We finally have a trailer.

Aliens attacking New York City....how innovative. And a song from Nine Inch Nails is in the trailer...like EVERY ****ING movie trailer that's come out of hollywood in the last ten years.

Still there are some cool bits.

How many other movies have NIN songs? Only one off the top of my head is Terminator. Also not looking for trailers to be innovative. They showed me the stuff I want to see. It's going to be a good summer.

Ten years is a long time. Though I'm not letting you have Social Network as that was a cover. Nor do I count shite like Final Destination or Righteous Kill. You have made your point though.

Those where just films off the top of my head, Nine Inch Nails are hugely famous for their covers of popular songs. Another one off the top of my head is The Crow. ****ing love that movie.

Not always. I actually like how Thor had the location be a small town in New Mexico and how the Incredible Hulk movie spanned a few locations as did Iron Man. Captain America it was part of his story to be there so that makes perfect sense and they didn't really utilize what we consider to be New York till the very end of the film.

Don't get me wrong, I love New York, I'm going there in a month, but it being used as a location in every action film under the sun has grown extremely tiresome over the last fricking decade. What possible reason could Loki have to attack it?

I agree with you, Tom Hiddleston is a great actor but i'm just not sure how they're going to pull this off.

And I said 'don't care' because I've no idea who Scarlet is. :) Other than she reminds me of Catwoman with the pose and has an epic costume, though I have a feeling she's someone's love interest in the film, thus I'd rather not know because I frickin' hate love interests in superhero/action movies. Ruins the action for me.

Hm... Well, I'm going by the whole Ultimate Alliance version of her and I remember that Black Widow was a Russian, ex-KGB operative or somethin'. As well as Colonel Nick Fury's right-hand and generally badassery badass enforcer.
