot of money to be made with her as a headliner dancer. Aska could prove to be a lucrative business partner on future ventures. (@Tulos )

The half Sephi turned to catch the action right as the crowds began to cheer. His eyes widened as Mr. Macho casually picked up Feannag and slammed him down. And then Anvil effortlessly drilled into Krazy Kel with bolts. There was a rapid series of some very awful and violent things that happened in quick succession.

“YEAH!” Emryc roared in that heavy baritone as he slammed a fist down onto the bar, actually causing a hairline fracture along the top of it. It was the first time anyone in his vicinity would see such a lively side of Emryc. There was suddenly vibrant life in the normally icy silver eyes, and there was almost a smile on his face. His entire demeanor lit up with fire, Now we’re playing!” He cast a sideways glance at Raxx, "You may be onto something after all."

He snapped his fingers and a new row of shots was placed in front of everyone. Emryc looked left and looked right to ensure everyone grabbed their glass, “Every last one of you better be drinking!” He tossed his shot back.

Emryc turned to regard Ilana when she addressed him, fire ignited in those silvers, “I dabble in it myself. Zoom around the Rodia tracks. Not good enough for Tatooine though,” He said, “Come out and watch me some day,” He grinned before another round of shots were brought out.
